A group of people all looked at Ban Qingya, instinctively waiting for her command. 0

After a moment of thought, Ban Qingya said, "Let's go down and check the situation." 0

With that, she led the Survivors out of the building, carefully crossing the road toward the gas station's convenience store. 0

Pushing open the glass door, the first thing that caught their eyes was the chaotic mess inside the store. Countless food and drinks were scattered everywhere, making it look as if a Typhoon had swept through, leaving utter disarray in its wake. 0

On a collapsed Shelf, they could even clearly see uneven fist imprints, evidence of some terrifying attack. 0

Even the Cash Register at the entrance was not spared; the glass counter had been smashed to pieces. Cigarettes lay scattered on the ground, mixed with shards of broken glass. 0

"Stay alert." 0

Ban Qingya tightened her grip on the baseball bat and spoke sternly to her companions. 0

Logically speaking, the Mutated Zombie inside should have been taken care of by Chu Donglin. 0

However, one could never be too sure; if that fellow hadn’t been completely killed and was hiding in the shadows to ambush them, it would be disastrous. They had already learned the strength of this Mutated Zombie at the cost of three companions' lives and had no intention of experiencing it again. 0

The group cautiously huddled together and stepped into the disordered convenience store. 0

Then, atop a collapsed Shelf, they discovered the headless corpse of a Mutated Zombie lying there. Dark red blood gushed from its wounds, pooling on the ground into a disgusting puddle. 0

As for the Mutated Zombie's head, it had rolled off to one side. 0

However, this head was in a particularly tragic state; it had been smashed to bits, with red and white matter oozing out like a rotten pumpkin. 0

The group turned pale, nearly retching at the sight. 0

Although they had long grown accustomed to life and death in the apocalypse, they had killed Zombies to survive, and even taken down a few troublesome living people. 0

Indeed, those who had managed to survive in such a perilous world and dared to venture out in search of food were all strong-willed individuals. Having witnessed numerous gruesome scenes, it was difficult for ordinary situations to shake their resolve. 0

However, the shocking and bloody scene still made everyone present feel somewhat uneasy. 0

Ban Qingya took a couple of steps forward, breaking away from the protection of the group. 0

Standing amidst the chaotic supermarket, her eyes scanned the surroundings intently. She began to search carefully among the collapsed Shelves, trying to find something from the traces of battle. 0

"President, did you find anything?" 0

A group of people stood frozen in place, afraid to move lest they disrupt the scene and ruin Ban Qingya's search efforts. 0

After ten minutes, Ban Qingya shook her head in frustration. "How is this possible..." 0

She touched a metal Shelf that had been kicked over, seemingly seeing something incomprehensible. She murmured, "How could humans possess such abilities? Is that fellow really a monster?" 0

Her muttering only piqued the curiosity of the other Survivors. "Big Sister, what’s impossible? What did you discover?" 0

Ban Qingya gave her companion a wry smile and shook her head. "For the first time in so long, I doubt whether my deductions are truly correct. If my assumptions are not wrong, that gentleman's physical strength and reaction speed in combat have surpassed human limits, reaching an unparalleled level." 0

"Is it really that exaggerated?" 0

"Not exactly exaggerated. If we take these feats individually, many trained Special Forces Kings could accomplish them. But for one person to achieve all of this... I can only conclude that he is a monster." 0

Ban Qingya sighed as she pointed toward the supermarket's entrance. 0

"First of all, when that gentleman entered the supermarket, he was attacked by a Mutated Zombie after taking about three steps. He rolled to evade it but ended up knocking over a stack of plastic chairs at the entrance, causing them to tumble everywhere." 0

"With the attack speed displayed by the Mutated Zombie, even in a prepared situation, there is less than one and a half seconds of reaction time. When it lunged at him, he managed to react just in time, leaping aside. The required nerve response speed and physical fitness to achieve this are already significantly higher than that of an ordinary person." 0

"In fact, if an ordinary person with poor mental fortitude, like Zhao Qian and his companions, faced it, they would likely freeze in shock, standing there blankly before being pounced on and killed by the Zombie, let alone having time to evade." 0

