Liu Gulang hurried back to the front lines, the dust of the journey still clinging to him, as he had just received some serious results.
"Oh? Is that the kind of Crystal used for developing battleship hulls?"
Upon hearing Liu Gulang's report, Jufeng realized the gravity of the situation. The mineral resources for battleship hulls held immense strategic value and were typically only accessible to the United Nations or various nations. Even commercial empires like Huankezhao were not permitted to explore these resources without authorization. Now, with the Terrorists targeting such valuable assets, their malicious intentions were glaringly obvious.
Liu Gulang nodded solemnly. "That's right. Our joint laboratory with Jinhai Industries has made significant progress in developing battleship hulls, and we can confirm that this Crystal is indeed a raw material for constructing Battleships or mecha exteriors."
Jufeng fell silent. If what Liu Gulang said was true, then there would be catastrophic consequences for the entire Cosmos.
"If they move quickly, they might already have an independent Arms Factory."
Jufeng murmured, understanding that this issue was no longer just about one person or one nation; it concerned the entire universe and could not be delayed.
"Lone Wolf, you should rest here for a moment. I need to inform Gong Changsheng about this. If I wait too long, something major might happen." At this point, Jufeng suddenly thought of something and couldn't help but chuckle.
"Pirates are learning to rob; they've turned into Transform scholars."
With Liu Gulang's test results in hand and the Crystal he had found, Jufeng rushed to the Military Administration Building to explain everything to Gong Changsheng.
Gong Changsheng was a military strategist and also a politician. Upon hearing Jufeng's discovery, his shock far surpassed Jufeng's own reaction as he almost instantly grabbed Jufeng by the collar.
This delay was due to Jufeng's personal interests, and he thought Gong Changsheng was blaming him. Just as he was about to lower his stance and admit his mistake, he saw Steward release his grip on Jufeng's collar and murmur, "Brother Jufeng, your discovery came at just the right time. This information is crucial—extremely important. I need to return to headquarters immediately to report this in person."
Jufeng felt a weight lift from his heart as he discreetly exhaled to ease his inner turmoil. He then said, "Steward, if there's anything you need my help with, just let me know."
Before Jufeng could leave the Military Administration Building, Gong Changsheng had already boarded a craft and departed from the base, heading back to headquarters.
In the lush green area in front of the Military Administration Building, Jufeng stood side by side with Vera as they watched Gong Changsheng leave. It wasn't until the vast blue sky was completely clear of any discord that Vera quietly asked,
"Are you planning to pity people and become their savior?"
Jufeng chuckled lightly and replied, "Isn't that what you prefer about me?"
Vera turned her head away, refusing to look at Jufeng's cynical demeanor. She knew his intentions were not what they seemed; he was after something else entirely.
Inside the Military Administration Building, Vera could tell that Jufeng was determined to see this matter through to the end. Yet, this was clearly a military issue, one that had little to do with their dealings in the Underworld, and it seemed reckless to risk themselves for a thankless task.
Vera understood that Jufeng had made up his mind, but she remained puzzled. The more she interacted with him, the less she felt she could see through this man.
Lost in thought, Vera felt Jufeng brush past her shoulder as he left, his hands still clasped behind his head. He casually remarked something that sent a chill down her spine.
"Don't try to see through me, or you'll only end up falling in love."

Gong Changsheng returned to headquarters, knowing it would take at least a day or two to bring back any news. Not only did he need to verify Jufeng's test results, but he also had to integrate intelligence from other planets on the front lines, taking a broader perspective into account.
The organization was too complex, with departments divided into overly detailed functions, which inevitably lowered efficiency. This was an unavoidable issue; thus, the push for streamlining operations had been ongoing but seemed endless.
So during the remaining time, Jufeng mostly spent it chatting with Hua Cheng and his group of soldiers, enjoying their camaraderie.
After resting for half a day, Liu Gulang was sent back by Jufeng. The infiltration plan led by Jiang Xue was progressing smoothly, and the development paths of several other sisters were also on track. Jufeng instructed Liu Gulang to return and oversee things so he could be contacted if anything arose.
On the third day after Liu Gulang left, Huankezhao returned with the Hurricane Mecha customized for Jufeng, arriving even before Gong Changsheng.
It was undeniable that Huankezhao's capabilities were formidable; within just three or four hours, a unique mech had been manufactured. This was akin to Strange Tales of the Square Night in other manufacturing sectors—unless one sold everything they had and poured all their resources into it. Jinhai Industries could only watch in awe.
The Hurricane Mecha was designed according to Jufeng's specifications; its appearance was almost identical to Vera's—white with no special markings, resembling a privately sold item from a street market. However, its interior was completely different from ordinary mechs. The high-damage Shell was not installed because Jufeng firmly believed that mechs should serve as modern battlefield replicas of Special Forces. While some military theorists argued for a complete focus on Turret development for mechs, Jufeng thought they were misguided. According to their logic, it wouldn't be long before mechs lost their unique value.
If mechs lacked agility, they might as well be replaced by Fighter Jets.
To help Jufeng adapt to the new mech, Vera engaged in several sparring sessions with him in desolate areas of the planet. Naturally, they were observed by Hua Cheng and his team, who held a favorable view of Jufeng.
After several rounds of combat, both Jufeng and Vera showcased their Crimson Rank prowess once again, leaving everyone astonished. This wasn't mere showboating; they gained invaluable insights during the observation process!
Under the guidance of Jufeng, Chen Long made significant progress in martial arts, and he became increasingly adept at operating the mecha. It was evident that he was on the verge of surpassing Azure Rank and reaching Azure Level, which made the other Brothers envious. However, not everyone had a foundation in martial arts; while it wasn't too late for adults to learn, it was rare to see substantial gains.
Passing the time often dulled one's spirit, but the Ironclad Troops maintained strict discipline. Even though the Terrorists had quieted down recently, they continued their patrols with unwavering diligence. During his free time, Jufeng would also take the mecha out for a spin.
The vast plains, filled with pits and hollows, still told tales of past glories despite the passage of time. The hurricane and Ghost Blue Cat flew overhead, unwilling to linger, speeding toward the mountains in the distance.
These mountains were where the Azure Dragon Monk had departed, leading Jufeng to speculate that the Crystal mineral resources lay hidden within them. Reflecting on it now, it was clear why those Terrorists on the plains had fought so desperately; they must have sensed something unusual about the mountains that prompted the Ironclad Troops to investigate. They had to divert attention and sacrifice themselves to buy time for Azure Dragon Monk and his companions.
Even fifty mechas couldn't carry too many Crystal resources, so it was likely that Azure Dragon Monk's ultimate goal was still in the exploration phase, meaning there was a possibility of the Terrorists making a comeback. The mountains were vast, and one could only imagine how tempting the Crystal resources within them were.
As Jufeng and Vera were casually searching around, they suddenly heard the sound of mechas approaching from a distance. Looking up, they saw Hua Cheng arriving with a dozen mechas and two aircraft.
