The sudden arrival of the Cosmic Police turned the mining area into a state of alarm. 0

Gunfire echoed through the mountains, reverberating back and forth, creating an atmosphere where it seemed like enemies were everywhere, with no safe corner in sight. 0

Jufeng rushed home, pushing the door open, only to find Vera methodically organizing clothes and packing items. 0

Seeing this, Jufeng couldn't help but chuckle, though he was laughing at himself. After spending some time among the Terrorists, he had unconsciously started to feel like one of them, and a sense of nervousness crept in. 0

He looked at Vera and smiled, "You seem quite composed. While we are in a panic trying to escape, you shouldn't be taking the time to organize your belongings. Doesn't that raise suspicion?" 0

Vera lifted her chin slightly and looked at Jufeng with disdain, making him feel uncomfortable. She then replied slowly, "As a poor man's wife, I must know how to manage my life. These clothes are as important to me as life itself; how could I easily abandon them?" 0

Upon hearing this, Jufeng pondered for a moment and realized she had a point. Although Vera was organizing things, her actions had made the clothes a chaotic mess. She had even torn off one of the suitcase handles while being thorough and seamless in her work. He had indeed overthought it. 0

Once Vera finished tidying up, she tousled her hair that she had neatly arranged that morning and left the room with Jufeng. 0

The mining area was now in chaos, filled with running figures. The Cosmic Police couldn't distinguish between Terrorists and innocent workers, so they had to control the situation on a large scale. Those who resisted took cover and began exchanging fire with the Cosmic Police. 0

It was clear that this time the Cosmic Police were primarily composed of Landing Troops. Given the mixed personnel in the mines—beyond just Terrorists and mining workers—there were also those responsible for food, technical demolitions, and various other roles. Therefore, deploying mechs or large-scale destructive forces was not an option, let alone starship troops. 0

This provided an opportunity for the Terrorists to escape. 0

Jufeng and Vera fled together, first reaching Ning Pangzi's location. Then the three of them sought out Hua Cheng and others. Everyone understood the situation well enough to prepare quickly; soon they were all gathered and headed towards Yang Fang's designated location. 0

They took obscure paths along the way and fortunately encountered few Cosmic Police. Even when they did come across one or two, Jufeng easily dealt with them using Illusion. It wasn't suitable for large-scale gunfire at this moment; otherwise, they would attract more Cosmic Police and find it hard to escape. 0

To protect their secrets and ensure everyone's concealment was safe and thorough, it had been arranged beforehand that the Cosmic Police would not know about their undercover presence here; everything appeared genuine and credible. Thus, the Cosmic Police would show no mercy. 0

Hua Cheng and his group witnessed Jufeng using Illusion for the first time. They saw a butterfly fluttering gracefully before landing right in front of a Cosmic Police officer. The officer became bewildered and allowed them to leave without resistance. In that moment, everyone admired Jufeng's abilities even more. 0

Ning Pangzi shouted loudly, "Brother Jufeng, is this magic? It's incredible! Can you teach me?" 0

While urging everyone to run faster, Jufeng replied irritably to Ning Xin, "You probably can't do it; you're too heavy for the butterfly to lift." 0

Ning Pangzi felt a wave of internal injury wash over him. 0

After winding through several mountain ridges, they finally arrived at the southern gathering point of Yang Fang. From a distance, two aircraft could be seen docked. 0

Jufeng felt a surge of fear. He had been in this mining area for over a month and had kept a close watch, yet he had never noticed these two aircraft. It seemed that the Terrorists still held some reservations about him. 0

It appeared that he would have to make some sacrifices to earn their complete trust! 0

The aircraft had already powered up, but the group could not leave just yet. Not far behind the rocky hills, the Cosmic Police had discovered their location and were continuously firing, making it impossible for Yang Fang and his companions to reach the aircraft that was so close yet out of reach. 0

Jufeng led his group quietly to where Yang Fang's team was located. There were more than thirty people, occupying half of the Terrorist's mining area. 0

