The spacecraft departed from the star and needed to traverse two Star Systems before returning to the Nebula where Earth resided. It was a journey that spanned the currently explored cosmic expanse, taking about half a month. 0

The journey was the loneliest yet least lonely experience. Each member of the Polite Civilization occupied their own space; one was busy shooting, while another was running around, leaving onlookers bewildered. Flower Snow Moon and Situ Yu, the brother and sister duo, had carved out a quiet room for themselves, engaging in discussions about the ways of mastering people and the principles of governance. This prompted Politeness to mockingly suggest that they were both conspiracy theorists. Tong Bailong easily blended into a group of men, assisting Wade in training his squad of armed soldiers. Bill and Zhu Mao handled daily chores and various navigation tasks, while Jufeng and Chuyang amusingly piloted mechs, wandering around the airship. 0

As the airship sailed halfway through the vast starry sea, it unexpectedly encountered pirates. A pirate ship, equipped similarly to their own vessel, suddenly appeared in their path, brandishing an aggressive stance. 0

"Isn't that just the bunch shouting that this mountain is mine?" 0

In the cockpit, Politeness saw the approaching pirate ship and felt a rush of excitement. After all, such encounters were rare; pirate ships typically did not target civilian vessels. However, Jufeng's ship, laden with fifty billion in assets, was clearly a coveted prize for them. 0

"Miss Flower, what should we do? Brother Jufeng is still outside; should we call him back immediately?" 0

With Jufeng absent, most responsibilities fell on Flower Snow Moon's shoulders. However, it was worth noting that Bill consistently referred to her as "Miss Flower." This somewhat historical title made Politeness cringe every time it was uttered. The reason was simple: he wanted to laugh but dared not do so in front of Flower Snow Moon; it was quite a struggle to hold back. 0

Sure enough, as soon as Miss Flower appeared, Politeness covered his mouth with one hand while clutching his stomach with the other, looking rather comical. 0

Poor Bill, who had an exceptional understanding of Huaguo culture, remained oblivious to any other meanings behind "Miss Flower." 0

Flower Snow Moon shot Politeness a glare that could kill without consequence before returning her focus to the main screen. Just as she was about to send a message to Jufeng, he beat her to it. 0

"Don't worry about me; focus on your defenses and retaliate appropriately." 0

Soon after, the pirate ship entered firing range and halted its advance. Bill ordered the airship to drop anchor and maximized the frontal defense energy while preparing several main cannons for action. 0

Before long, the pirates initiated their attack. After a few flashes of light, a barrage of cannon fire rained down upon them. 0

Bill had previously engaged in similar activities; although he hadn’t succeeded then, he gained enough experience to know that this round of fire wouldn’t significantly impact their ship. He remained vigilant and aimed one of the main cannons at the enemy's control center—strike at their weak point—and ordered his own cannon fire just after being hit. 0

With a thunderous boom, the airship shook slightly but remained unharmed. 0

A moment later, the opposing ship experienced a similar fate; however, their tremors were more pronounced and accompanied by bursts of flames. 0

Wade proudly declared, "The equipment on our airship could stand up to military standards; if you want to play rough with me, I won't go down easily!" 0

Unexpectedly, after only a slight tremor, the pirate ship turned tail and fled without a second thought. Bill was astonished, and everyone in the cockpit shared his surprise. What was going on with this abrupt change? It felt as if we were the pirates! 0

"Should we pursue?" Bill asked. 0

"If we chase them, won't we truly become pirates?" Politeness replied in shock. 0

Flower Snow Moon was also deep in thought when Jufeng's timely message came through. 0

"The pirates are behaving unusually. I'll follow them to investigate; you all head back. Once home, we'll stick to the original plan—no training for now, and everything will be directed by Snow Moon. Have Bill send a support mech to follow me." 0

The so-called support mech was one that had most of its firepower stripped away and replaced with a sufficient energy source and various random parts to assist the main mech in combat. 0

Flower Snow Moon wanted to advise Jufeng against this course of action but held back at the last moment. Stubbornness was a trait of madmen; once he made a decision, it seemed nearly impossible to change. She could only turn to Bill and say, "Make sure to protect Wind's safety!" 0

The pirates had been focused on the aircraft and had no idea that another mech was lurking nearby. Even more surprising to them would be that someone was conducting reconnaissance. They were merely unfortunate souls driven by life’s circumstances to take risks; how many among them truly possessed professional skills for space travel or combat? 0

Jufeng led the way, with Bill following closely behind as they stealthily trailed the pirate ship, quickly disappearing into the vastness of space. 0

"What a pity! I can't pilot a mech; otherwise, I'd love to take on those Pirate Leaders," Politeness lamented. 0

Civilization scoffed, arms crossed. "Why don't you go outside and show off your 'Shadow Step' or 'Wave Walking'? Let's see if those pirates are your match." 0

Politeness fumed at the remark, pulling his hands from his pockets. "You arrogant fool who thinks you're invincible just because you have a gun! Why don't you shoot at that pirate ship and see if it whimpers?" 0

Civilization didn't bother looking back as he walked out the door. "Boring!" 0

Unwilling to let it go, Politeness chased after him, shouting, "Let's battle for another three hundred rounds!" 0

Seeing the two rush out in a flurry, Tong Bailong scratched his head and chuckled. "Brother Ming is still good to me." 0

Upon hearing this, Flower Snow Moon and Situ Yu exchanged glances and soon burst into laughter as well. 0

In a corner of a desolate planet, in a room resembling a military base, three men were staring at a large screen broadcasting the scene of a recent exchange of fire between a pirate ship and an aircraft. 0

The footage paused, and one of the men, a bald man with a black and blue dragon tattooed on his back, spoke first. "This aircraft is well-equipped, far beyond what that transport ship from last time could compare to. If you’re serious about robbing it, the price has to quadruple." 0

The other two men, both middle-aged and dressed in suits, exchanged glances filled with shrewdness and a glimmer of insight. 0

One of them replied, "Last time, we thought Huankezhao would give us the extra share since we’ve been cooperating for so many years. But it seems they sensed something was off and directly excluded previous partners from bidding. We can’t act just yet; after all, they’re just a second-rate company. No matter how high a grasshopper can jump, it can't eat a tiger. I’ll engage in some business tactics with him first. If that doesn’t work out, I’ll trouble Eagle Brother." 0

The bald man chuckled lightly, his expression warm. "Alright then, let’s take it slow." 0

The three men laughed together, but beneath their smiles lay hidden agendas as they plotted against each other. 0
