It could be described as turning the world upside down; this was how Zheng Yifan felt, as if he were tumbling endlessly in a washing machine. The sensation was overwhelming, and he couldn't tell if it was due to an upset stomach or something else entirely. The foul, earthy stench from within him made his head spin, and his body surged without any food in sight. He had no idea what he had consumed. 0

But Zheng Yifan knew one thing: he was now someone else's meal. 0

Of course, it was possible that some part of him was indeed food for others. He could only use his Silver Spear to desperately stab into the ground beneath him, trying to anchor himself. However, the outcome was always laughable; there was no way to fix his body in place. Not even a single scar appeared on his skin, which felt as if it were completely soft and unyielding. The tip of his spear couldn't pierce through that supple flesh. 0

It felt like gliding, more akin to riding a skateboard, as his body moved forward involuntarily. He must have been on a slope, but he had lost track of how he was even moving. The enormous body of the earthworm twisted continuously, as if it had already burrowed into the soil; after all, they thrived in the dirt. 0

Corrosive liquid began to seep in around him. Zheng Yifan wasn't sure if he had any gastric juices left, but he could confirm that he had entered a situation from which there was no escape. His body gradually came into contact with those corrosive substances. A small portion of his Power of Faith was severed and isolated; the earthworm's body seemed capable of blocking all forms of Vital Energy, preventing Zheng Yifan from connecting with his followers or receiving their assistance. His Superpower wasn't entirely sealed; just like now, he could use the Silver Spear to strike at the gases in the air, keeping those acidic fumes at bay. 0

However, the air was becoming increasingly thin, filled more with corrosive gases. Zheng Yifan had no idea how long he could hold on. It felt as though his strength was being drained away; that Vital Energy was gradually leaving his body and entering the Giant Earthworm. 0

Zheng Yifan understood that this was the earthworm's method of dealing with its food. They could metabolize their meals into corpses before slowly digesting them. Naturally, they required those acidic gases to dissolve solid materials like stones that they consumed. 0

Yet Zheng Yifan's Superpower allowed him to resist the corrosive gas's erosion, keeping him safe for now. 0

Time passed—he couldn't tell how long it had been—in darkness, one tends to lose track of time and forget everything, even their own existence. As the air thinned further, even a Superpowered Individual couldn't survive without oxygen. This was an utterly inhospitable place. 0

His brain began to produce hallucinations due to lack of oxygen. He saw himself before obtaining the Time-Space Barrier—a regular person, ordinary like a bowl of water with no flavor at all. The Time-Space Barrier felt like a cup of rich coffee that ignited his life. 0

Power—immense power came from the Time-Space Barrier; the initial opportunity stemmed from it as well. 0
Time-Space Barrier. 0

Indeed! The only asset he had left was the Time-Space Barrier. Taking a step forward, he found himself in a place once dominated by a corrosive liquid, the pungent smell overwhelming. His body rolled violently before finally coming to a stop. The entire Giant Earthworm seemed to have reached its destination. It swayed gently a couple of times, much like an ordinary person burping after a hearty meal, then lazily fell asleep. 0

However, this was a disaster for Zheng Yifan. The result of its slumber was a significant enhancement of its digestive capabilities, leading to an overwhelming accumulation of corrosive gas within. The gas was gradually closing in on Zheng Yifan, and the Silver Spear he wielded was losing its strength. His Vital Energy was being absorbed, along with his power—there was no other choice. 0

Yet, Zheng Yifan held onto one final thought: to quickly use the Time-Space Barrier, employing any ability that could facilitate his escape. 0

The functions he utilized most with the Time-Space Barrier were those of Storage Space and teleportation. In this dire situation, it was clear that Storage Space would not yield much effect; even if he conjured up a plethora of machines to induce indigestion in this Fellow, he would still perish. It was better to exit early! 0

However, as he prepared to leave using the Time-Space Barrier, he instinctively left behind all the bombs he had originally set aside for battle in his Storage Space, setting the remote to explode in one minute before collapsing forward. 0

That was the passage of the Time-Space Barrier, still retaining its ancient charm. Once Zheng Yifan entered, he felt himself spinning violently, followed by an immense force attempting to tear him apart. When he finally lifted his head, he realized he was at the outermost edge of the Time-Space Barrier, surrounded by Temporal Turbulence. This place sealed off from the real world was also the most dangerous area; one misstep could lead to death. 0

There were few places to land nearby; typically, one would appear within the confines of the Time-Space Barrier. However, this time, it had crossed through the body of a Treasure Earthworm. This particular species was unique and now, after traversing space, it had become even weaker. 0

So weak that even though Zheng Yifan had crossed time and space into the real world and emerged from the Time-Space Barrier, he found himself in one of the closest points between two worlds. 0

A single step away from entering the Temporal Turbulence. 0

His clothes fluttered lightly with his movements; a corner of his garment drifted into the Temporal Turbulence, instantly shredded without hesitation. The power of his body was completely torn apart by this formidable Temporal Turbulence. Even with his own Vital Energy supporting him, it proved insufficient; only the force of the Temporal Turbulence seemed overwhelmingly powerful—beyond what any living being could withstand. 0

All Zheng Yifan could do was cautiously move forward. Occasionally, fractures appeared in the space ahead; within just a few seconds, there had already been two instances of spatial rifts forming. The force from these rifts obliterated everything in their vicinity. 0

Zheng Yifan couldn't be certain, and he couldn't allow himself to live at a hundred percent. 0

He could only gamble, betting on his ability to rush through. 0

With just a second to spare, the success rate was ninety percent, which was a gamble worth taking. However, there was still a ten percent chance of being torn to shreds by the Temporal Turbulence. 0

With a firm resolve, Zheng Yifan decided to take the risk! In life, if there’s an eighty percent chance of winning, then it’s worth the gamble. Why not take a shot at something that seems almost guaranteed? It was like those moments he recalled when he felt suffocated—moments from before he had gained his powers, when he was most truly himself. (To be continued...) 0