Zhao Qian was one of their companions who had been attacked by the Mutated Zombie when they entered the supermarket. 0

At that moment, everyone was startled, almost all of them frozen in shock. Zhao Qian and the other two were closest to the Zombie and were directly knocked down and killed by the Mutated Zombie. Only then did the others react and flee in panic. 0

Having faced the terrifying appearance and aura of the Mutated Zombie firsthand, everyone present felt lingering fear, fully aware of how frightening it truly was. 0

So when Ban Qingya began to analyze Chu Donglin's previous encounter, everyone couldn't help but feel their scalps tingle. To remain calm and evade under the attack of a Mutated Zombie required a mental fortitude that could easily put ordinary people to shame. 0

Looking at his somewhat ashamed companions, Ban Qingya sighed as the analysis continued. 0

"And once the Mutated Zombie misses its attack, it will not let go but will turn around and pounce on its prey. Considering the distance from the door to that plastic stool and the speed of the Mutated Zombie, this time that gentleman had less than a second to evade." 0

"And this time, it was clear he didn't have time to escape. He was directly knocked down; evidence of this was a piece of clothing left behind there. Fortunately, he wasn't bitten by the Zombie during the struggle as they rolled under the Cash Register—this also explains why there were no plastic stools along that path; all the chairs had been knocked aside." 0

Everyone looked at the only clear path among the scattered plastic chairs with expressions of realization. 0

Ban Qingya moved to stand in front of the Cash Register and continued. 0

"When they rolled under the Cash Register, at this angle, that gentleman must have exerted force to throw the Mutated Zombie off him. It’s unclear whether he kicked or threw it, but given his situation, kicking is likely eight out of ten times." 0

"I don't know how much force is needed to kick a Mutated Zombie away, but I can bet that even an ordinary person who trains hard would find it difficult. Because this Mutated Zombie was not only kicked away but sent flying behind the Cash Register!" 0

"This Cash Register is about one meter thirty high; kicking a non-resisting living person that high is no easy feat, let alone a Mutated Zombie with immense strength." 0

"Afterward, that gentleman rolled over and jumped up, swinging his Machete down at the Mutated Zombie behind the Cash Register. If he had managed to hit it with that strike, while it might not have killed it outright, at least it would have injured that Mutated Zombie." 0

"Unfortunately, the strike went awry. It did not hit the Mutated Zombie behind the Cash Register but instead landed directly on the glass counter, shattering it completely. Look at these shards of glass; they were broken in the middle by a heavy object." 0

"A powerful warrior cannot make such a basic mistake in battle. Clearly, the superpower of that Mutated Zombie played a role here, as its mental attack disrupted the enemy's judgment, allowing it to charge out from behind the Cash Register." 0

"This time, the battlefield shifted from the Cash Register to this area. Judging by the collapsed Shelf, there are no knife marks left on top, indicating that the gentleman had not yet recovered from the intense pain in his head and was still in a state of being hunted by the Mutated Zombie." 0

"Three Shelves were knocked down as one person and one Zombie chased each other to the end of the supermarket. Looking at the scratches left on this tempered glass, their density and frequency of attack clearly show that the gentleman was overwhelmed and unable to fight back." 0

"This situation is quite normal; he was struck by the Mutated Zombie's mental attack, which dulled his body's reactions due to brain pain. In battle, one misstep can lead to an irreversible situation." 0

"Here, he had been pushed into a desperate corner." 0

"In order to survive, even though this is a gas station, he had no choice but to fire his weapon. Although he did not injure the Mutated Zombie, he successfully forced it back—yes, look here, there are two bullet holes in this Shelf." 0

"This is where we heard the gunshots earlier." 0

"Fortunately, although it was in a gas station, those two shots did not trigger an explosion. He finally managed to push back the Mutated Zombie and gained a moment to breathe after that relentless pursuit." 0

"From how this Shelf collapsed, he likely intended to escape from here towards the entrance. However, as the Mutated Zombie lunged at him and pushed him back, it also caused the Shelf to fall." 0

