The Meteor Belt, as the name suggests, is a band of variously sized meteors. They move in a regular periodic motion due to the gravitational pull of nearby planets, yet their individual movements are chaotic and unpredictable. Because of this, most Interstellar Mechas tend to steer clear of the Meteor Belt, rarely encountering someone like Jufeng, who charges through without a care. 0

Jufeng was fully focused as he maneuvered his mecha, gliding through the shallow depths like an eel. His movements were graceful, but the toll on his mind was something only he could truly understand. As he plunged deeper into the Meteor Belt, now nearly ten thousand meters in, beads of sweat had already betrayed his exhaustion. He narrowly dodged a large meteor by suddenly veering to the right, finally shaking off Bill's relentless pursuit. 0

Jufeng halted his mecha, gasping for breath, his face pale. He struggled to look at Chuyang and stammered, “ Chuyang … I’ve led that bastard right in… now it’s up to you. Dad… Dad’s honor needs… needs you to defend it…” 0

For some reason, after spending these days together, Jufeng no longer viewed Chuyang as just a child. Despite her way of thinking and habits, along with her innocent appearance that made any inappropriate thoughts impossible, he felt an undeniable sense of reliance on her. Though this sentiment might seem ridiculous, it had taken root in Jufeng's heart ever since Chuyang had commanded the aircraft to open the door on her own. 0

A father's encouragement is like a kindergarten red flower; it can make friends believe wholeheartedly in adults' "schemes." Looking at Chuyang's expression, one could see a sense of righteousness akin to being sold out yet still counting the money for someone else. 0

Chuyang wore a serious expression that was unusually grave; even her chubby cheeks were tense. Her brows furrowed inward slightly, adding an air of determination. 0

“Don’t worry, Dad. Just leave it to Chuyang from here on out. Just wait and see how I’ll make that bad guy pay!” 0

As she spoke, Chuyang closed her eyes. Jufeng then watched as his “rusty old bucket” began to operate slowly without any external control. Several lights indicating the Rocket Launcher gradually lit up, and then the mecha slowly turned in space before coming to a halt in a specific direction. After a couple of breaths, the mecha suddenly launched two rockets that whizzed forward. 0

The speed was astonishing—so fast that Jufeng didn’t even realize what Shell was targeting until a massive meteor abruptly appeared in the path of the rockets. Naturally, the two rockets charged toward their final explosive moment like two warriors carrying explosive packs. 0

“Boom!” A close encounter—a violent collision. 0

The enormous meteor burst apart like a ripe watermelon, instantly transforming into countless pieces. The scene was breathtaking; however, those who weren’t paying close attention might lament how those two rockets were wasted. But Jufeng didn’t feel that way at all; his keen insight revealed that Bill was hiding behind the massive meteor after the explosion—this was a seasoned trickster. 0

“That guy was hiding behind the meteor! Damn it, I almost fell right into his trap.” 0

After such a life-and-death chase filled with thrills and chills, anyone would be exhilarated—and Jufeng was no exception—so much so that he let slip some coarse language. 0

Chuyang secretly stuck out her cute little tongue and cheered for her dad, “It’s okay, Dad! He’s already trapped by those debris; now we just need to fire at him!” 0

Countless fragments of stone formed an invisible cage, trapping others in the center. Jufeng was overjoyed upon seeing this; he could finally hold his head high and breathe easy. 0

“Chuyang, fire at the remnants for Dad. Just make sure he has enough air to fly back,” he instructed. 0

“Got it, on it!” Chuyang giggled in response. 0

Jufeng didn’t know how to operate the cannon, but Chuyang was skilled at it. With laughter, the girl launched a barrage of shells, equivalent to what Bill would fire, into the shackles made of meteorite fragments. Jufeng opened the communication channel and left a string of text messages for Bill before piloting the mech away. 0

“Those who come out to mix will eventually have to pay up.” 0

Inside the cockpit, anxiety filled the air as everyone eagerly awaited news. It had been half an hour since the duel began; surely, a victor should have emerged by now. 0

Wade and Zhu Mao thought that even if the boss gave Jufeng some leeway, it should be nearing its end. Tong Bailong wondered what kind of tactics Brother Jufeng would employ to turn the tables. 0

Before long, a bright point suddenly appeared on the screen, gradually enlarging until it became clear to everyone’s sight. 0

It wasn’t red. 0

Civility smiled faintly and turned to exit the cockpit. Just as he turned, his gaze inadvertently flicked toward Situ Yu for a brief moment. 0

Politeness clasped his hands behind his head and stood up gracefully from his seat, muttering, “What a pity about my hundred bucks.” He then followed Civility out of the cockpit. 0

Tong Bailong watched as both older figures left without any intention of handling the wager. He stood there hesitantly. 0

