The young man's straightforward introduction brought a smile to Chu Donglin's face; he had a good impression of the youth.
"A-Xu should be in college this year, right? If it weren't for these Zombies..."
"Uh... no, Mr. Chu, you misunderstood. I'm just working as a security guard at Yuan Yang. After the Zombies appeared, I followed Mr. Liu to escape, and I've been with him ever since. I never went to college."
Chen Xu scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I actually wanted to go to college, but I couldn't pass the entrance exam, so in the end, I could only work as a security guard."

Chu Donglin looked at the two of them and smiled. "It takes courage to come out of the camp like this and dive into a pile of Zombies... you two are quite brave."

In densely populated places like universities, even if some Survivors managed to escape in time, their numbers would be significantly higher than in other areas.
Now that it had been nearly three months since the Zombie crisis erupted, most of the Survivors should have escaped from the campus by now. As for those who hadn't made it out, they likely either fell victim to Zombies or starved to death.
In this vast university, it had likely become a true Zombie Sea.
As Chu Donglin stood at the crossroads, gazing at the university's entrance from a distance, his eyes narrowed slightly—he had thought of a rather good hunting ground.
In such an almost enclosed environment like this university, the density of Zombies would be extremely high, and the chances of encountering Mutated Zombies would also increase significantly.
With a population base of over sixty thousand, the Mutated Zombies would be fighting and evolving among themselves. At the very least, there should be five or six Second-Stage Zombies lurking around.

At first, Chu Donglin had attempted to domesticate First-Stage Zombies, feeding them First-Stage Crystal Cores to evolve into Second-Stage Zombies, and then killing these evolved Zombies to harvest their cores.
However, after conducting some experiments, Chu Donglin realized that the investment in this domestication did not yield proportional returns.
Capturing First-Stage Zombies required a significant amount of First-Stage Crystals, and finding these zombies was not an easy task.
Moreover, the Energy Crystals from Second-Stage Zombies varied in strength. A crystal from a newly evolved Second-Stage Zombie was far less potent than that of a Powerful Zombie like Xue, who was on the verge of evolving into a Third Stage. The energy contained within the Evolution Crystals differed greatly.
Instead of spending time slowly hunting First-Stage Zombies and feeding them to the captive zombies, waiting for them to fall into a deep sleep for two or three days before evolving, Chu Donglin could take Xue out to hunt several powerful Second-Stage Zombies in that time.
Additionally, the Evolution Crystals obtained from these hunted Second-Stage Zombies were exponentially stronger than those produced from captive ones.
Thus, Chu Donglin's plan for captivity had to be abandoned.
However, the emergence of this university provided Chu Donglin with a new inspiration.
In such a completely enclosed environment, it resembled a breeding ground for chaos. The zombies inside were unlikely to leave until a true king among them emerged to dominate the others.

Therefore, Chu Donglin's previous attempts to hunt Second-Stage Zombies were quite troublesome; he had to locate targets while avoiding areas with too many nearby zombies to prevent attracting them during combat.
However, universities were different. These institutions were mostly located in suburban areas, and even if there were Second-Stage Zombies present in such completely enclosed environments, their numbers would likely be limited.
With the powers of Chu Donglin, Snow, and the White Wolf, they could easily crush the vast majority of Second-Stage Zombies.
Even if a chaotic battle did break out, as long as the number of Second-Stage Zombies involved did not exceed twenty, there would be no problem.
However, even in a university with sixty thousand students, it was unlikely that the number of Second-Stage Zombies would reach more than twenty.
Therefore, Chu Donglin planned to return and take Snow and the White Wolf to patrol several universities in Wocheng to hunt down any hidden Second-Stage Zombies.
But before that, the matter concerning Liushan Shu was an unavoidable hurdle.
Based on the information Chu Donglin gathered from Zhou Jing and Chen Xu, he had a rough understanding of Liushan Shu's current situation.
Before the apocalypse struck, this fellow decisively took food and weapons and rushed out of his villa, hiding in a resort not far from the urban area.
That resort happened to be owned by the Liu Family, so Liushan Shu was quite familiar with the situation there.
Moreover, being in middle age, Liushan Shu was still relatively strong and armed. Facing Low-Level Zombies, he could remain calm and composed; those dazed Low-Level Zombies posed little threat to him.
He cleared out the Zombies in the resort and gathered five Survivors from among them.
With these five former employees as his core group, relying on the vast area of the resort far from the city, Liushan Shu began to gradually gather other Survivors from within the city.
In the face of such a sudden disaster that destroyed the entire social order of humanity during the apocalypse, most people were filled with anxiety and uncertainty.
In this situation, Liushan Shu, a decisive and powerful individual, suddenly stepped forward and naturally became the leader that everyone looked up to, establishing his own Survivor Base.
Currently, there are three Survivor Bases near the Bay Area, and Liushan Shu's Survivor Base is the strongest in terms of power and population.
Liushan Shu is not like Li Zheng, an inexperienced fledgling; he does not need dark methods to win people's hearts. He manages the entire Survivor camp as if he were running a business, earning the trust of the vast majority.
After all, he was once a figure who commanded respect in Wocheng. Winning hearts, establishing order, and maintaining control are tasks that Liushan Shu handles with ease.

What kind of scene would unfold when these two adversaries met again?
