Fully immersed in the battle, the violent genes within Zheng Yifan erupted once more, radiating a fierce killing intent as he regarded the remaining Zombies like a war god. However, these Zombies were not easy opponents. 0

As Zheng Yifan turned his head, he saw several identical shadows rushing towards him. 0

He dared not underestimate them. Although he had already fought against Zombies, he knew that dealing with one or two was manageable, but when their numbers increased, it became an entirely different story. The sheer strength and attack power of these Zombies were formidable; despite their relatively fragile bodies, Zheng Yifan felt they were nearly indistinguishable from Third-Stage Zombies, only more challenging for ordinary people to handle. 0

What made them most terrifying was their attack power—Zheng Yifan had never encountered anything stronger than them. 0

Even the formidable uncle across the street was no exception. 0

The Zombies before him lacked those powerful techniques; they had only one move: to slash you into pieces with the knives in their hands. 0

There was no other possibility. 0

Faced with such a number of Zombies, Zheng Yifan knew that a single attack would be insufficient to fend them off. However, he felt emboldened by what he had just witnessed—the way those Zombies attacked the Missile. 0

The sky was such an advantageous place to deal with Zombies. 0

With wings flapping behind him, Zheng Yifan's body ascended steadily, slowly reaching a height of over one hundred meters. This was the average height from which the Zombies had jumped to attack the Missile. 0

At this altitude, it seemed to be the limit of their strength because their attack power noticeably diminished when they struck from mid-air. 0

Their attack speed also slowed significantly due to the lack of space for them to swing their weapons. 0

Using his newly acquired wings to soar through the air, Zheng Yifan felt a mix of anxiety and excitement. He was uncertain how long this newfound power would last. Although it felt as if his body had gained an extra part while airborne, he understood that these wings were not his own; he didn't know how long he could use them. If he fell, it would truly be disastrous. 0

Suddenly, a Zombie appeared eager to take him down. It leaped into the air with remarkable speed. 0

Its mantis-like body flew swiftly through the air and in the blink of an eye was right in front of Zheng Yifan. Then its arm blades began to slash wildly, delivering a flurry of blows before it suddenly began to descend as if reaching its limit. 0

A great opportunity! 0

Zheng Yifan waited for that brief moment when the Zombies paused mid-air. It was the only moment of stillness before they would plummet down at an incredible speed. He had no idea where their sudden acceleration came from, but it was undeniably fast. 0

However, that fraction of a second was enough. Before the Zombie could gain speed, Zheng Yifan had already pointed his Silver Spear at its neck and gently flicked it along the spine. 0

In an instant, the head flew into the air while the body continued to descend rapidly. Despite the speed, Zombie Fluid sprayed out like a shower, covering everything below in a gruesome mist. The Zombies below were clearly unprepared for such a situation. As the upper Zombie had not completely died yet, several others leaped up simultaneously. 0

They were trying to catch up with Zheng Yifan. But at that moment, as if receiving some command, their bodies halted mid-air and quickly changed direction to continue their descent. 0

Now those Zombies were only seventy or eighty meters high, still some distance away from Zheng Yifan. He couldn't guarantee he could match their falling speed. 0

Who knew why they were descending so quickly? All Zheng Yifan knew was that complete annihilation was impossible now; these Zombies completely ignored his desire to pursue them. He had to take advantage of this moment and strike. Taking down one was better than none; otherwise, they might be even harder to deal with later. 0

Without a second thought, Zheng Yifan released his Adamantium Shield from his left hand, launching it toward a particularly strong Zombie on his left. That Zombie was robust, but the Adamantium Shield was more than capable of eliminating it. 0

Empowered by Zheng Yifan's Power of Faith, the shield's attack speed reached its peak, surpassing Fourth Stage strength. While it wasn't his strongest attack, it was already the fastest he could muster and sufficient to hit the Zombie. 0

His Silver Spear was not idle either; Zheng Yifan used it as a throwing spear and hurled it forward. 0

The target of this throw was a particularly notable Fellow among the Zombies. Although he couldn't discern what made this Fellow different from the rest, Zheng Yifan instinctively knew that this one was the leader of the group. 0

He couldn't let this opportunity slip away. Normally, even if he kept attacking, facing so many Zombies in mid-air would exhaust him. But now, he had been given a chance to strike. 0

Seizing the moment was something he understood well. 0

The fates of the two strongest Zombies were sealed; their lives would serve as the best gift for Zheng Yifan's recent advancement. 0

In just an instant, the Zombies were dispatched. Zheng Yifan caught the returning Adamantium Shield with his left hand and grabbed the Silver Spear from the ground with his right. With a thought, his wings behind him silently vanished. 0

Zheng Yifan looked back at himself with satisfaction. Behind him, there had originally been a pair of Purple Wings, which had now disappeared. However, he knew he could summon them at any time. Although he didn't understand why, it was enough that he could use them. From now on, he would be the birdman of legend. 0

Dying his wings white, he thought he could occasionally play the role of a messenger. He believed that the beautiful Western girls wouldn't mind sharing a night of unforgettable surprises with a legendary figure. 0

With a hint of daydreaming, Zheng Yifan quietly followed behind. 0

He trailed the Zombies ahead of him, their collective movement seemed as if summoned by something, their speed leaving Zheng Yifan astonished. 0

Seeing their frantic appearance, something significant must have happened. 0

Zheng Yifan's thoughts were correct; the Zombies' movements left traces to follow, and they were constantly aware of the scents around them. 0

Clearly, they were aware of Zheng Yifan trailing behind. They kept glancing back, brandishing their Bone Knives as if to warn him. 0

However, their matters were evidently more important, and they paid no heed to Zheng Yifan as they sped forward. 0

Gradually, Zheng Yifan began to discern their destination—it was near the seaside in Deep City. 0

Something urgent had clearly occurred by the sea. (To be continued) 0
