At the edge of the platform, Chu Donglin once again pulled his head back, standing in the desolate Autumn Wind, taking deep breaths. 0

From any perspective, he had no reason to give up on those two peaches. 0

He glanced at the girl beside him; she seemed a bit confused by his fluctuating emotions. However, her shallow wisdom was not enough to express concern; she simply stared blankly at Chu Donglin. 0

Chu Donglin silently calculated all the forces at his disposal. 0

The girl, being an agile Zombie, could run at a speed only slightly slower than that of a Tyrant Zombie. As long as he planned ahead, he could safely lure the Tyrant away. 0

However, the Tyrant was not an ordinary Zombie. At this level of evolution, Zombies had gained intelligence. Although the Tyrant's judgment was hindered by its powerful Bloodthirsty instincts, making its intelligence much weaker than that of Chu Donglin, it was certainly not something that could be easily fooled. 0

Just like when Chu Donglin first entered its line of sight; although it chased him as an intruder, it did not pursue him for long before retreating. Clearly, the provocation from a Low-Level Zombie was not as important to it as those two peaches. 0

It would be best if he could kill it effortlessly; if not, protecting the peaches was more important. 0

This mindset of the Tyrant determined that Chu Donglin would not have much time to steal the peaches. Based on previous encounters, it would only be willing to leave a distance of no more than one street. 0

Even if the girl could provoke it into chasing further, the time left for Chu Donglin would not exceed half a minute. 0

In less than a minute, he needed to infiltrate the area, scale several meters high walls, traverse hundreds of meters to successfully pick the peaches. Then he had to escape with both peaches before the Tyrant caught up and evade its pursuit range—this was something impossible for any Second-Stage Zombie. 0

However, Chu Donglin's intelligence gave this plan a glimmer of hope. 0

He calmed his emotions and cautiously peeked out from the platform again, carefully observing the layout of the area, striving to memorize every terrain detail until he was thoroughly familiar with it. 0

He silently calculated his entry route and escape route in his mind, rehearsing how to act for maximum speed and efficiency. 0

For a full ten minutes, Chu Donglin was silently calculating the success probabilities of each plan. 0

When he finally deduced the most suitable route, he no longer hesitated. Without delay, he took Snow and left the platform, returning to the base of the building. 0

First, he left Snow downstairs without moving and cautiously rode his motorcycle around two streets to reach the back side of the area. 0

The back side featured a narrow street cluttered with many abandoned cars. Chu Donglin maneuvered his motorcycle through these vehicles and quietly arrived at his planned position. 0

There stood an outer wall of the area; although two meters high might pose a challenge for many ordinary people, it was not a significant obstacle for a Second-Stage Zombie like Chu Donglin. 0

He parked the motorcycle in a suitable spot, ensuring that he could quickly jump over the wall and ride away when the time came. Chu Donglin took a final check on the motorcycle's condition, keeping it running instead of turning it off. 0

Leaning against the outer wall of the district, he silently issued a command to Snow, who was several streets away. 0

Now, the straight-line distance between him and Snow was nearly a thousand meters, and Chu Donglin could only vaguely sense her mental awareness. However, once his command was given, Snow received it clearly and acted swiftly. 0

She picked up a stone from the roadside and dashed toward the nearby street corner, soon appearing in Tyrant's line of sight. 0

"Roar—" 0

Tyrant, perched on the wall, let out an angry growl as it looked at Snow, who was hundreds of meters away, its eyes filled with a fierce rage. 0

It shifted impatiently on the wall, thoroughly annoyed by the constant disturbances from these Low-Level Zombies. 0

It didn’t understand why, despite having scared off all the surrounding Mutated Zombies, there were still foolish fellows daring to disturb it. But that didn’t stop it from wanting to crush this fellow before it to vent its pent-up fury. 0

However, before it could make a move, the suddenly appearing Second-Stage Zombie at the street corner threw a stone at it. 0

The hard stone flew across hundreds of meters and lightly struck Tyrant's body with a crisp sound before falling to the ground. 0

The originally furious Tyrant paused for a moment. It lowered its head to look at the stone at its feet and then glanced at the Second-Stage Zombie standing at the street corner, momentarily taken aback. 0

Typically, Second-Stage Zombies would flee in terror upon seeing it. 0

Even when it was in a Madness and Bloodthirsty state while hunting those fellows, that group of Low-Level Zombies wouldn’t dare retaliate against it under its terrifying mental pressure. 0

But now this inexplicable Second-Stage Zombie was throwing things at it? Was she insane? 0

Before Tyrant could fully process what was happening, Snow threw another stone from the street corner. 0

Crack— 0

With another sharp sound, the stone predictably struck Tyrant’s body again and rolled down to its feet without causing any harm to the fearsome Fourth-Stage Zombie. 0

Yet this slight impact ignited Tyrant's fury. It suddenly reacted, its heart filled with overwhelming anger and rage. 0

This Low-Level Zombie! This Low-Level Zombie actually dared to attack it?! 0

The feeling was akin to a towering dragon looking down upon the masses, suddenly spat upon by a rat in the filthy sewers, igniting all of Tyrant's fury. 0

With a roar of rage, Tyrant stomped down, crushing a section of the wall beneath its feet. Countless stones tumbled and collapsed, kicking up a cloud of dust. 0

At the same time, Tyrant's body surged upward, roaring in fury as it leaped toward the street corner, intent on crushing the Second-Stage Zombie that dared to challenge its authority. 0

However, upon seeing Tyrant leap toward it with a terrifying momentum that boiled the air around, Snow wasted no time turning to flee. The agility of the Second-Stage Zombie was pushed to its limits, allowing it to reach a speed that would deter most living beings. 0

Boom— 0

A tremendous sound erupted as Tyrant's body slammed into the ground, creating a massive crater in the concrete floor. 0

Countless cracks spread like a spider's web in all directions. Amidst the flying debris of cement, Tyrant roared in madness and leaped again without hesitation, continuing the pursuit of Snow, who was fleeing in panic. 0

Each leap covered hundreds of meters. 0

With every landing, it created a terrifying crater in the ground. Tyrant's overwhelming presence was like that of a resurrected T-Rex rampaging through this silent city. 0

In an instant, the area felt as if it had experienced an earthquake; the ground trembled with madness. The frequency of the vibrations sent chills down the spine even from a distance. 0
