In the quiet room, the only sound was the gentle call of Ban Guozhi from the other end of the phone.
The woman sitting behind the desk appeared calm, yet in that moment, she seemed to transform into a statue, devoid of color.
Three minutes later, her frozen eyes finally moved slightly, regaining their liveliness.
She straightened up and coldly addressed Ban Guozhi on the other end of the line.
"As for Xing'er, if she is unwilling to come, there is no need to force her to Jiang Hai. Since Chu Donglin has grown strong enough to protect her from harm, we should not disrupt their happiness by forcibly separating them."

The resurrection of the Zombie Legion began shortly after Acha's death.
A group of zombies that had successfully evolved to the Third Stage gradually awakened, feeling the immense power of their bodies, and silently gathered behind Chu Donglin.
At this moment, Chu Donglin had already buried Acha's corpse.

"Hey, hey, hey... you all, come here and assemble. Come tell your king your current status. Let's see if you can surpass Wang. If you do, there will be treats."
He called out to the bizarre group of Zombies like he was trying to amuse children, clapping his hands like a kindergarten teacher.
Soon, a motley crew of big-headed Zombies with Tentacle bodies, as well as oversized rabbits and hamsters, came running over in their unique ways to gather in front of Chu Donglin.
Among them, Shishi's pet cat Dodo happily meowed and leaped onto Shishi's shoulder, nuzzling her face affectionately.
Chu Donglin completely ignored this useless female cat.

The girl waved from a distance and shouted, "Keara is fine, but someone sent me with a message for you and Sister Xin'er. It's very important... Oh right, it’s a message from Jiang Hai; it seems to be from Sister Xin'er's sister."
At these words, Liu Xin'er’s smile froze on her face.
She instinctively glanced at Chu Donglin beside her, feeling anxious.
"Sister..."
