"You see, I am Nine Worms, why bother hiding? In the end, it will still be seen by others!"
Jufeng looked at the tattoo on Shi Jin's chest. To be honest, it was somewhat aesthetically pleasing. However, for Jufeng, no matter how beautiful something was, if it belonged to the opposing side, it would be labeled as ugly. Ultimately, whether it was a dragon or a worm didn't matter much; what mattered most was the context and whose body it adorned.
Shi Jin stood bare-chested, appearing quite conspicuous in the night breeze. If an ignorant and lewd person were to pass by again and see hundreds surrounding a naked man, they might conjure all sorts of thoughts.
As soon as Jufeng finished speaking, Azure Wind Antelope burst into laughter at just the right moment, showing no awareness of being surrounded by the crowd. The laughter was heart-wrenching; even if it was pretentious, the result was effective—the morale of the United Heart Association took a significant hit.
A few butterflies fluttered about; the enemy had yet to make a move. Their leader was still several dozen meters away, merely stepping down from the car roof. Yet, they could effortlessly tear apart their battle attire. This was a severe blow to the confidence of the United Heart Association.
Shi Jin's expression turned cold as he felt genuinely insulted by Jufeng. It completely caught him off guard. He looked at the scattered pieces of clothing on the ground, his arms gradually showing signs of tension.
"Is this amusing to you? Do you really think that by provoking me, you can make your escape?"
Shi Jin took a few steps forward, gripping his Steel Blade tightly once more. He glared at Jufeng, a faint aura of violence emanating from him.
"This is indeed my oversight; I didn't expect you to have such tricks up your sleeve. I heard earlier that you killed members of the Yamamoto Clan. Now it seems you not only excel at killing but also possess good learning abilities. But what does that mean?"
"This place has at least ten times your strength. Even if the so-called Saint Envoy and Religious Sacrificial Site were to arrive, I could still fight them off. Do you think your hastily trained Nonsense Azure Wind Antelope can act arrogantly here?"
"They're just a bunch of sharpened scrap metal in my eyes; scrap metal will always remain scrap metal."
The butterflies not only tore apart Shi Jin's clothing but also stripped away the flimsy facade he wore on his face. All that calm demeanor and superior air were merely acts; now he had lost not only his momentum but also began to slide in terms of character.
Jufeng was momentarily taken aback but soon began shaking his head. He now found this situation not just interesting but rather amusing.
The Holy Judgment Council, Religious Sacrificial Site. How could Shi Jin shamelessly boast? He probably wouldn’t even touch a hair on their bodies. If they truly arrived, there would be no time for such nonsense; hundreds would sweep through like it was nothing!
Jufeng pondered for a moment, concluding that this matter could only be attributed to the fearless ignorance of those involved. The chaos within the United Heart Association was, after all, merely child's play compared to the fierce battles between hurricanes and the Unification Alliance.
Currently, groups like the Hua Gang and the hurricane, along with the Giant Wolf Gang on the grasslands and the Unification Alliance, were all gangs forged in the fires of war. However, the recent growth of the United Heart Association seemed to carry an air of conspiracy. First, Guan Bochao killed his own brother, and then by a twist of fate, Shi Yushu rose to power. These events appeared dark and sinister, lacking the blood-soaked intensity one would expect.
Thus, the United Heart Association had become what it was—nothing more than that.
Now that the mask had been removed, Jufeng suddenly lost interest in continuing the conversation. Speaking was meant for people, yet Shi Jin no longer held any intrigue for him.
Of course, he still felt it necessary to deliver his final words.
"I truly don't know how to converse with someone like you. I can only hope that when you reach another place, you can reflect properly—your understanding of this world is still at a childish stage. It's truly regrettable."
With that, Jufeng finished speaking. Ignoring Shi Jin's reaction, he grasped his Tachi and strode into the crowd.
One person, one blade, charging into the vast ocean.
Tong Bailong led the Azure Wind Antelope closely behind Jufeng. However, their approach was not chaotic; it was methodical and strategic.
Tong Bailong called out, "Double Dragons Rise from Water, provide cover for Brother Jufeng."
Upon hearing this command, the members of Azure Wind Antelope responded in unison, drawing their Steel Blades as they surged into the sea of people.
The term "Double Dragons Rise from Water" referred to all team members forming a V-shape as they charged into the crowd. Normally, a charging formation would resemble an inverted V; however, due to their coordination with Jufeng, the front needed to leave a wider space to maximize Jufeng's strength.
The battle suddenly commenced under the night breeze. Jufeng entered the throng with his Tachi in hand, moving with an air of casual confidence as several individuals quickly fell before him.
Perhaps angered by Jufeng's presence, Shi Jin did not retreat but instead advanced. Before long, he clashed with Jufeng. In his mind, no matter how formidable Jufeng was, he would not allow himself to be completely defenseless.
After all, he was the War God of the United Heart Association!
However, his understanding was flawed.
Shi Jin attempted to strike cleverly, always waiting for Jufeng to be momentarily vulnerable. It was during those moments that it was difficult for him to change his actions, making it the perfect opportunity for a sneak attack.
Yet, despite several attempts, none were successful. Even though Jufeng reacted slower than him, he always managed to position Tachi in front of Steel Blade before Shi Jin could inflict any harm on himself. In other words, Jufeng's speed was astonishingly fast; when facing Shi Jin, he could turn the tables in an instant.
This realization left Shi Jin in shock. Throughout the rise of the United Heart Association, he had encountered many skilled opponents, but none possessed a speed like Jufeng's. Even surrounded by countless others, if it were just the two of them facing off, he wouldn't have a shred of hope.
Thus, he decided to retreat.
However, Jufeng would not allow him to escape.
At that moment, Tong Bailong led the Azure Wind Antelope and appeared beside him, helping Jufeng eliminate much of the resistance. With some breathing room, Jufeng began to unleash his attacks on Shi Jin.
It was too fast! So fast that Shi Jin had no chance to disengage. Even when fully focused on facing Jufeng, he couldn't keep up, let alone plan a retreat.
If he had embraced a resolve to fight to the death, perhaps there would have been a slim chance for him. However, his distracted mind betrayed him; he did not value his own life.
One slash, two slashes... countless strikes passed...
But ultimately, there was one final blow!
“Pfft!” Shi Jin spat out a mouthful of blood as his body flew backward like a kite with its string cut.
He landed amidst the sea of people from the United Heart Association without causing a ripple.
The chaotic scene suddenly came to a halt as the members of the United Heart Association stared at the fallen Shi Jin, momentarily at a loss for what to do.
Jufeng and Tong Bailong led the Azure Wind Antelope out of the battle circle. On the other side, they looked at the downed Shi Jin, their eyes devoid of any emotion.
"You are truly mistaken. It would be very easy for me to leave. Capture the leader first; you are about to die right now. Who among them would dare to stop me?"
The fight lasted no more than five minutes, and the Azure Wind Antelope suffered no casualties, only sustaining some minor injuries.
Sometimes, having more people doesn't necessarily help.
The stage is that small; how many can perform on it?
