"Who dares to attack us, the Seven Legion? Are you all ready to throw your lives away? Are you traitors?" The sharp voice echoed in the air, filled with bitterness. 0

A man approached the entrance of the Seven Legion, appearing to be around thirty years old, with a fierce demeanor that made him look like a human beast. 0

Even more terrifying was the blood splattered on his shoes, which continued to flow onto the ground. 0

With a menacing glare at Zheng Yifan and the others floating in mid-air, he began to organize an attack against them. 0

Since missiles couldn't deal with those detestable fellows, they would resort to basic bullets. They had plenty of powerful machine guns and large-caliber artillery. Among the old relics, they even found anti-aircraft guns. More importantly, if there were no guided missiles available, there were still regular missiles. A standard RPG would surely provide a way to eliminate that loathsome fellow. 0

Zheng Yifan and Wang Qi furrowed their brows in mid-air. How could this despicable scum accuse them of being traitors? If anyone was a traitor, it was that fellow down below, who had led thousands of troops to defect. Almost all the isolated warriors had been gathered under his command. Given that many in the unit were young, it was considered a department with a high survival rate, making their combat strength formidable. 0

In the country, there were millions of soldiers; they were just a part of that force. The number of troops was at least in the tens of thousands. Such a massive number brought about an equally large fighting force. 0

Soldiers were commendable. Zheng Yifan had witnessed this countless times during disaster relief efforts when many soldiers sacrificed their lives to save those in need. Just recently, during a major explosion, countless firefighters lost their young lives; they were truly admirable. 0

The warriors below undoubtedly included those brave soldiers. However, they were different; they had an ambitious leader who turned them into weapons for that fellow. 0

They slaughtered their own kin under his command. Many held opposing views and were thus placed under house arrest; only those who supported his war theories remained present. 0

Then they encountered catastrophe. If the deceased had souls, they would likely feel frustrated enough to die again. After all, they sought a better life, yet even when they submitted and followed orders, they still met untimely ends without understanding why. 0

Some even died while merely stepping out to find a restroom. 0

Now their camp was no longer the original military barracks; it was much closer to the city center, having once been a place for detaining corrupt officials. It had simply been repurposed, and the bathrooms were intentionally placed at a distance, purely to create inconvenience for those being held. 0

In fact, there were bathrooms within the rooms, but the problem was that those bathrooms were not connected to the Water Supply Pipeline. It was merely a Facade Project—visually appealing but entirely unusable for the detainees. Who knew what kind of trouble they might stir up? 0

On the contrary, this arrangement posed some issues for them, as it was where real profit lay. These corrupt officials had plenty of money at their disposal. Buying a bottle of water required payment, right? A bottle of mineral water cost money. Meals also cost money; a box lunch was not free. 0

Even using the restroom came with a Cleaning Fee, didn't it? That would require payment too if they had such facilities. Once access to running water was resolved, wouldn’t all that extra income disappear? 0

As for the distant buildings, they were old structures equipped with complete bathroom facilities. They were also occupied by others. This area was guarded by troops, and those officials wielded considerable power. 0

Unfortunately, stationed here now was the Seven Legion, an obscure unit with just over a hundred personnel. However, when the apocalypse struck, among the Survivors, there was one young man who had come here seeking prestige; he held the highest position among them and naturally became their leader. 0

Almost all units had been absorbed under his command. Of course, some troublemakers had left—quite a few—but they could not be stopped nor did they wish to stop them because those individuals possessed sufficient combat capability. 0

Zheng Yifan watched those people with a cruel smile on his lips. He had learned everything about this so-called Seven Legion through Eve because all their operations relied on electronic devices. They trusted in the security of military equipment and only used those tools, which ultimately benefited Zheng Yifan by allowing him to easily guide their information flow. 0

The Company Commander of the Seven Legion was currently in a dire situation. He had begun preparations for a counterattack and had plans to cleanse the city. In their strategy, whenever possible, they aimed to slaughter Zombies while utilizing Trenches to divide their enemies and burn them with gasoline rather than wasting bullets—after all, ammunition was limited while gasoline was abundant in the city. 0

They did not care about the lives of ordinary Survivors; they only cared about seizing control of this city. The number of Survivors would certainly not be small since this was a city of millions. Even if just one-tenth survived, that would still amount to hundreds of thousands. Killing off a few thousand would be sufficient for their needs. They did not require too many idle mouths to feed because they lacked experience in managing territories and their food reserves were not particularly ample. 0

Zheng Yifan even knew their plans; the so-called Trenches were essentially underground passages created by breaking through the ground. They intended to lure Zombies into these Underground Pipelines using live humans who would be slashed multiple times before being placed inside. They wouldn’t need to worry about them; as soon as those individuals caught a whiff of gasoline below, they would panic and run, spreading the scent of blood throughout nearly every pipe until they opened the sewer entrances—the Zombies would then crawl right in. 0

A Sitting Duck effortlessly took down a Zombie, but what about those people? They either bled to death, were eaten by Zombies, or even burned alive. There would be no good ending for them. 0

Zheng Yifan would never allow such a thing to happen. Looking at Wang Qi beside him, he said coldly, "Wang Qi, are you ready to unleash your wrath? Anyone who dares to go against humanity deserves punishment. This is the self-discipline that a Superpowered Individual should possess, as well as the self-restraint expected of a human being." 0

His voice was not loud, yet each word resonated with strength. Every decision could mean life or death for many, and Zheng Yifan was teaching Wang Qi, this newcomer, from the perspective of a seasoned Superpowered Individual. 0

"I'm ready!" Wang Qi replied. (To be continued...) 0