"Afterward, they chased each other from that side to here; I cannot deduce the details of their battle in between as the clues are too chaotic. However, from the gradually increasing knife marks on the Shelf, it can be inferred that the effects of the Mutated Zombie's mental attack began to wane, and the gentleman started to fight back slowly." 0

"Then there was a turning point from here." 0

"Looking at this pool of blood splattered on the Shelf and that wound on the Mutated Zombie's body, it is clear that the gentleman finally regained his composure here. He retaliated fiercely and managed to injure the Mutated Zombie." 0

"It’s possible that he had already regained his composure before this moment but was just accumulating strength until now for an explosive response. Ultimately, only he knows the specifics of what happened." 0

"However, judging by the angle of this strike and that terrifying combat instinct of the Mutated Zombie, injuring it would not be easy. At this point, it is certain that he employed some unique technique, but I am not sure what it was." 0

"From here on, the battle finally resumed its initial state. The gentleman snapped back to reality from the mental assault of the Mutated Zombie and began to press the creature hard." 0

"The evidence lay in the collapsed shelves, where the marks of slashes were increasing, while the traces left by the Mutated Zombie's attacks were dwindling... Yes, there was no doubt that the Mutated Zombie was being hunted." 0

"Then they chased it here, and the battle reached its climax." 0

"The gentleman cleverly blocked the escape route of the Mutated Zombie, preventing it from fleeing towards the main entrance, gradually compressing its space to escape." 0

"In this corner, with shelves on three sides and a stone pillar blocking the way in the middle, the Mutated Zombie's room to maneuver was reduced to an extreme. When he cornered the Mutated Zombie here, the gentleman suddenly struck and severed its head." 0

"Ah... such monstrous combat power. If it weren't for the Mutated Zombie's mental attack, he would have been in control throughout," Ban Qingya sighed, shaking her head with a look of regret. "If such a powerful person could join our team, our safety would be greatly assured in the future." 0

The others shared her sentiments; with such monstrous combat abilities, it was no wonder that fellow dared to ride recklessly through the city. 0

If even a Mutated Zombie couldn't handle him, they couldn't imagine what else in this city could pose a threat to that fellow. 0

This kind of insane strength was simply inhuman. 0

At that moment, Ban Qingya approached the shattered head, confusion flickering in her eyes. 0

"But what’s up with this head?" 0

Ban Qingya looked at the smashed head with some distress, furrowing her brows. "The Zombie's head has already been severed; it should be dead by now. Why did that gentleman still smash its head? Could it be that this Mutated Zombie isn't dead completely?" 0

A nearby Survivor shrugged and casually remarked, "Maybe it's for whatever's inside the Zombie's head too." 0

Of course, he said it offhandedly. Although through their observations over time, they had noticed that the crystals inside a Mutated Zombie's head were quite attractive to Zombies. 0

However, for humans, those things not only stank but also suffocated them; getting close was unbearable and utterly useless. He said it without much thought, not even paying attention to his own words. 0

However, Ban Qingya furrowed her brows in thought, finding a metal rod amidst the chaos in the supermarket. Cautiously, she began to sift through the mass of brain matter. 0

"President, you can't really believe that fellow Li Yi's nonsense, can you? Taking Zombie Tuberculosis... Ha... What good is that? That guy might just have a necrophilia fetish, enjoying smashing the heads of Zombies after killing them." 0

A group of people laughed and, after confirming that the Mutated Zombie was dead, their tense emotions began to ease. They started to focus on the collapsed shelves around them. 0

For Survivors, these food and drinks were the most precious treasures. Although they didn't understand why that fellow had only taken two barrels of gasoline when he left, they certainly weren't going to miss out on the food in this supermarket. 0

As the group scattered throughout the messy supermarket searching for intact drinks and food to take with them, Ban Qingya froze beside the Zombie's corpse. 0

She stared at the missing Energy Core inside the Zombie's head, her brow furrowing tighter. 0

"Is it really gone?" 0

Instinctively glancing in the direction where Chu Donglin had disappeared, Ban Qingya's eyes were filled with confusion. "What use does he have for tuberculosis?" 0
