There is a small cup of red liquid in the dim sum, which is not juice. Daphne has already sniffed out that it is the drink her brother gave her in his room just now. 0

She wants to try other foods, but she finds that almost all the food has no taste, and even if there is, it is so faint that it is difficult for her tongue to catch. 0

In the end, only this complex salty-sweet liquid could stimulate her dull taste buds. 0

Daphne put down the food in her hand, stared at them, and sat down on the sofa, lost in thought. 0

The cake's colors are so rich, with glistening red strawberries dotted on top, and layers of cream like waves, emitting a greasy sweet fragrance. Just by looking at it, she can imagine how sweet it should be. 0

But why does it taste like nothing? Is she sick? 0

"Miss?" The maid, hearing no movement inside, spoke up at the right moment, "Do you need my help?" 0

Lucia's voice brought her back to her senses, and Daphne nodded, saying, "I'm full, please help me tidy up." 0

Lucia came in quietly and put all the plates on the table into the dining car, then pushed the dining car out of the room. 0

Two more maids came in from outside, one holding a basin and the other holding a towel, to help Daphne clean her hands and face. 0

Daphne Raised her hand and tilted her face, obediently letting them manipulate her. After the water between her fingers was wiped dry bit by bit, the two maids quietly left the hall, leaving her alone sitting here. 0

Daphne Sat still for a while, feeling a bit bored. 0

She stood up and walked to the bookshelf, taking another book from the top and randomly flipping through the pages, wanting to read. However, the crawling characters on the page made her realize that she truly didn't recognize them. 0

Why? Daphne clearly remembered that she should know how to read. 0

She took down several books from the shelf again, flipping through them. The books were all filled with characters that looked like tadpoles and earthworms. In her memory, words shouldn't look like this. 0

But if not like this, then what should they look like? Daphne sat down and tried to distinguish the characters, feeling that some of them were familiar to her, even though she still didn't know what they meant. 0

Daphne sat in front of the desk, propping her chin and flipping through the pages of the book aimlessly. Page by page, she flipped down, and unconsciously fell asleep in this uncomfortable position. 0

"Miss Daphne." 0

The maid's gentle voice sounded in her ears, and Daphne opened her eyes, looking at the person in front of her with a bewildered expression. 0

"Lucia?" She sat up, rubbed her stiff shoulders, and asked, "Is there something you need?" 0

"It's already late now. The host invites you to the restaurant for dinner," Lucia extended her hand, making an inviting gesture. 0

Daphne obediently placed her right hand on Lucia's hand, followed her movement, stood up, and walked out of the hall, arriving at a dim corridor. 0

Someone is leading her, and now she is not so afraid of this long corridor. There is a series of torches on the wall, and the flames on them are actually white. 0

"Lucia, why are these flames white?" 0

The maid replied, "The master arranges for someone to add special fuel to them at regular intervals." 0

Is that so? So the flames should still be yellow? Daphne is not so sure now, the common sense she thought she had in her subconscious is constantly being overturned, and she feels like she must have been someone from a different world in her past life. 0

At the right turn of the corridor, Lucia suddenly stopped without warning. Daphne, still looking at the mural on the wall, almost bumped into her back. 0

She looked at Lucia and asked, "What's wrong?" Then, out of the corner of her eye, she caught sight of two figures standing at the corner. 0

"Sister?" She looked at Miller and blinked. 0

Miller took a step forward, took her right hand from the maid, and put it to his mouth, hinting by sharply biting it with his fangs. 0

Daphne didn't know how to react when she saw Miller's deep eyes, remembering the previous "punishment," the pink color spread to her neck. 0

"Why is big brother standing here?" 0

"I'm waiting for you." Miller bent his arm, allowing Daphne to link hers with his, and then led her through this short and wide corridor into a spacious hall. 0

Exiting this hall, Daphne saw a railing, and they walked onto the balcony on the second floor, and it was only now that Daphne truly realized that the house was not just one story. 0

Miller walked slowly down the spiral staircase with her. When they reached the first floor, Daphne leaned on Miller and entrusted her weight to her brother, letting him drag her forward. 0

Miller hesitated for a moment, then glanced at the obedient and innocent face of this little lazy pig, and asked her, "Should I carry you over?" 0

His tone didn't carry a clear sense of teasing, but Daphne thought her brother was mocking her, so she awkwardly let go of his hand and tried to step back, only to be caught by Miller's other hand on her wrist. 0

In the next instant, her body suddenly lifted into the air, held around the waist by her strong brother's arms. 0

Daphne My heart was pounding, and I instinctively hugged my brother's neck. 0

"Brother wasn't joking. Flora is tired, and brother shouldn't make Flora keep walking," Miller pinched her soft thigh, his tone sincere. 0

Daphne blushed and shifted uncomfortably, "Brother, your, your hand!" 0

The restaurant wasn't far, and after passing through a corridor, Miller carried her through an open white door, and Daphne saw an unbelievably long table. 0

"That's a long table." 0

"In fact, this restaurant is mainly used for family gatherings. It's open today to welcome Flora." 0
