On July 27th, just as anticipated, Hu Ruoyun received the admission notice from Annan County's Eighth High School. The notice stated that she was to report to school on August 22nd, with a tuition fee of 185 yuan.
The next day, July 28th, Brother Biao rode over on his Twenty-Eight Bar Bicycle, looking anxious as he sought out Hu Ruoyun.
The two entered the small room where Hu Ruoyun lived alone, which was technically two rooms but in reality consisted of one room filled to the brim with Wheat Straw for feeding donkeys.

Hu Ruoyun asked him, "So what did you say?"
Brother Biao replied, "I told them it was me, you, and Jiang Qiuying. I explained the situation—we were the victims. What’s there to be afraid of?"

After calming the distraught Brother Biao, Hu Ruoyun felt a surge of anger. The Police Station Chief should know what kind of person Dog Young Master is; hopefully, he wouldn’t act recklessly and do something outrageous.
