"What are you doing?"

Smiling, Li Hong held Lin Ruxian even tighter and mustered all his courage to ask, "After we return home, will you marry me?"
"I've already married you, you forgetful idiot," Lin Ruxian teased with a laugh.
Li Hong also smiled; it was the first time in a long while that he felt so happy. "That doesn't count; I owe you a wedding!"
Lin Ruxian's eyes suddenly lost focus, and she froze. What had she just heard? What was Li Hong saying?
Seeing the incredulous look on Lin Ruxian's face, Li Hong chuckled, "Weren't you just fierce a moment ago? Why are you speechless now? Don't tell me you're not willing?"
"I... I just didn't expect it to come so suddenly..." Lin Ruxian covered her mouth in disbelief.

"Go to hell! You bastard! You’re playing with my feelings!" Before Li Hong could finish his sentence, Lin Ruxian sprang up from his embrace and grabbed a cushion from the sofa to throw at him.
This jerk really had zero emotional intelligence. At a time like this, didn’t he realize that just a few sweet lies could win my heart? How could he be so blunt about his true feelings? It left her feeling utterly embarrassed.
