I took out my phone and saw that it was Yellow-Haired Leopard calling. I answered, asking, "Yellow-Haired Leopard, what's up?" 0

"Master Jiang Ling, I've contacted some friends in the underworld and found out where that sleazy fat guy is hiding!" Yellow-Haired Leopard said excitedly on the other end of the line. "This morning, I heard from a buddy who works as a security guard that he saw that sleazy fat guy at Dragon's Apartment. When we got there, they were just leaving, so we followed them and found their hideout!" 0

Hearing this news, I felt a lot more at ease. Ever since I learned that Wang Xinyu had hired a Western Wizard to deal with me, I had been worried. Those Western Wizards always resorted to underhanded tactics behind the scenes; the only way to truly handle them was to find them and take the initiative. 0

"Yellow-Haired Leopard, send me the address! I'm going to pay them a visit!" I said. 0

Yellow-Haired Leopard paused for a moment before replying, "Master Jiang Ling, after the sleazy fat guy and his companion returned to their hideout, they didn't stay long before heading out again! We're currently following them to see what they're up to! Why don't you sneak into their hideout first? When they come back, I'll let you know!" 0

"Sounds good! Stay alert!" I hung up the phone, my impression of Yellow-Haired Leopard changing; I hadn't expected him to be so thorough in his work. 0

I put my phone back in my pocket and looked at Lin Hanyu in front of me. An idea struck me—he was a formidable ally, comparable to my Ghost Corpse, and a rare find as a henchman. My eyes sparkled with excitement as I stroked my chin and said with a smile, "Lin Hanyu, a thousand bucks is a bit steep, but if you can help me with something, I'll have no problem giving you that money!" 0

Lin Hanyu perked up at the prospect and quickly patted his chest, saying loudly, "Jiang Ling, just tell me what you need me to do!" 0

I nodded and replied, "Lin Hanyu, come with me to the Buddhist Artifact Shop. I'll give you the money and pick up some things while we're at it! As for what I need your help with, I'll explain on the way." 0

On our way there, I briefly recounted my situation with Wang Xinyu. Lin Hanyu understood that I was going after that scumbag Wang Xinyu and readily agreed to help. It seemed everyone in the city still remembered what Wang Xinyu had done. 0

After returning to the Buddhist Artifact Shop, I took out some cash from my suitcase and handed it to Lin Hanyu. Then I stuffed some useful talismans and emergency items into my backpack. 0

Jin Yuan saw me holding the Demon-Subduing Staff in one hand and a Broken Sword in the other while carrying a bulging backpack. She curiously asked, "Jiang Ling, what are you planning to do?" 0

"I have some personal matters to attend to," I casually replied. It wasn't that I didn't trust Jin Yuan; I just didn't want her getting involved in this matter. If I ended up taking down that Western Wizard and their allies came looking for revenge against Jin Yuan, it would put her in danger. 0

I thought for a moment, considering the worst-case scenario, and then forwarded the address that Yellow-Haired Leopard had sent me to Jin Yuan. I said, "Jin Yuan, if I haven't returned by eight tonight, call Chen Sibao and have him bring some men over to find me at this location!" 0

Jin Yuan nodded and replied, "Got it! Jiang Ling, I don't know what you're up to, but be careful and don't get into trouble!" 0

Hearing Jin Yuan's words warmed my heart. I nodded back at Jin Yuan and headed off with Lin Hanyu to find Wang Xinyu's hideout. 0

After more than two hours, it was around three or four in the afternoon. Lin Hanyu and I took a taxi and finally arrived at the outskirts where Wang Xinyu was hiding. 0

As we were about to approach, we were stopped by a security guard at the entrance. He stood in front of us, eyeing us suspiciously and asked sternly, "What are you two doing here? I've never seen you before!" 0

I smiled and said, "Sir, I'm just visiting my relative! My cousin is Wang Xinyu, and he lives inside!" 0

The guard looked at me with suspicion. He pulled out a blue notebook from the table, flipped to the page with Wang Xinyu's information, and asked, "What's Wang Xinyu's phone number? Tell me!" 0

"Uh!" I was completely caught off guard by how diligent the guard was. I was stunned; I had a grudge against Wang Xinyu, so how could he possibly give me his phone number? 0

The guard let out a cold laugh and said, "You two better leave quickly, or I'll call the police!" 0

"Let me handle this! It doesn't have to be so complicated!" Lin Hanyu stepped forward impatiently. An eerie aura emanated from him as his eyes deepened. He locked eyes with the guard, instantly bewildering him. 0

"Sir, just take a good nap. When you wake up, you won't remember anything," Lin Hanyu whispered softly. The guard nodded dazedly and slumped over the table, falling asleep. 0

"Impressive!" I remarked to Lin Hanyu, surprised that bringing him along would yield results so quickly. I picked up the notebook from the guard's hand and skimmed through Wang Xinyu's information until I quickly found out where his house was located. 0

Previously, the Yellow-Haired Leopard had only followed Wang Xinyu to the entrance of the area, unaware of Wang Xinyu's exact residence. Originally, Lin Hanyu and I planned to search house by house, but it seemed that wouldn't be necessary. 0

Following the clues in our notebook, Lin Hanyu and I quickly arrived outside Wang Xinyu's house. I tried pushing the door, and to my surprise, it swung open easily. 0

"I can't believe our luck today! That silly pig, Wang Xinyu, actually forgot to lock the door!" I laughed heartily, holding my talisman as I stepped inside. This was the lair of the Western Wizard, so I couldn't afford to be careless. 0

Lin Hanyu and I searched around the room and soon discovered a wooden door leading to the basement. I glanced at Lin Hanyu and asked uncertainly, "Lin Hanyu, do you feel something strange behind this door?" 0

Lin Hanyu nodded. "I feel it too!" 0

We exchanged glances and approached the wooden door. Since we were already here, we certainly wouldn't be afraid of whatever lay beyond. 0

As we entered the basement, we saw dim yellow lights illuminating the space, and a faint fragrance filled the air—one characteristic of a Human Oil Lamp. 0

I wasn't sure what that scent was, but it made me feel slightly nauseous. I quickly took out a tissue and stuffed it into my nostrils. I looked at Lin Hanyu and noticed he didn't seem bothered by the smell. 0

Suddenly, a vague sound echoed from deep within the basement. A figure stood at the far end, obscured by a curtain that hung in front of him. 0