Fortunately, Flower Snow Moon reassured him as she was about to leave, “Tong Bailong, that money is yours; take it with peace of mind.” She then turned to Situ Yu and said coolly, “I have something to discuss with you.” 0

Tong Bailong received the approval of Flower Snow Moon and quickly joyfully gathered the two stacks of money from the table. He then flashed a smug smile at Wade and Zhu Mao before stepping out of the cockpit. 0

Situ Yu's expression shifted between moods when he saw that Jufeng was the first to return. Hearing Flower Snow Moon's tone, he seemed to have some realization, and with a serious face, he walked out of the cockpit alongside Tong Bailong. 0

In no time, only Wade and Zhu Mao were left. 0

"What do they mean? Just because someone is the first to return makes them the winner? Huh?" 0

With the room now empty, Wade suddenly raised his voice, sounding somewhat confrontational. Zhu Mao rolled his eyes at him and retorted, "Why didn't you say anything when everyone was here? You're just being a backseat driver!" 0

... 0

In a corner of the aircraft, Civilization and Politeness leaned against each other, discussing something. 0

"Why did you have to create a betting situation? Aren't you just undermining your own people?" 0

"Own people?" Politeness chuckled, "I just can't stand his constant serious face; it's even worse than yours. Besides, did I force him to bet big?" 0

Civilization surprisingly did not argue back but let out a long sigh. The bet made today had Politeness placing his stakes on Bill, which aligned with his character; others didn't really participate. However, Situ Yu followed closely behind and placed a hefty bet on Bill, which sparked some discussion. Although only a few were involved, it was inevitable that someone would try to exploit any gaps. If word got from Zhu Mao to Bill and then to Jufeng, it wouldn't be just a casual bet anymore. 0

Politeness knew Situ Yu's character well and intentionally set him up. 0

Situ Yu was an old subordinate of Hua Gang; although he was Flower Snow Moon's brother, he had no feelings or connections with Jufeng. One incident could reveal a person's true intentions, potentially sowing seeds for future trouble. How could Jufeng trust Situ Yu if his master had no faith in those around him? That person would be in danger. 0

"I just don't understand," Civilization suddenly turned around with a teasing expression. "You've offended your own uncle; how are you going to pursue his sister now?" 0

With that, Civilization laughed heartily and left behind a furious Politeness, who exploded in anger. "Civilization, damn you!" 0

In another corner of the aircraft, Flower Snow Moon and Situ Yu stood together, the atmosphere heavy with tension. 0

"Do you know what you've done?" Flower Snow Moon asked, her tone slightly angry. 0

Situ Yu pressed her lips together tightly. After a long pause, she finally managed to say, "I don't understand. I don't understand why that pale-faced person would set me up, and I don't understand why you trust Jufeng more than your own brother!" 0

As she spoke, tears began to well up in Situ Yu's eyes. 0

"I don't understand why you look down on me. Everything I do is wrong; nothing makes you happy. Now that your brother has been schemed against, instead of helping him seek justice, you're here lecturing me? You're such a good sister!" 0

With that final remark, Situ Yu let out a cold laugh. Flower Snow Moon's face flushed with anger as she raised her hand to slap her, while Fiery Beauty's eyes glistened with unshed tears. 0

"Why do I look down on you? I am your own sister! Why is it that even at your age, you still don't understand? When someone digs a pit for you, do you just jump in without a second thought? Do you even know how to write the words 'human hearts are treacherous'? Being close to power is like being close to a tiger; no one wants a bomb hidden beside them. Take care of yourself." 0

Flower Snow Moon was sobbing uncontrollably. In that moment, her back appeared weary and worn as she slowly walked past Situ Yu, seemingly exhausted to the core. 0

"I am the pride of Hua Gang, not some follower of the Nonsense hurricane." 0

Situ Yu was unwilling to accept this and continued to struggle in defiance. However, just one sentence from Flower Snow Moon sent Situ Yu's proud heart plummeting into despair. 0

"Hua Gang has already fallen; don’t forget who saved you." 0

A little later, in another corner of the aircraft, Flower Snow Moon and Politeness engaged in a brief conversation without anyone noticing. 0

"Thank you for helping me with this. I only have one younger brother, and I haven't been able to educate him properly." 0

Politeness scratched his head somewhat awkwardly. "No need to thank me. It's just playing the role of the bad guy, nothing more. But you might be pushing him too hard; after all, he is still a child." 0

Flower Snow Moon sighed deeply, revealing a rare moment of vulnerability in front of others. 0

"Our parents passed away early, and I've always lacked the ability to care for him. What else can I do? I can only find ways to help him grow up quickly. The world is full of uncertainties, and if I'm not around one day, I hope he can survive on his own." 0

In that moment, she was no longer Fiery Beauty but an ordinary woman. 0

Flower Snow Moon gazed out the window, while Politeness looked at her, both lost in thought for a long time. 0
