Around six in the evening, the sky had slowly darkened. Lin Hanyu and I arrived at the agreed-upon place within two hours. 0

I looked at the dilapidated building in front of me, where dim yellow lights flickered inside, and the sounds of raucous laughter occasionally spilled out. Wang Xinyu and his group were hiding inside this building. 0

"Wang Xinyu, I'm here! You better come out!" I shouted loudly into the building. 0

"Haha! Jiang Ling, you finally made it! I thought you were too scared to show up!" Wang Xinyu's lewd laughter echoed as he leisurely walked out with his hands behind his back. The look in his eyes was as cold as that of someone gazing at a dying person. 0

A murderous glint flashed in my eyes as I spoke sternly, "Wang Xinyu, I've come as agreed. Shouldn't you release Yellow-Haired Leopard and the others?" 0

Wang Xinyu wore a lewd grin on his face. Adjusting his glasses, he replied, "Jiang Ling, you're so loyal; Yellow-Haired Leopard and the others will surely be moved to tears when they see you! Since you want to see them so badly, I'll let you catch up!" 0

Wang Xinyu pulled out a bell made of brass, about the size of an ordinary cup. The bell had already been consecrated and emitted a strong aura of magical energy. Notably, its surface was engraved with grotesque faces that seemed lifelike and easily caught one's attention. 0

"Yellow-Haired Leopard, come out!" Wang Xinyu said with an evil smile, shaking the bell in his hand while keeping his eyes fixed on me, eager to see my reaction. 0

The clear sound of the bell echoed around us, followed by a commotion inside the building. A group of figures emerged from within, led by someone with striking yellow hair. 0

"Yellow-Haired Leopard, I'm over here! Come quickly!" I shouted again, waving my hand towards him. However, it seemed that Yellow-Haired Leopard and his group didn't hear me. After stepping outside, they obediently stood behind Wang Xinyu without even glancing my way, completely ignoring my presence. 0

"Something's not right!" I frowned as an ominous feeling surged within me. I widened my eyes to take a closer look and noticed that a large patch of Yellow-Haired Leopard's yellow hair had been dyed red. A steel nail, about the thickness of a chopstick, had been driven through his Spirit Cover, protruding about half a finger's length outside. The part embedded in Yellow-Haired Leopard's head was clearly much longer. 0

I glanced at several others and found their situations mirrored that of Yellow-Haired Leopard; steel nails had also been driven through their Spirit Covers. Their eyes were tightly shut, their expressions vacant, resembling walking corpses. 0

I saw the Yellow-Haired Leopard and my mood plummeted. My expression darkened, and I clenched my fists tightly, shouting loudly at Wang Xinyu, "You scum! What have you done to them?" 0

Wang Xinyu, seeing my angry and helpless expression, felt a twisted sense of satisfaction. He let out a lewd laugh and said, "Haha! Jiang Ling, your expression is quite nice! I asked Master He Naixing to turn them into Zombies just to see this kind of look on your face!" 0

"Zombies! Ha, you really are a complete scumbag!" I scoffed coldly. Hearing Wang Xinyu's words, I knew there was no chance left to save the Yellow-Haired Leopard. 0

Zombies are a type of corpse manipulation technique that Western Wizards excel in. They first suffocate a Living Person to death and then use Soul Binding Nails to seal the soul within the corpse, preventing it from leaving its body. Finally, they apply wizardry to seal the soul's senses, allowing them to be controlled only through special artifacts. 0

The existence of Zombies is somewhat similar to Corpses, but the method of creating Zombies is far more brutal than that of Corpses. 0

Wang Xinyu completely disregarded the lives of the Yellow-Haired Leopard. His eyes sparkled with a mad killing intent as he lewdly laughed, "Haha! Jiang Ling, my life has been ruined because of you. Now, the only way to relieve my anger is to kill you!" 0

I shook my head at Wang Xinyu. This kind of person never considered the wickedness of his actions; he was simply extremely selfish. If someone tried to reason with him, he probably wouldn’t listen to a word. 0

"Enough talk; if you have the guts, come at me!" I said with a tone full of killing intent, pointing my Demon-Subduing Staff at Wang Xinyu's head, wishing I could rush over and smash him down with one blow. 0

"Jiang Ling, either you kill the Yellow-Haired Leopard yourself or obediently let yourself be killed!" Wang Xinyu's face twisted in malice as he vigorously shook the bell in his hand, controlling the Yellow-Haired Leopard behind him to charge forward. 0

The Yellow-Haired Leopard opened their eyes and stretched out their hands, grasping aimlessly in front of them like Zombies from a movie as they slowly approached me. It was then that I noticed their eyes were hollow; their eyeballs had all been gouged out. 0

"Yellow-Haired Leopard, I'm sorry for what happened to you!" I looked at the Zombies before me with a complex expression. I took a deep breath; although I was reluctant to act against them, they were already dead. If I didn’t strike them down, it would only prolong their suffering. 0

I glanced at Ghost Corpse Lin Hanyu beside me. His eyes were fixed on Wang Xinyu with an intense gaze; his aura had become agitated, filled with an impulse to kill. Wang Xinyu’s method of turning Living Persons into Zombies had thoroughly enraged him. 0

I slapped Lin Hanyu's shoulder firmly, helping him calm down a bit. I said, "Lin Hanyu, hold off these Zombies for one minute. I'll use the Buddhist Sect's Rebirth Sutra to guide them!" 0

The Yellow-Haired Leopard and his group weren't very strong. If I truly wanted to eliminate them, I could disperse their souls in just two or three moves. However, that would mean they wouldn't have the chance to be reincarnated in the Underworld, so I came up with another plan. 0

Lin Hanyu nodded and replied coldly, "No problem. Leave these Zombies to me! Once you finish guiding them, that Fatty is mine! I'll make sure he experiences a fate worse than death!" 0

After Lin Hanyu finished speaking, an Eerie Aura and Corpse Qi surged from his body, transforming into sturdy ropes. He dashed toward the Yellow-Haired Leopard and his group, controlling the ropes to bind the Zombies' limbs and restrict their movements. 0

I quickly took out the Longevity Lamp, lit it, and placed it on the ground. Then I pressed my palms together and sincerely recited, "All Things Have Spirits, All Things Have Souls. All Things Have Fate, All Lives Have an End. Do Not Be Attached to the Mortal World. Born in the Mortal Realm, Return to the Underworld. All Things Have Causes, In the Next Life, There Will Be Consequences. Namo Amitabha Buddha!" 0

Seeing that things were going awry, Wang Xinyu's expression turned frantic as he shouted loudly toward the building, "Master He, come save me!" 0
