Wang Tuozi suddenly felt embarrassed. With a wave of his Soul Banner, he shouted again, "If not now, then when?" 0

The God of Joy remained unmoved. 0

Wang Tuozi's face turned red as he lowered the Soul Banner and said, "This, this must be a problem, this..." 0

He reached out and touched the God of Joy, puzzled. "What exactly is wrong here?" 0

"Got it!" Wang Tuozi exclaimed as he began to unfasten the God of Joy's clothing. A black line extended from the God of Joy's throat down to three inches below his belly, which was swollen as if something were inside. Wang Tuozi wondered aloud, "What is this?" 0

He pulled out a knife from his pocket and cut the black line. Suddenly, a bolt of black lightning leaped out from the God of Joy's belly. Wei Ning was startled and jumped back. Upon closer inspection, he realized that the black lightning was actually a Black Cat. 0

This God of Joy had been around for at least a hundred years, and yet there was a living Black Cat inside him! 0

Wei Ning found it hard to believe that this Black Cat could survive for over a hundred years without food or water inside a person's belly. 0

At that moment, Wei Ning suddenly felt something grab his foot. Looking down, he was shocked to see that the intact skeleton had moved! Its hand was gripping Wei Ning's foot. 0

It dawned on Wei Ning that when the Black Cat jumped out of the God of Joy's belly, his hand had trembled slightly, allowing some vital energy to escape. 0

Wang Tuozi shouted loudly, "Run! The God of Joy has gone berserk!" 0

This sudden turn of events was almost beyond Wei Ning's comprehension. In his mind, only corpses with life could become Zombies; bones could not move on their own. If bones were to move, they would have to be transformed into something like the Bone Demon from Journey to the West. Of course, that was just mythology—such things could never happen in real life. 0

Wang Tuozi suddenly yanked Wei Ning backward, using his other hand to try and sever the bony grip with his knife. However, the bone was as tough as steel; after several attempts, he couldn't even leave a mark on it, while his knife had already chipped in several places. 0

At that moment, the Black Cat let out a meow and climbed up the wall. It seemed to trigger something, and suddenly a crack collapsed, creating a one-meter-wide hole. It was then that Wang Tuozi and Wei Ning noticed that the ten-meter-high stone cave was swaying with thousands of corpses hanging from above! 0

These corpses swayed in the air, all dressed in white garments, their hands bound behind their backs. They resembled a tattered sheet of paper, swaying left and right. When they encountered sunlight, they suddenly ignited from their clothes, burning until they turned to ashes, which mixed with the falling stones and dust from the cave entrance. 0

"This! This is too unbelievable," Wei Ning exclaimed, dumbfounded, almost forgetting about the bony hand gripping his ankle! 0

"The Black Cult's Thousand Corpses Hanging Yin Formation?" Wang Tuozi blurted out. 0

Wang Tuozi realized why this God of Joy was so sinister; it was because it had been forged from the sacrifice of thousands of corpses. The Evil Energy from these corpses had been reflected into this coffin by the grave maker using a Bagua Mirror. Being hanged was one of the most intense forms of death associated with Evil Energy. This God of Joy had gathered the Evil Energy of a thousand hanged souls within itself; such horror was likely unheard of even by Wang Tuozi. 0

To have thousands sacrificed for one corpse, who exactly was this God of Joy in life that warranted such an extravagant measure against him? 0

At this moment, Wang Tuozi could no longer afford to ponder these thoughts because the bony hand gripping Wei Ning's ankle had now reached his waist. 0

The boneless Zombie also moved. Although its body was still entangled by Ink Fight remnants, it slithered toward Wang Tuozi like a snake! 0

Impossible! Wang Tuozi had never encountered such a situation in his lifetime. Corpse Transformation required the soul to remain within the body. Initially, he thought this Zombie's soul was sealed within its body due to the bone's mutation. But now that both flesh and bone were moving together, where exactly was the soul? 0

Wang Tuozi couldn't afford to think any further; the boneless Zombie had already coiled around him like a snake. He gripped his Peach Wood Sword tightly and thrust it into the Zombie Snake's vital spot. However, the Zombie Snake seemed to be made of rubber; it wrapped around the Peach Wood Sword and pulled back while simultaneously coiling around Wang Tuozi completely, revealing its white teeth and opening its gaping maw wide enough to swallow him whole! 0

Meanwhile, on the other side, Wei Ning could no longer ignore the bony hand that had climbed up to his waist. Seeing this made him panic; he shouted, "Master!" and hurriedly tried to run over to help. But how could that bony figure easily release its grip? Its hands tightened around Wei Ning's throat, pulling him into an intimate embrace. As Wei Ning struggled for breath, the pressure increased with each passing moment. His eyes began to roll back as his face turned a deep shade of purple; it seemed he was on the verge of suffocating to death. 0

The fate of the two master and apprentice hung by a thread at that moment! 0

Suddenly, there was a series of sharp sounds from the Zombie Snake, and then its neck swelled up like a balloon. The prayer beads that had been hanging on its chest scattered all over the ground, and the official robe it wore was ripped apart, the sound of fabric tearing clear to the ear. 0

A miracle occurred; Wang Tuozi actually emerged from the hole he had made in the Zombie's belly, his face covered in grime as he slid out completely. He was coated in a layer of yellowish liquid that looked extremely disgusting. Before he even hit the ground, Wang Tuozi was already shouting, "Fire! Fire!" 0

It turned out that just as Wang Tuozi was swallowed by the Zombie Snake, he suddenly recalled a mysterious spell rumored in the Black Cult—a dark art called "Beast Soul." This technique involved processing a corpse and a cat's body in such a way that a person's soul would be sealed within the cat's body, achieving some terrifying effect. Wang Tuozi had only heard whispers of it before, but when he thought of the Black Cat, bones, and Zombies, an idea struck him. In that instant before being swallowed by the Zombie Snake, he drove eight Iron Nails into its upper and lower jaws to pin them apart, thus avoiding the tragedy of being bitten in half. 0

Whether it be ghosts, souls, or demons, nothing could be completely immune to Dao Techniques. Even the most powerful spells would have at least some effect against any spirit. Just as no ghost would dare to appear at noon when yang energy was at its peak. However, both the Zombie Snake and the bones were nearly completely immune to Wang Tuozi's Dao Techniques. This led him to suspect that neither the soul nor spirit of the God of Joy was sealed within them, prompting him to think of the "Beast Soul" dark art. 0

In truth, after undergoing some mysterious spell, these two entities had long since become "vessels," while the true God of Joy was none other than that Black Cat. 0

Since it wasn't the God of Joy after all, Wang Tuozi couldn't afford to hesitate any longer. Destroying corpses and erasing traces was his specialty; what better way to deal with this than with fire? 0

All of this transpired in an instant, a perilous moment indeed. 0
