When Jufeng called Bill, it was just the time when Spring Moon was approaching. After waking up from a deep sleep, results had already come in from Bill's side. 0

Jufeng tiptoed out of the bedroom, glancing back at the still-sleeping Lu Qijia before feeling reassured enough to walk into the kitchen and pour himself a cup of warm water. 0

Taking a sip from the cup, he relieved his rather dry throat and said, slightly hoarsely, "Your speed is quite impressive. The investigation results can wait; first, what has Hidden Hall developed into now?" 0

Upon hearing that his boss wanted to check on his work progress, Bill on the other end of the line quickly became serious and replied, "Brother Jufeng, Hidden Hall currently has one hundred and twenty members. We have already established networks in Northeast China, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-Shandong, and the grasslands. They are infiltrating major cities under various identities, gathering information through connections, inquiries, and transactions. Our next plan is to adopt a strategy of bringing in people; once we identify suitable candidates, we will mobilize them to join Hidden Hall. After this matter in the business world concludes, I will head to the Northwest while Wade will go South. We expect to cover the entire country within about a month." 0

Bill's capabilities were indeed formidable; he deserved the reputation he had built from scratch in the interstellar realm. Even Jufeng, who had been particularly strict with his subordinates lately, found no faults in him. Naturally, if things were going well, there was no need to nitpick. 0

"It seems that handing Hidden Hall over to you was a wise decision," Jufeng praised before steering Bill back to business. 0

"Brother Jufeng, both Equivor and Incor have their Huazone branches in the capital, each belonging to different commercial centers. The head of Equivor's Huazone is named Matthew; he is a Chinese-Dutch who grew up abroad. The head of Incor's Huazone is Claudia, a genuine American. Originally, these two branches had no interaction, but as you instructed me to investigate further, I indeed found some clues." 0

Upon hearing that there were leads, Jufeng tightened his grip on the phone as Bill continued. 0

"As you mentioned, Brother Jufeng, both companies are agents for Huankezhao. They were previously competitors; however, for some unknown reason recently, they have formed a cooperative alliance that complements each other's products. Now you can buy each other's products anywhere instead of having to go to one specific company like before. Moreover, they are significantly reducing prices, which has led to our products being unsold. Even more suspiciously, both companies have been closely collaborating with several firms under the Unification Alliance recently and have reached strategic cooperation agreements." 0

Hearing that there was also involvement from the Unification Alliance made Jufeng frown. 0

Mu Zhongde was cunning and adept at using unconventional tactics; however, those were all matters related to the Underworld. Although he had previously ventured into economic affairs—like his father's death—those ultimately involved dark methods; purely commercial maneuvers were likely beyond his capabilities. 0

What did this alliance between these two companies and the Unification Alliance signify? Perhaps Mu Zhongde truly intended to cut off his supplies? 0

Jufeng felt that Bill's use of the word "suspicious" was quite appropriate; unusual occurrences often hinted at something sinister. He just didn't know where Mu Zhongde had placed this "sinister" element. 0

After a moment of silence, Jufeng spoke again: "Bill, I know you understand some business matters as well. What do you think we should do to resolve this current crisis?" 0

This is not a test, just a casual chat between brothers. Bill had been thinking about this for a long time, so he responded smoothly. 0

"Brother Jufeng, I believe that regardless of their motives, we cannot engage in a hard fight. Our stocks have dropped significantly, and dragging this out will inevitably affect consumer confidence in us. I think the Senior Management in the company should address this, and I would like to add that we might as well leverage the government's power." 0

"The government's power?" Jufeng repeated those five words. 0

"Yes," Bill explained. "These two companies have drastically cut their prices, clearly deviating from the healthy competition rules of a fully market-driven environment. Huaguo is the largest consumer market in the world, with numerous regulations; we can easily find a couple of relevant ones to throw them into chaos. While the government cannot impose direct intervention, it can guide public opinion. After all, we are a local company. Brother Jufeng, if you could take some action on this matter, it might just work." 0

Jufeng weighed the feasibility of this idea in his mind and smiled after a moment, praising Bill on the other end of the line: "I never expected you to be such a gem that shines brighter with each challenge. I will keep this in mind. For now, we need to continue monitoring these two companies. Additionally, we should strive to understand the situation in the Northwest as soon as possible. We have been passively taking hits; once we handle some trivial matters, I plan to visit the Unification Alliance's headquarters. Thank you for your hard work." 0

"Brother Jufeng, there's no need for such formalities. Since we chose to follow you, we are wholeheartedly committed to doing our jobs well; there’s no hardship in that. Brother Jufeng, there’s one more thing I need to report: According to our brothers from Dragon Province, Blue Cat from Blaze Axe Gang has come to Huaguo." 0

"Oh?" Jufeng's tone brightened; he hadn't expected her arrival to be so soon and that she was indeed "leading the charge." 0

"How many people did they bring? Why haven't I heard from A-Zheng?" 0

"It’s not Blaze Axe Gang; it seems it's just Blue Cat herself, accompanied only by Bear Guard for protection. It seems… more like a sightseeing trip." 0

"Sightseeing?" Jufeng's tone rose again; he was surprised but couldn't help but chuckle. "Interesting… In that case, there's no need to worry about her. As long as there are no signs of invasion from Blazing Axe, let the brothers not focus their thoughts on her." 0

"Understood." Bill agreed and then hung up. 0

Jufeng held the phone for a moment before dialing another number. When the call connected, a rich voice came through from the other end. 0

"Brother Feng, disturbing my sweet dreams so early—do you have something urgent?" 0

"Colonel Party, what do you mean? Can't I call just to wish you good morning?" 0

As the spring sun grew warmer, Lu Qijia lazily opened her eyes and looked at the man still sleeping beside her, a smile unconsciously spreading across her face. The scenery inside and outside the room was truly enchanting. 0

After breakfast, Jufeng and Lu Qijia sat in the dining room when Lu Qijia suddenly brought up a topic that warmed Romain's heart. 0

"Wind, I talked to my dad about your company. He also heard about it from Uncle Jiang and will do his best to help us. I can't assist you in any other way, so I had to ask Dad for help. You... won't blame me, will you?" 0

Romain pulled his lover closer, gently rubbing his stubble against the side of her forehead, and said affectionately, "With such a capable wife, I couldn't be happier. How could I possibly blame you?" 0

The morning sun blazed like fire, filling the world with happiness. 0
