"I am still considering and haven't made a decision yet," Li Hong said, shaking his head.
Lin Ruxian glanced at the man thoughtfully and asked, "Are you worried about Yuchen?"
"Yes, even though she has accepted you, I still feel a bit uneasy just handing her over to you," Li Hong replied candidly.
Lin Ruxian fixed her charming gaze on Li Hong and said slowly, "That's easy to solve. Just bring us both along."
Li Hong rolled his eyes in exasperation and retorted, "Why would I bring you? I can just take Yuchen with me."
"Hey, what do you mean by that? Aren't you going to America for something important? If that's the case, how could you possibly have time to take care of Yuchen? Bringing me along would solve that problem perfectly."
Reluctantly, Lin Ruxian's suggestion did alleviate some of Li Hong's concerns. She was right; if he took Yuchen alone to Las Vegas, he would still face the dilemma of balancing work and taking care of her. If he didn't take Yuchen, he would worry about what might happen.
Since that was the case, bringing Lin Ruxian along didn't seem like such a bad idea after all.
"Alright then, I can take you along, but you have to promise me to take good care of Yuchen. Otherwise, don't even think about it," Li Hong warned the woman seriously.
Lin Ruxian felt a vein throb on her forehead, infuriated by Li Hong's words. When had she ever been treated with such disdain? Usually, it was others who sought her favor; how had the tables turned with Li Hong?
Not wanting to dwell on it further, Lin Ruxian calmly said, "Yuchen is on vacation tomorrow; when do you think we should leave?"
"Let's go tomorrow then. The sooner we go, the sooner we can come back," Li Hong decided firmly.

On January 9th, 2018, the International Consumer Electronics Show finally kicked off in Las Vegas.
Manufacturers and tech enthusiasts from around the world gathered in this famous gambling city.
Chinese manufacturers became the most anticipated presence before the exhibition opened.
Whether it was the advertisements plastered on entry passes or the tech giant Huawei in the smartphone arena, they were all under the spotlight.
However, when everyone walked into the main venue of the exhibition, they realized that none of that was key. The real question was, who exactly was this company named Sweet Potato Technology Co., Ltd.?
This question quickly became a puzzle that troubled many visitors and exhibitors alike.
Upon entering the main hall, a large promotional display greeted them.
A round, mysterious helmet sat atop a semi-transparent glass showcase, its silver body and intricate design radiating a sense of advanced technology.
"It will change the world today!"
Accompanied by an overly dramatic tagline, it immediately piqued the curiosity of many.
Although phrases like "change the world" had become clichéd, the fact that the Organizing Committee was promoting it so seriously suggested that Sweet Potato Technology was likely not just any ordinary company.
With only a physical image to go on, everyone could only speculate that this was a wearable device; as for what exactly it was, opinions varied widely.
Some believed that the Organizing Committee had received mysterious funding from the East and sold promotional resources to Sweet Potato Technology.
However, this theory clearly had little market traction. After all, the exhibition was a large-scale event, and while advertising was ubiquitous, one would expect that they wouldn't play any tricks in such a prominent promotional position. If things went wrong here, it would tarnish the reputation of the entire exhibition.
Before arriving, there had been speculation about what this year's featured product would be. Some guessed it would be a new imaging technology from L, while others thought it might be Huawei's latest product...
But no one expected the organizers to abandon these major brands in favor of an obscure company's product as the highlight of this year's event.
"Mike, what do you think this thing is?" a Fox reporter asked his colleague.
"I think it should be a VR device; after all, you know how much the exhibition loves these things that lack promotional value."
"You might be right. However, with the Organizing Committee making such a big deal out of it, this company must have achieved some new breakthrough in the VR field. But why isn't this an American company? God, I feel like this year's exhibition is turning into a showcase for Huaxia."
"It's really disheartening. I just got word that our number of exhibitors from America hasn't even surpassed that of one city in Huaxia. By the way, you know which city I'm talking about—Peng City."
"Who cares? That has nothing to do with us. Let's go check out how good this thing really is."
"That's right, I hope it's something that can be mass-produced and promoted. I really don't want to see any more toys for the rich..."
The careful promotion by the organizers led many people to rush towards the booth of Sweet Potato Technology as soon as they entered the main venue.
This was a positive sign; Sweet Potato Technology was indeed garnering more and more attention.
In reality, many visitors and reporters, eager to experience the breakthroughs in VR technology, went wild upon learning that this was actually a mass-producible Virtual Helmet.
"Oh my God, what did I just hear?"
"Oh my gosh, wasn't the virtual world supposed to be impossible to break through for at least twenty years?"
"They must be frauds! Damn it, you're lying, aren't you?"
"America is finished..."
Merlin, who was lurking beside the Sweet Potato Technology booth, couldn't help but chuckle and shake his head at the chaos around him. He had once been just as incredulous.
But the facts proved that they had indeed succeeded.
Impressive, isn't it?
Mark was a pragmatic person; he didn't like playing around with fantasies. Although there were constant doubts raised by others, he chose not to explain anything.
He simply brought out dozens of Virtual Helmets and let everyone try them one by one. Mark couldn't believe that after experiencing it, these people would still say such things.
After trying them out, the atmosphere became even more electrifying!
Countless reporters who received the news and curious onlookers surged towards the booth like a tidal wave, surrounding it completely.
Everyone was eager to experience the wonders of the virtual world. Even those who had already tried it before rejoined the fray under the allure of technology.
It was only when the organizers dispatched security personnel to maintain order that the scene regained some semblance of calm.
“Congratulations to you, Sweet Potato Technology from Huaxia. You are the first to make us deploy security to maintain order at the scene,” Merlin said, his gaze complex as he looked at Mark.
As the head of the Organizing Committee, Merlin felt pleased with the sensation that Sweet Potato Technology had created. It proved that his vision was not wrong; the Virtual Helmet was undoubtedly a product capable of changing the world.
However, as an American, Merlin felt a pang of bitterness inside.
For many years, America had been leading the world in technology. Even as its economy was gradually surpassed by Huaxia across the ocean, in the realm of technology, America remained the undisputed leader. But at this moment, the technological crown that America wore had finally been toppled by an inconspicuous company.
Their pride shattered in an instant.
Faced with this epoch-making moment, which also marked a shift in the technological throne, Merlin naturally felt immense sorrow. Although Mark and the designers behind him were all Americans, Merlin knew that this was a genuine Huaxia enterprise.
“Times have changed, Mr. Merlin. This is how the world works. When others are striving to move forward while you celebrate in place, you will always be surpassed. Even if the one who surpasses you isn’t running very fast, they are still running,” Mark tried to comfort Merlin.
