Chen Tan Hua was Yang Chou's most trusted subordinate, yet even so, he remained cautious about sending anyone out on errands. For Jufeng to slip away unnoticed was nearly impossible, as it was not just Chen Tan Hua's affair; many brothers would accompany him.
However, with his silver tongue, Chen Tan Hua managed to concoct a reason to test Jufeng, which reluctantly persuaded Yang Chou.
"This trip will likely take three days, and there should be four or five people keeping a close watch on you in shifts. As for whether you can relay any messages, that depends on you."
The night before their departure, Chen Tan Hua found Jufeng on the rooftop of their dormitory, sharing his insights and the precautions Romain needed to take.
Jufeng expressed his gratitude, saying, "This is more than enough. I believe a few people shouldn't be too much trouble for me. Thank you."
Chen Tan Hua shrugged and began to walk downstairs, waving his hand dismissively. "You don't need to thank me; I'm doing this for my own sake. Just make sure you fulfill your promise and let Yang Chou witness the collapse of his grand ambitions before I personally send him off."
As Chen Tan Hua's voice faded into the wind with his disappearing figure, Jufeng did not turn back or look around. His unkempt hair and loose clothing danced in the breeze.
The next morning, Jufeng quietly left the planet with Chen Tan Hua and the others. It wasn't exactly a glorious affair, so the low-ranking Terrorists were naturally unaware of their departure.
After a long day of travel, they finally arrived at a sparsely populated planet that had not seen much conflict. It appeared that the Terrorists had not yet made their mark here; however, many shops in the big city were closed as a precautionary measure.
Under Chen Tan Hua's lead, the group remained taciturn, with Jufeng being the most talkative among them. This was a tactic; since they were watching him, there was no need to create a tense atmosphere—winning amidst chaos was the key.
When they arrived early in the day, they hastily found a hotel to settle down in. Some matters could only be addressed at night, especially those involving male prostitutes and female thieves.
Despite the turmoil of war, the city's nightlife remained largely unaffected; neon lights flickered amidst the vibrant atmosphere. After waking from a refreshing sleep, Jufeng appeared invigorated, leaving Chen Tan Hua momentarily stunned.
Chen Tan Hua chuckled and remarked, "You seem quite carefree; you still have time for a nap while out on business?"
Jufeng laughed lightly but maintained a respectful demeanor in front of others. "Brother Chen is joking. I consider this trip as an opportunity for leisure granted by Yang the Boss. I'm here with a vacation mindset, unlike you brothers who have tasks at hand and can't sleep soundly."
When Jufeng emphasized the word "tasks," those nearby—including Chen Tan Hua—understood its implications, though their feelings about it varied significantly.
Chen Tan Hua maintained a breeze-like smile, though it was silent. The others exchanged glances, their expressions slightly awkward.
A single ripple would not change much due to Jufeng's half-smiling joke; supervision still needed to be enforced, and solutions still had to be sought.
The group arrived at a dim alley, led by a subordinate who was clearly familiar with the place. Winding Path to Tranquility, at the end of the alley stood a damp iron gate. Once inside, the scene was vastly different from the outside, as if entering another world.
The yellowish-red lights scattered their glow across the spacious area, while wisps of milky white smoke slowly rose in the warm light, gradually enveloping the not-so-high ceiling.
Beneath the ambiguous atmosphere was a large group of elegantly diverse women, dressed and adorned in various styles, their ages equally varied. It seemed as if all forms of women from the vast world had ultimately converged here, yet such a strong visual impact could hardly withstand further scrutiny or contemplation.
Upon seeing outsiders enter, dozens of eyes shot towards them like ghosts in a dense forest. Jufeng had never experienced such treatment before and felt hesitant to gaze freely among the crowd of beauties.
However, the others were unfazed as they walked through, continuously greeting and teasing the nearby women, who reciprocated with flirtation and charm.
If there truly existed a paradise of beauty and tenderness in this world, this place would undoubtedly be its most fitting representation.
In the short distance from the entrance to the interior, just over ten meters, Jufeng endured no less than ten "gentle touches." The sensation was indeed somewhat... enjoyable amidst the torment!
Jufeng felt goosebumps rising all over him. After finally making it to the inner room and meeting the Boss there to discuss business in a more private setting, his mood gradually returned to calm.
Beside him, he overheard Chen Tan Hua's conversation with a man that went roughly as follows.
The Boss was a rather sleazy middle-aged man lounging on a sofa in a private room, flanked by two young women giving him massages. He glanced at Chen Tan Hua and, after hearing his introduction, slowly lifted his previously lowered head.
"Oh, it's Yang the Boss! I remember you; you're an old customer here. How have you been? These days, those terrorists outside are quite rampant; business is tough."
From this remark, Jufeng gathered that the man opposite him was clearly unaware that Yang Chou had already become a terrorist. Yet his indifferent demeanor suggested he held little respect for Yang Chou. It was worth noting that even before turning to crime, Yang Chou wielded significant power; anyone who could disregard such a warlord must be quite formidable themselves.
Chen Tan Hua smiled lightly and said, "Thanks to you, I'm managing to get by. I've been under a lot of pressure lately, so I thought I'd come and support your business!"
The Boss grinned lewdly and replied, "Alright, same old rules—order first, then pay."
With that, the Boss snapped his fingers, and a middle-aged woman entered from outside. She led Jufeng and his group to another room, where they settled onto a sofa. Soon after, a stream of women began to appear before them, as if they were walking in a parade.
The first to appear was a girl dressed in a white princess gown. She was beautiful with fair skin; however, she was directly passed over by the one responsible for taking orders, leaving her face flushed with embarrassment.
Jufeng was surprised. Given the nature of this transaction, such high-quality girls should be quite popular! So why was she overlooked? Chen Tan Hua noticed Jufeng's puzzled expression. To clarify Romain's confusion and to avoid future trouble, he said to the middle-aged woman, "We don't need any more girls like her. Our Boss prefers sexy and mature ones; it saves everyone the hassle."
The woman nodded in agreement and went out to make arrangements. Sure enough, the girls who appeared afterward were all from the dark-themed collection.
