Infinite Strongest G
After sorting out the exhibition matters, Mark quickly gathered the team to prepare for the exhibition.
Li Hong was also busy; taking advantage of the early hour, he went to inspect the production line at the helmet assembly factory located in the suburbs.
During this inspection, Li Hong found that the security level of this suburban factory was indeed quite stringent. If he hadn’t confirmed that this was his own factory, he might have thought he had stumbled into a military restricted area.
Overall, the factory was relatively stable, with over twenty thousand members of the Soul Clan energetically working day and night on the production line. Trucks filled with materials continuously entered the factory warehouse, and under everyone's hands, these materials were gradually processed into high-tech Virtual Helmets.
Currently, due to a lack of experience, the production progress was somewhat unsatisfactory. They could only produce a few thousand Virtual Helmets at a time. Although this number wasn’t insignificant, it was still too low in light of the impending surge in orders.
However, Li Hong didn’t demand too much; as long as they proceeded step by step, that was enough. It wasn’t time to launch yet, so they could slowly produce and stockpile goods. Once it was time for launch, increasing production would not be a problem.
Li Hong was quite satisfied with the work ethic of the Soul Clan. After coming to Earth, these people had endured quite a bit of hardship. Now that Li Hong generously took them in, they were immensely grateful.
After inspecting the factory, Li Hong realized it was getting late and it was time to pick up Yuchen from kindergarten.
After greeting the factory manager, Soul Sphere, Li Hong drove to Sunshine Kindergarten.
The reason the factory manager was Soul Sphere instead of Soulmate was that Soulmate was busy filming and couldn’t spare time to oversee the factory.
As for Sweet Potato Films, Li Hong found it utterly frustrating.
Having brought in several directors, Sweet Potato's framework had finally started to take shape.
However, having recruited people, they couldn't just sit idly by, could they?
Thus, various major projects began to be launched under Charlie's leadership.
First up was Wu Jin, who chose a military-themed book called Bullet Marks at the finish line and decided to adapt it into a film titled Wolf Warrior.
Well, this kind of movie is quite costly, given the extensive explosion scenes. However, Li Hong wasn't one to get upset; since they had brought in the talent, they had to provide the necessary budget.
With a wave of his hand, Li Hong allocated eighty million Soft Sister Coins to Wu Jin. Of course, internally it was eighty million, but for external promotion, it became a two hundred million Major Production investment.
Alright then, it's all just boasting; Li Hong couldn't break the industry's rules, so he might as well blow it up.
The Happy Mahua Team also chose a popular rebirth theme at the finish line. After combining it with one of their stage play scripts, they managed to create Charlotte's Troubles.
This subject matter required much less investment. If it weren't for hiring two big stars, the production costs would have been minimal. Thus, Li Hong generously invested thirty million into Happy Mahua Team.
Of course, they still had to boast about it; as long as they knew the truth about the thirty million themselves. For external promotion, it was all about the big billion-dollar investment!
Seeing that his two colleagues already had projects underway, Wang Yu, the Television Director, couldn't contain his impatience any longer. He insisted on pestering Li Hong because he wanted to shoot something too.
But Wang Yu had done his homework. He had his sights set on Zhu Xian, which had been immensely popular a few years ago, and aimed to produce it as a pinnacle of domestic fantasy television dramas.
Li Hong just hoped that when the time came, the original fans would hold back on their criticisms.
This was Sweet Potato Films' first foray into television dramas. Due to their unfamiliarity with this field's operational model, they were hesitant to invest heavily.
Wang Yu did not demand an exorbitant amount; he merely proposed a production budget of thirty million.
This budget made Li Hong hesitate for quite some time, but in the end, he agreed. Wang Yu understood that in the television industry, low investment with high returns is rare because television shows take much longer to produce than films. Even a poorly made television series requires several months of filming, while a hastily produced movie can be completed in just two or three weeks if the crew is ready.
Li Hong, being an outsider to this field, could not refute this point. However, after consulting with Charlie, the general manager, Li Hong decided to invest thirty million to test the waters.
He figured it was worth trying out the television industry; whether it would be profitable was secondary.
Despite Li Hong and Charlie's skepticism, Wang Yu was very confident. According to him, there was no way this show could lose money!
Of course, Li Hong and Charlie remained cautious about Wang Yu's optimism.
In fact, the reason the Zhu Xian television series required such a large budget was primarily for acquiring rights and hiring big-name stars. The actual spending on special effects and sets could only be described as minimal.
There was no way around it; that was just how the industry worked. Li Hong could only lower his head shyly and scratch his palm in acceptance of the criticism.
Naturally, it was difficult to inflate the production costs since they were not as inflated as those of films. However, a little exaggeration was still acceptable.
Thus, before the Zhu Xian television series even began filming, news of Sweet Potato Films' extravagant thirty million investment spread like wildfire.
...
When Li Hong drove to Sunshine Kindergarten, he discovered another familiar figure waiting at the school gate.
"What are you doing here?" Li Hong asked curiously as he approached Lin Ruxian.
Lin Ruxian shot Li Hong a glance and huffed, "I’m not, am I? I will play the role of a good mother. Isn’t picking up the kids something I should be doing?"
"No need for that. I'm here now, so you should just go back," Li Hong replied with a smile.
Lin Ruxian placed her hands on her hips and asked defiantly, "What gives you the right to send me away? Didn’t you agree to this back in the car?"
Li Hong pointed at the car Lin Ruxian had driven and then at the one parked behind him, raising an eyebrow. "And what about you? Are you really going to take my car back?"
"Fine, I’ll just find a driver to take me back later," Lin Ruxian pouted, sounding like a child.
Li Hong rubbed his forehead in exasperation. "Alright, alright, do whatever you want."
He didn’t want to waste any more time arguing with Lin Ruxian since kindergarten had already let out. Moreover, their little spat had drawn quite a crowd of parents waiting to pick up their children.
Fortunately, Lin Ruxian was wearing sunglasses and a scarf, so no one recognized her for the moment. As for Li Hong, his fame hadn’t reached a level where everyone would know him.
Just as Li Hong spotted Yuchen bouncing toward him, he was about to step forward when Lin Ruxian beat him to it.
"Yuchen, do you know who I am?"
As Yuchen was stopped by a Sunglasses Woman, the teacher behind her was about to intervene when she caught sight of Li Hong standing behind the woman.
As a teacher, she recognized Yuchen's father immediately. Seeing him standing still behind the woman made her guess the woman's identity instantly.
"Yuchen actually lied to me; she said she didn’t have a mother," the beautiful teacher said, nearly in tears.
As a teacher, she was well aware of each student's family situation. Yuchen lived in a luxurious apartment building, and his father was the CEO of a company. Most importantly, his father was still single and only a year older than her.
How could this not make the teacher's heart flutter? Landing such a diamond bachelor would be a huge win!
She felt confident about becoming Yuchen's stepmother.
However, that confidence shattered completely the moment she saw the Sunglasses Woman.
Yuchen, you big liar! How could you deceive the teacher into thinking you didn't have a mother?
I really fell for Yuchen's trick! The female teacher felt like collapsing to the ground and crying her heart out.
