To verify this hypothesis, Li Hong proceeded with several more attempts.
Unfortunately, no matter how much he tried to damage the helmet, he could not harm it in the slightest. The surface of the helmet remained smooth and rounded, as if it were meant to be that way.
"Indeed, this is something even the Supreme God values; it's impressive!" Li Hong exclaimed, holding a hammer in his hand.
Mark couldn't understand Li Hong's actions and could only vaguely sense that something was off. So, he leaned over curiously and asked, "Boss, should we continue trying?"
"No need. Continuing won't do any good. This thing has an incomprehensible quality; once assembled according to the blueprint, it becomes indestructible," Li Hong waved his hand dismissively.
After attempting to destroy it for so long, he had grasped the characteristics of the helmet.
Simply put, once this helmet was assembled according to the design, it would take on this form. Moreover, it would be imbued with a mysterious power that rendered it unbreakable.
This was good news for Li Hong.
If this item truly had some magical properties, it would definitely be worth selling.
However, once it was publicly sold, the secret of the blueprint could potentially be discovered by those with ulterior motives. After all, if they could dismantle the helmet and examine it, they would surely uncover its secrets.
But now, wrapped in this mysterious power, the helmet was utterly indestructible. Even they, the assemblers, couldn't break it—let alone anyone else.
Given this situation, selling the helmet posed no risk of leaking any secrets.
With this thought in mind, Li Hong suddenly became intrigued.
What remarkable quality did this helmet possess that required such an unscientific method to prevent leaks?
"Mark, can you test the function of this helmet?" Li Hong asked, pointing at the helmet.
Mark nodded and replied to Li Hong, "Boss, there are no chips or anything like that inside this helmet. Its connection method relies purely on a physical link. We need to connect the office's network cable to this helmet, and then we can use it."
As he spoke, Mark skillfully unplugged the network cable from a computer behind him and, under Li Hong's watchful gaze, plugged it into a port on the back of the helmet.
Once connected, the helmet quickly powered up. The display at the top showed the basic data of the helmet.
"Startup successful!
Unbound user!
Loading complete, the System can now be activated."
Li Hong couldn't understand any of this. He could only guess that it was a very advanced virtual reality helmet.
Unable to contain his curiosity, Li Hong gently placed the helmet on his head, eager to try out this new gadget.
The moment he donned the helmet, a screen descended in front of his forehead. The screen resembled a computer desktop.
However, there was nothing on it; against the white background, it looked empty.
In the lower right corner, there was an enter button. Li Hong narrowed his eyes and quietly pressed it.
As soon as he pressed it, the screen in front of him instantly retracted, and without him realizing it, a dark and deep vortex appeared before him.
A wave of dizziness washed over Li Hong's mind, making him feel uncomfortable. Fortunately, he managed to suppress the urge to vomit and shifted his gaze to his surroundings.
He was clearly still in the office, yet before him lay a scene of blue skies, white clouds, sandy beaches, and tropical islands.
Even Li Hong could feel the salty dampness wafting in from the seaside.
As his gaze flickered, Li Hong was utterly astonished by the capabilities of this helmet.
This was indeed the legendary Virtual Helmet!
As a loser writer, Li Hong loved nothing more than to indulge in reading during his free time.
He enjoyed exploring the stories on the terminal above. He had read plenty of Virtual Game Novels that utilized the Virtual Helmet for their immersive experiences.
But he never imagined he would get to witness the virtual world firsthand.
If it weren't for the slightly blurry quality of the scene before him, Li Hong might have believed he had crossed over to some wild island.
Nevertheless, he was still thoroughly amazed.
He tried moving his body and discovered that he could actually move around in this space.
Jumping, running, leaping, crawling...
Li Hong eagerly tested every possible human movement and found that he could do them all here.
"Welcome to the virtual world!" Li Hong exclaimed in delight as he watched a flock of seagulls soar overhead.
Even though he had tried to overestimate the design of Supreme God, he still hadn't expected it to be such an advanced technology as the Virtual Helmet.
Unfortunately, the world manifested by the Virtual Helmet was too dull. It was just a deserted island with nothing on it.
After playing for a short while, Li Hong began to feel a sense of boredom.
Summoning the control window of the helmet, Li Hong exited this world in shock.
The sensation of exiting wasn't as intense as entering, but he still felt a wave of dizziness wash over him.
Once he exited, he found himself back at the previously empty white table.
Removing the helmet, he looked at Mark, who had a curious expression, and said, "Mark, a new era is about to arrive!"
Mark still seemed puzzled and asked curiously, "Boss, what do you mean? What new era? Is this helmet really that impressive?"
"Hahaha!"
Li Hong chuckled and replied, "Whether it's impressive or not is secondary for now. You should contact Penguin Group and see if they are still interested in acquiring Fist Holdings since we have intentions to sell."
Mark's eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at Li Hong as if he were crazy.
If Li Hong weren't the Boss, Mark would have probably started cursing by now.
What kind of international joke was this? The Goddess Alliance had already gotten on track, and it was time to make a fortune—why sell Fist?
Mark didn't know what Li Hong had seen while wearing the helmet, but his intuition told him that the Boss was either crazy or had discovered something extraordinary.
"Do you think I've lost my mind?" Li Hong asked with interest.
Mark's face showed an awkward expression as he let out a slight grunt of embarrassment.
"Uh, just do as I say," he said.
Li Hong spoke with an incredibly serious expression, "Trust me, with this helmet, the world will undergo an unprecedented change. We should sell it while we can still get some money for it. Otherwise, once this thing is released, it won't be worth a dime."
Hearing Li Hong's seriousness, Mark also became unusually earnest.
He gently tapped the rounded shell of the helmet and asked curiously, "Boss, what exactly is this thing? Does it really have the power you claim it does?"
"It exceeds expectations. It's a ticket to a virtual world. What about you?" Li Hong replied with a smile.
