Master Jingku walked down the pitch-black street with Kongming Monk. Neither of them paid attention to the direction they were heading or the speed at which they walked. They wandered aimlessly, and the atmosphere grew somewhat heavy, with neither of them speaking. 0

A cold evening breeze swept past them, causing Kongming Monk to shiver. He looked up at Master Jingku and said timidly, "Master, can't you say a few words to me? Even if you just scold me a bit, it would be better than this silence. It makes me feel uneasy." 0

Kongming Monk felt guilty because he knew how much Master Jingku had invested in him. If it weren't for their encounter, he might have continued down a dark path. 0

Master Jingku turned to look into Kongming Monk's eyes, a warm smile on his face. His tone was gentle as he said, "Kongming, you haven't done anything wrong. Why would I scold you? What right do I have to hit you?" 0

He reached out and touched Kongming Monk's bald head, speaking earnestly. "Kongming, what’s done is done. We shouldn't dwell on the past; we need to look forward. I hope you can remain clear-headed from now on and not lose your way again. Don’t let me worry about you anymore." 0

Despite the darkness around them, it did not hinder Kongming Monk's vision. He gazed into Master Jingku's eyes, and when he noticed the wrinkles at the corners of his master's eyes, tears welled up in his own. 0

Over the past two years, Master Jingku had endured many hardships alongside Kongming Monk, and it showed; he appeared to have aged over a decade. 0

"Master, don't worry. I will remember your words and won't disappoint you again!" Kongming Monk wiped away his tears, his voice resolute. 0

Master Jingku nodded with a smile. He took the Buddhist beads from around his neck and placed them around Kongming Monk's neck. Patting him on the shoulder, he said, "Kongming, knowing that you can promise me this puts my mind at ease. You should return to the temple first; I need to meet an old friend and confirm some matters." 0

Kongming Monk understood that these beads were cherished Buddhist artifacts that Master Jingku had received as his first gift when he joined the Buddhist Sect. Master Jingku had always worn them around his neck and had never taken them off. 0

Now that Master Jingku was passing them on to Kongming Monk, he understood the significance behind this gesture. He was not a fool; he could guess Master Jingku's intentions. 0

In his previous memories, Kongming Monk recalled that he had been cursed after swallowing a pill given to him by Master Jingku. He believed that Master Jingku would never harm him; thus, the true culprit must be someone else. Master Jingku likely suspected something as well and was preparing to verify it. 0

Kongming Monk understood Master Jingku's character, so he did not speak to dissuade him. Instead, tears that had previously stopped began to flow again, and no matter how much Kongming Monk tried to wipe them away, he could not stop the tears. 0

"Master, I will return to the temple and wait for you. You must come back," Kongming Monk choked out. He dared not look into Master Jingku's eyes any longer and turned away, lowering his head as he walked into the distance. 0

After walking a short distance, Kongming Monk turned back and shouted at Master Jingku, "Master, you must come back! Otherwise, I will come looking for you, no matter where it is; I will find you!" 0

Hearing Kongming Monk's words, a comforting smile appeared on Master Jingku's face. He shook his head and walked in another direction, murmuring, "Fool, you must live well. It’s time for your master to seek justice for you." 0

I had no understanding of the relationship between Master Jingku and his disciple. After receiving the Buddhist Relic, my heart began to burn with excitement. 0

Jin Yuan and I left the Buddhist Artifact Shop. I found a hotel to stay in while Jin Yuan returned to his own place. As for the mess at the Buddhist Artifact Shop, it would have to wait until tomorrow morning for someone to clean up. 0

After washing up in the hotel, I sat cross-legged on the bed and swallowed the entire Buddhist Relic from the box in one go, beginning to refine the energy of the Sarira. 0

The Buddhist Relic felt like pure restorative medicine. Although I had refined two Buddhist Relics before, this was my first time swallowing so much Sarira at once. 0

The reason I did this was that ever since the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Buddha Manifestation in my Dantian underwent a change, the Buddhist Scriptures within my Dantian had been vibrating continuously and began to devour the Buddhist Power within me. 0

These Buddhist Scriptures were passed down to me by a Buddhist Monk. The Buddhist Spells I could currently cast were all learned from them. 0

However, I had previously struggled to comprehend the more powerful techniques at the end of those scriptures. After regaining my Daoist Magic, I did not study them further. 0

Now was just the right opportunity to carefully study the Buddhist Scriptures in my Dantian; perhaps I could gain insight into some powerful Buddhist Spells. 0

I tightly closed my eyes, then pressed my palms together, reciting the Buddhist Scriptures several times to clear the clutter from my mind. 0

After about a minute, my consciousness became ethereal, and I finally focused my spirit into the Dantian, controlling the Buddhist Relics within me as they approached the Buddhist Scriptures. 0

“Bang~~ Bang~~” As soon as those Buddhist Relics got close to the scripture, they exploded into fragments, transforming into strands of golden dust that drilled into the book. 0

With more and more Buddhist Relics being devoured, the scripture began to change. Golden Buddhist Symbols burst forth from the Sutra and drilled into my mind. 0

I could clearly hear a resounding Buddhist Mantra echoing in my ears, as if someone were explaining profound Buddhist Spells within my consciousness. However, those Buddhist Mantras sounded obscure and difficult to understand; I could only grasp a small part of them. Even so, I gained a lot from this experience, enhancing my application and understanding of Buddhist Spells by a level. 0

My body radiated a faint golden light of Buddha, and behind me appeared the figure of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Buddha Manifestation from within my Dantian. 0

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Buddha Manifestation had wise eyes and held a copy of the Buddhist Scriptures, diligently flipping through it while continuously demonstrating the techniques contained within, learning them with remarkable skill. 0

The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Buddha Manifestation before me was no longer just a mere illusion summoned by me; it had developed its own intelligence and was cultivating towards an even more powerful direction. 0
