Hearing this, Takeda Kyoko didn't know whether to cry or laugh. She truly wanted to become the first female Clan Leader in the history of the Takeda Family, but certainly not in this manner. "Mr. Jiang, does God really exist in this world?" Takeda Kyoko asked. Although she had witnessed various martial arts wonders before, she could accept those abilities. As for the legendary deities, she had fantasized about them but had never seen one. Now that she stood before Jiang Chen, she sought his clarification.
"Of course they exist; both immortals and demons exist. This world is far more exciting than you can imagine," Jiang Chen answered.
"Then are you a god?" Takeda Kyoko gazed intently at Jiang Chen and asked again.
Beside her, Tengye Kikuko also looked at Jiang Chen with anticipation, waiting for his response.
"Not yet," Jiang Chen smiled; he didn't want to frighten the two women.
"Not yet? Then who on Earth can be considered one?" Takeda Kyoko was somewhat astonished; she felt that someone with Jiang Chen's abilities was more than capable of being a god.
"There haven't been any gods on Earth for a long time, but there will be in the future—and many of them," Jiang Chen replied with a faint smile, his words laden with meaning.
Takeda Kyoko stared at Jiang Chen in shock, as if a new world had opened up in her mind. Tengye Kikuko was even more stunned, speechless; in just one day, she had experienced the most thrilling events of her life—more incredible than any movie plot.
If someone else had told Tengye Kikuko that there were gods in this world, she would have dismissed it as a joke or scoffed at it. But now, she believed Jiang Chen's words.
Suddenly, Tengye Kikuko understood why Yue Hui had called her that day and spoken of Jiang Chen with such reverence. At the time, Tengye Kikuko had found it strange; now it all made sense.
"Mr. Jiang, there's something I need to tell you. The Vengeful Spirit you killed earlier was a servant of the Eastern Deity. I used to doubt the existence of the Eastern Deity and thought it was just a legend, but now it seems to be true!" Takeda Kyoko said.

The Island Nation had many ghost stories; most people believed in them since many strange occurrences could not be explained scientifically and were thus attributed to supernatural tales.
The story of the Eastern Deity's battle against Huaxia Martial Arts over a century ago was indeed a long-buried secret known to few. However, the Takeda Family was aware of this rumor, and Takeda Kyoko was simply relaying what she knew to Jiang Chen.