When Yang Fang saw Jufeng and the others arrive, his eyes lit up with joy, but then immediately turned to concern. 0

"Yang Ge, are we going to be stuck here?" Jufeng asked anxiously as he looked at the aircraft a hundred meters away. 0

Yang Fang slammed his fist against the rock wall in frustration and said angrily, "These cops showed up at the worst time! They got here just before us, and their firepower is too dense. We need a fast brother to go over to that hill on the side and plant a bomb. Only by blasting the rocks can we have a chance to escape." 0

Yang Fang pointed to a high ground nearby. If they placed the bomb there and shattered the rocks, it could block the Cosmic Police behind them, giving them a chance to leave. 0

However, even with less than twenty meters to cover, no one was willing to go. Once they left cover, they would be completely exposed to the Cosmic Police's gunfire; one misstep could mean death. 0

But if they delayed too long, more and more Cosmic Police would arrive, making it even harder to escape. 0

Jufeng pondered the situation before him. If they couldn't leave, their mission would end here, rendering all their efforts futile. And since Yang Fang did not yet have absolute trust in him, perhaps he should give him another strong incentive. 0

"Yang Ge, give me the explosives. I'll go." 0

Upon hearing Jufeng's brave offer, Yang Fang froze for a moment before solemnly replying, "Feng, if you can make it back alive, I will ensure your status is equal to mine." 0

Jufeng chuckled lightly and said, "Thank you, Yang Ge." 0

Jufeng took the bomb and was about to rise when he suddenly felt a tug at his collar. Turning around, he saw that Vera had grasped the corner of his clothing. 0

She looked at Jufeng with concern but did not say a word, just as she usually did with her reserved demeanor. However, those around them could see the deep affection in her gaze. 0

Yet, they were mistaken. Vera fully believed that Jufeng could accomplish this task; the twenty-meter distance posed no challenge for him, as he had dozens of ways to overcome it. Her display of immense worry was merely to fulfill her role in the moment. But soon after, she regretted it. 0

Jufeng gazed at Vera, and while others saw deep emotion, Vera noticed a hint of triumph hidden beneath it. 0

A chill ran through Vera as she realized something was amiss, but unfortunately, her awakening came too late. 0

Jufeng's lips brushed against her cheek. 0

Her heart stopped, and she felt a rush of warmth. 0

"Don't worry, I'll come back alive. Wait for me." 0

With that, Jufeng turned gracefully and resolutely leaped onto the ground. 0

0

The Cosmic Police saw someone recklessly charging toward them from the side and immediately unleashed their firepower on Jufeng without hesitation. 0

At ten meters, Jufeng's left shoulder jerked back as blood splattered out. 0

At fifteen meters, his right shoulder recoiled as a second spray of blood flew into the air. 0

At twenty meters, Jufeng stumbled forward but used his momentum to ascend the high ground. 0

A third spray of blood fell onto the green rocks. 0

Five seconds later, there was a deafening explosion as a massive boulder on the side of the Cosmic Police shattered in half, sending countless large fragments crashing down upon them. 0

They quickly dodged backward, waiting until the dust settled before swiftly crossing the pile of rubble to assess the situation ahead. 0

Unfortunately, the two aircraft had already begun to roar, and there was no sign of the Terrorists on the ground. 0

The Cosmic Police, who had expected to complete their mission, frantically vented their anger at the aircraft. However, due to the different materials, their bullets could not penetrate the aircraft's hull. 0

A few seconds later, the two aircraft suddenly took off and soared into the sky. Following closely behind were a dozen Fighter Jets from the Landing Troops. 0

Regrettably, Fighter Jets were ultimately weapons of the planet, and after a brief chase, they could only helplessly watch as the aircraft disappeared into the distance. 0

Thus, the Cosmic Police's mission came to an end. From the final outcome, allowing dozens of Terrorists to escape could hardly be considered a success. 0

However, it was a true success in another sense. 0
