The open space was clearly situated on a strange and desolate island, which Li Hong recognized as the Spawn Island set by Mark and the others.
At the beginning of the game, all players would gather on this Spawn Island and wait for the plane to drop them into the main battlefield of PUBG.
Just then, a young man in a white jacket suddenly appeared beside Li Hong. Unlike the stiff robots around him, this person had his own expressions and movements.
"Player Mark666 requests to connect. Do you accept?"
The system's prompt made Li Hong chuckle; it turned out that Mark had logged in.
After accepting Mark's voice connection, Li Hong and Mark entered a private channel.
"Boss, how does this Spawn Island feel?" Mark said proudly next to Li Hong.

The Spawn Island in PUBG was supposed to be just a waiting area for players before the game started. This meant that it didn't need to be very large; it just had to accommodate the activity range of a hundred players.
However, the Spawn Island that appeared before Li Hong's eyes was even more expansive than he had imagined. He couldn't see the coastline at all.
Mark explained, "Boss, the Spawn Island is an extremely important part of our Virtual Platform. Since this is a virtual world, if there isn't a suitable place for players to stay, do they have to exit the virtual world and re-enter just to play one game?"

Mark spoke confidently, "Every player will appear on this island after logging into PUBG. In the future, we plan to add cafes, bars, and entertainment venues to enhance the players' experience on this island.

After the game ends or upon death, players will be immediately sent back to this island. If we consider traditional online games, this island serves as the main city where players can communicate and team up, while dungeons are accessed from another location."
"How big is this island? How many players can it accommodate?" Li Hong began to worry.

Mark's statement shocked Li Hong. Could they really fit billions of players? But then he thought about it and had to admit Mark was right.
This was a virtual world; since there was such a vast continent in the virtual realm, accommodating billions of players was entirely feasible.

"Here's the thing, we considered that players might find it a bit dull on Spawn Island. So, we are planning to set up some entertainment spots on Spawn Island before the launch. Players can wait for matchmaking here and also collaborate with other players."
"This is a good idea, but Mark, have you thought about an important issue?" Li Hong asked.

Mark was taken aback by the question, then smiled and replied, "Boss, we've considered this issue as well.
