Six Princess seemed to have made a tremendous decision. Taking a deep breath, she suddenly dropped to her knees with a thud on the ground in front of the carriage, tears welling in her eyes, filled with a pleading expression. Her lips trembled as she cried out, “Sister Seven, I beg you, show mercy and spare Third Prince!” 0

Her voice, laced with sobs, trembled and stood out starkly against the bustling street, cutting through the noisy air like a sharp blade. 0

At that moment, the once-bustling street became even more animated. People flocked around like bees drawn to nectar, their eyes sparkling with curiosity as they watched this dramatic scene unfold. 0

Various voices erupted from the crowd, creating a cacophony of opinions. One person, with a stern expression and furrowed brows, shouted indignantly, “Seventh Princess, this is outrageous! Forcing your own sister to kneel in public—what kind of law is there in this kingdom? Is there no justice left?” 0

As he spoke, he waved his arms dramatically, stirring up a breeze and wearing an expression of righteous indignation, as if he were the embodiment of justice itself. 0

Yet there were some who remained clear-headed. Frowning slightly, one person shook their head and countered, “What do you know? Seventh Princess only confiscated items from Hong Shangshu Mansion. She hasn’t done anything excessive to Third Prince. It was his own misfortune that led him to kill the princess after discovering her infidelity. What does that have to do with Seventh Princess?” 0

This person glanced around at the others, their eyes filled with helplessness as they tried to reason with the crowd, hoping for some calm reflection. 0

However, some stubbornly held onto their views, defiantly shouting, “No matter what, you can’t let your sister kneel in public! It’s too humiliating.” 0

Someone nearby couldn’t take it anymore. Frowning and glaring at them, they retorted, “It’s clearly Six Princess who wants to kneel! Are you all blind?” 0

The crowd erupted into a heated debate, voices clashing and rising like tumultuous waves crashing against the shore. 0

While Six Princess appeared to be crying and her shoulders shook continuously, she was actually listening intently to the discussions along the street. A barely noticeable smile crept onto her lips as she secretly reveled in her success. 0

She thought to herself, “Yun Qingyu, forcing my royal sister to kneel in front of so many people—let’s see how you plan to handle this situation.” 0

Yun Qingyu sat in the carriage, clearly hearing the whispers of the people along the long street and the dark thoughts of the Six Princess. Yet, she remained calm and indifferent, like an iceberg, unmoved. She simply raised her chin slightly and instructed the driver, "Return to the residence." 0

Her voice was not loud, but it carried an undeniable authority. 0

The driver obeyed, cracking the whip with a graceful arc that sliced through the air with a sharp "crack." The carriage quickly set off, its wheels rolling forward and kicking up a cloud of dust. 0

The Six Princess had been kneeling without moving, confident that Yun Qingyu would not dare to pass over her in public. A smug expression appeared on her face, her lips curling slightly upward, her eyes glinting with cunning. 0

However, when she saw the carriage barreling toward her without any sign of stopping, panic struck her. Her eyes widened in terror, pupils dilating sharply. 0

In a flurry of movement, she scrambled with her hands on the ground and pushed herself backward with her feet, barely managing to dodge aside. In her haste, she almost fell over, swaying several times before finally regaining her balance. 0

The carriage from the Princess Residence sped away, dust swirling in the air like a yellow veil, leaving behind a scene of chaos. The Six Princess stared at the retreating carriage in shock, her eyes unblinking and filled with resentment, as if her glare could burn a hole through it. 0

Having clenched her fists tightly moments before, a hidden poisoned needle had pierced into her palm, sending a jolt of pain coursing through her. She instinctively released her grip as if scalded by fire. 0

The spot where the needle had pricked began to darken ominously; the blackness spread rapidly across her palm like a mark of a demon. Her face turned pale as beads of sweat formed on her forehead. 0
