In the distance, a gray planet gradually came into view. Bill used the communicator to wake Jufeng, who had been struggling to stay awake but was now exhausted and dozing off, reminding him that they had arrived at their target planet. 0

The planet was not large, roughly comparable in size to Earth's moon. From the angle where Jufeng and Bill were located, the light from the stars shone directly on them, illuminating what could be called the "white" side of the planet, yet there was hardly a trace of blue to be seen. Bill deployed a detection satellite, and the results were clear: this planet was not covered by any network of detection satellites, allowing Jufeng and Bill to safely avoid crowds and land directly. 0

However, Jufeng remained cautious and didn’t mind taking extra time to circle around to the dark side of the planet before accelerating downwards, plunging into this unknown world. 0

In the tranquil night, two meteors streaked across the sky, their brilliance exceptionally beautiful! 0

... 0

Meanwhile, on Pirate Planet after Jufeng's departure, Blaze had already been extinguished. The exhausted pirate members returned to their quarters in a state of shock. Fortunately or unfortunately, they only knew that someone had set off bombs but had no idea where the enemy was located. The planet was too vast for a thorough search; fear gripped Pirate Planet as fatigue prevented any immediate outburst. 0

Inside a four-story building, in a spacious hall, Pirate Boss had his leg wound bandaged. Due to blood loss or mental distress, his face appeared unusually pale. He looked unwell, a cigarette dangling from his lips as he inhaled cautiously. In one corner of the sofa lay a woman who had previously shared intimate moments with him; she curled up, sobbing softly, her delicate face marked by a bright red handprint that was slightly swollen. 0

Pirate Boss's anger was still simmering as he glared at the woman with a fierce expression. "You ungrateful wench! I provide for you and you betray me? I swear I could kill you right now!" 0

The woman cowered in the corner, crying. It seemed that being struck by him gave her a sense of justification. She suddenly roared back defiantly, "You heartless man! I did it for our child! You let your people corner us with knives on our bed! If I didn’t find a way to survive, we’d both be dead—who would take care of our child then? Your worthless Brothers? Boohoo..." 0

As she spoke, her voice broke into sobs, appearing deeply wronged and evoking sympathy from anyone who might witness her plight. 0

A middle-aged man nearby, who had been hunched over, felt the tension rise as he wiped sweat from his brow with a handkerchief that had become damp from continuous use throughout the night until dawn approached. 0

The man seemed to have hit a soft spot; he merely snorted coldly and ceased to engage with the woman over their grievances. Years ago, he had been an unknown figure while she was a wealthy lady; later, she resolutely severed ties with her family to be with him and eloped. After more than a decade of wandering from place to place and ultimately falling into piracy, she had never complained. However, tonight's events were too harrowing for either of them to maintain their composure. 0

Fortunately, Jufeng lingered with a glimmer of goodwill, though he was uncertain whether good intentions would yield good results. 0

The man suddenly grew restless, taking several deep puffs of smoke until he coughed and had to stop. He then turned to his strategist, discussing what their next move should be. 0

"Old Horse, is that person reliable? Should we retreat or send a warning?" 0

The middle-aged man known as Old Horse quickly replied, "Boss, I believe that person... is definitely not a police officer." 0

Upon hearing this, the man did not say much. He had risen to become the leader of this planet with nothing to his name, so his mind was certainly not dull. He immediately thought of Jufeng's shortcomings; a police officer leading a child around on an investigation—either the police were insane or he was. Poor Jufeng thought his perfect lie could withstand even the slightest scrutiny from a true veteran of the underworld. 0

Seeing that Pirate Boss did not interrupt him, Old Horse let out a sigh of relief and continued, "Then the next question is simple. Since he is not a police officer, he must not be a good person or someone who follows the rules. From what you described, he should be someone from Zongheng Express Company. If Azure Dragon Monk wants to deal with him, he would sense danger immediately and trace it back to us. It seems he came alone, which indicates that his strength is also unfathomable. So I think we have three options." 0

"First, we can quietly escape and abandon everything we've built over the years, starting from scratch. After all, neither side is something we can provoke. As long as we have our lives, we can always make a comeback." 0

The man continued smoking, remaining expressionless; clearly, he was not satisfied with this suggestion. After so many years of hard work, who would willingly give it up? A woman nearby suddenly lifted her head as if to speak but opened her mouth only to fall silent again, eventually lowering her head once more. 0

At this point, Old Horse's handkerchief was already soaked through, so he simply put it away and wiped his forehead with his sleeve before continuing, "Second, we could report him to Azure Dragon Monk. However, given his vengeful nature, our future days would likely be difficult. He won't remember your act of informing him; instead, he'll remember your betrayal. This would label us as traitors in his eyes, and we certainly wouldn't benefit from that. Moreover, if Azure Dragon Monk were to fail, our fate would be even worse." 0

Having finished one cigarette, the man spat out the butt with force and said in a deep voice, "What's the last option?" 0

"The last option is to help this Express Delivery person. From my guess, this individual must have gone into Azure Dragon Monk's lair with one or two companions. However, due to his arrogant nature and lack of understanding about Azure Dragon Monk, he might end up suffering losses. As the saying goes, adding flowers to something already beautiful cannot compare to providing timely assistance in times of need. If he refrains from killing you, it shows he is a principled person. If we can help him out a bit now, he will surely repay us many times over in the future. Even if we fail, we can still escape and start over again. The greater the risk taken, the greater the potential success—what do you think, Boss?" 0

The man's gaze fell as he weighed the pros and cons in silence. After a while, he seemed to make up his mind and declared firmly, "Let's take the risk! Prepare some words to reassure our brothers. You take a few trusted ones to see the monk while I hold down the fort here at home. After all these years of struggle, I refuse to believe that luck will never be on my side!" 0

The middle-aged man accepted the order with pleasure and, just as he was about to leave, he caught sight of a figure and quickly bowed in greeting before hurrying out. 0

The figure that appeared was a young boy with delicate skin and a handsome face. His small, bright eyes were clear and sparkling. He stared blankly at his parents in the room, lost in his own thoughts. 0
