After sharing a laugh, Piao Duan Diao ignored the calls from his viewers and took control of Li Hong, starting to farm peacefully in the mid lane.
The reason Piao Duan Diao chose to farm in the mid lane with Li Hong was due to circumstances. Since it was a matchmaking game, his teammates had picked champions rather randomly. By the end, he realized that they had a full AD composition with Top Lane Barbarian King, Jungle Blind Man, and Assistance Thresh. Li Hong was also an AD champion, which meant they were entirely reliant on AD damage.
Such a composition could be problematic in ranked matches. However, since this was just a casual game, Piao Duan Diao didn’t pay much attention and focused on playing mid lane with Li Hong.
He had to admit that Li Hong's skill mechanics were quite impressive. After using several skills to poke at his opponent, he cheerfully told his viewers, "Alright, we’ve got this game in the bag. Don’t let our flawed composition fool you; my Li Hong is definitely solid. Just wait and see—after these few pokes, I’ll soon be able to solo kill their Lux."
Seeing the viewers continuously spamming comments about him bragging, Piao Duan Diao retorted, "Hey, why am I just bragging? I dare say that before level six, I can definitely solo kill their Lux. If I can’t do it, I’ll eat shit live on stream!"
Upon hearing Piao Duan Diao’s serious declaration, the viewers quieted down. After watching his streams for so long, they had some understanding of his skills. Since he was so confident, it seemed likely that he would succeed.
What followed was a series of mutual probing between both sides. Earlier, Piao Duan Diao's teammate Jungle Blind Man had come to gank mid lane but unfortunately couldn’t help him and ended up severely injured. Meanwhile, to withstand tower damage, Piao Duan Diao's Li Hong was also left with only half health. This was after he consumed a health potion; otherwise, his situation would have been worse.
"Wow, this Blind Man is really blind. He had such a good opportunity earlier but couldn't take down Lux and almost got himself killed instead," Piao Duan Diao lamented about his teammate's failed gank.
The operation was truly reckless, leading to a shift in the live stream's atmosphere, which had begun to turn against Piao Duan Diao. After all, the opposing Lux clearly knew how to play; she was not someone easy to take down.
At this moment, Lux was leveraging her health advantage and had firmly taken control of the minion wave. Li Hong from Piao Duan Diao could only linger on the outskirts, trying to soak up some experience while occasionally using skills to harass Lux as she last-hit minions.
As time went on, the previously established last-hitting advantage that Piao Duan Diao had created was gradually equalized. After successfully farming several waves of minions, Lux not only reached level five but also surpassed Li Hong in terms of last hits.
"Phew, this can't go on any longer. The opposing Lux knows what she's doing; her last-hitting skills are impressive," Piao Duan Diao remarked.
After praising Lux, Piao Duan Diao began to take things seriously. Lux had accumulated too much gold; if she returned home to buy items, then Piao Duan Diao's so-called solo kill would become a joke.
Even though it was just a casual comment in the live stream, Piao Duan Diao couldn't afford to be careless. If he failed to execute his plan, he could brush it off with humor, but there were always those who loved to stir up drama. If they got the momentum going, it would truly be a headache for Piao Duan Diao.
Sure enough, after finishing off another wave of minions, Lux began to unleash her skills recklessly to chip away at Li Hong's health. Seeing this unfold, Piao Duan Diao explained to his audience, "Look! Lux is about to go home. She's quite fed right now; if she goes back, she'll probably be able to buy her first major item."
"Let's not rush in yet; the opposing Lux hasn't used her Q skill. We'll wait until she uses it and then go in for the kill. Trust me, she's definitely dead this time," Piao Duan Diao said confidently.
When Lux realized she couldn't chip away at Piao Duan Diao anymore, she charged in and used her Q skill on him before retreating under the tower and hitting the recall button.
Piao Duan Diao was overjoyed at this turn of events and quickly maneuvered Li Hong closer to the recalling Lux. Just as Lux was about to finish her recall in those last couple of seconds, he flashed in and hit her with his Q skill.
Lux's recall was instantly interrupted, but that was all that happened. Li Hong's Q skill's knockback effect only worked on male champions. Since Lux was not a male champion, she was unaffected by the knockback.
However, Piao Duan Diao already knew this; he quickly auto-attacked a nearby low-health minion and reached level six.
He promptly activated his newly acquired ultimate ability, and Li Hong became enveloped in a layer of purple light. The tower's attack soon followed but did not deal any damage to Li Hong.
"Hahaha! Now you guys see why I can definitely get a solo kill? This hero is just too good! An invulnerability lasting dozens of seconds! If I can't get a solo kill with this, I'll eat dirt live!"
With a sly grin, Piao Duan Diao controlled his invulnerable Li Hong as he swiftly approached Lux and unleashed his full combo of skills.
Lux had already used her skills earlier and was still on cooldown. Faced with the charging Li Hong, she could only use Flash to create distance and continuously maneuver under her tower.
Li Hong wasn't taking damage from the tower, which Lux noticed as well. However, she thought it was similar to the Barbarian King's ultimate ability—just a few seconds of invulnerability that didn't warrant concern.
Piao Duan Diao had been entangled with Li Hong for quite a while, and he was still in an invincible state, which surprised the Lux player. Was this ultimate ability really lasting this long?
"Surprised? Look at me, I can even dance and taunt under the tower right now. With so much time left, what's a little more?" Piao Duan Diao said, forgetting to attack Lux as he controlled Li Hong to dance under the tower.
The live stream chat was buzzing at that moment.
"What the hell, is this level one ultimate really this powerful?"
"Invincible for dozens of seconds? That's insane!"
"Lux isn't running away? Damn it, Teacher Piao is too shameless!"
