In a world shrouded in white, everything seemed to stretch endlessly.
Of course, there was nothing here, except for a faintly floating 'body' in the air.
Upon closer inspection, one would realize that this was an ethereal, soul-like 'body.'
This was Ye Xiu.
At this moment, the White Void had nearly restored Ye Xiu's soul; it only needed to awaken him.
Suddenly, a vast expanse of White Radiance gathered together, slowly forming a humanoid silhouette. However, it was merely a shape without any discernible facial features.
"Awaken, child."
The humanoid White Radiance extended a hand towards Ye Xiu, and the White Void surged into his body.
The immense power contained within the White Void was far greater than spiritual energy; these two types of energy were not even on the same level. The White Void could repair souls, while spiritual energy could only mend the physical body.
Ye Xiu slowly opened his eyes and realized he was still trapped in this White World. A wave of concern washed over him for the outside world, for Tang Luor.
In this moment of awakening, Ye Xiu felt as if he were the master of this White World, and his soul felt extraordinarily powerful.
"Child..."
A sudden voice in the desolate world startled Ye Xiu. He quickly stood up, alert to his surroundings.
Turning around, he saw the humanoid White Radiance. Lacking facial features, it appeared quite eerie; however, it gave Ye Xiu a strangely comforting feeling.
"Who are you?!"
"Child, who I am is not important. What matters is that I need your help," the friendly voice of the Humanoid White Radiance echoed.
"Why should I help you?"
"Because I saved you. To be precise, you would have needed a hundred years to recover, but because of me, you were brought back in just one month."
"A month???" Ye Xiu exclaimed.
He couldn't believe that he had slept for an entire month! If that was the case, the battle outside must have already concluded!
Ye Xiu began to worry about Tang Luor, feeling unusually anxious at that moment.
"Child, don't worry. I can see what is happening outside; they are safe now."
"Why should I trust you?"
Then, Humanoid White Radiance waved his hand casually, and in the White World, White Radiance surged forth, clearing a space.
The area gradually became transparent, revealing a dimly lit ground. In this dimness stood an ancient mansion, which Ye Xiu recognized as the Tang Family Mansion. Soon after, Tang Luor's face appeared in the air. She looked quite haggard as she gazed around.
Seeing that Tang Luor was safe eased his mind, but he couldn't understand why the Tang Family Mansion looked different this time and why the scenery in the distance had changed.
Ye Xiu looked at Humanoid White Radiance with confusion.
"It’s because of your senior brother from the Seven Lives Sect. The Dao Alliance has been pressuring the Tang family. When they launched a formal crackdown on the Tang family, they had already escaped to the Northwest Wilderness and Buzhou Mountain, which is how they gained a brief period of peace."
"How do you know all of this?"
"Because I exist beyond your understanding."

"I am trapped in your world. Besides you, no one can release me."
"Me? What ability do I have to keep you here?"

"I can help you enhance your power."
"Alright, but how do I get you out?"
"Your current cultivation is of no use, but once you reach Wujing, you can give it a try."
