Along the way, Zuo Dao spent his time under the teasing remarks of Tai Shu Yun. It was so embarrassing; a grown man like him had just started bleeding from his nose, and he was a Concentration Stage Cultivator at that.
This was Tai Shu Yun. If it were anyone else, Zuo Dao would have already beaten them to a pulp.
Spirit Sword Mountain loomed ahead, its towering peaks piercing the clouds. Zuo Dao fell into deep thought once again.

A cacophony of voices jolted Zuo Dao from his contemplation and pulled Tai Shu Yun out of her reverie.
"Oh no, I forgot we’ve reached the mountain gate. There are often disciples patrolling here; I wonder if they saw us."
Tai Shu Yun approached with a hint of nervousness.
"You’re here! Did the Grand Elder get angry?"
"Of course! You don’t know? Brother Zhang and the others have been called in for a lecture again," one disciple from Spirit Sword Mountain replied.
"Haha, I knew it! I’ll have to go apologize to them later; they always take the blame."
Sure enough, it was the same as always. Whenever she disappeared, Grandpa would call the Seven Lords to reprimand them.
Zuo Dao watched Tai Shu Yun speaking with the disciples. Given her status, she didn't need to act this way, but Tai Shu Yun showed no airs at all; all the disciples of Spirit Sword Mountain adored her.
"Alright, enough chatting. You all patrol properly. I'm going to see the Grand Elder." With that, she turned to Zuo Dao and waved before heading into the mountain.
"Junior Sister Yun, you're back!" At that moment, a voice came from above.
"Hello, Senior Brother!" The patrolling disciples quickly bowed upon seeing who it was.
Zhang Jun had also happened to walk by and noticed Tai Shu Yun's presence. However, he paid little attention to the unfamiliar cultivator following her. Once inside Spirit Sword Mountain, no matter how malicious someone's intentions were, they could not be realized.
Zuo Dao looked at the chief of the Spirit Sword Seven Lords and remained silent. Even in the Great Dream Mirror, he hadn't interacted much with this person, let alone now.
The current world was exactly like that in the Great Dream Mirror; perhaps the only difference was their identities. As soon as the words left her mouth, both Zuo Dao and Zhang Jun froze, especially Zhang Jun, whose expression darkened.
He knew his junior sister was a bit scatterbrained, but he never expected her to be this oblivious, bringing someone up the mountain without even knowing their name.
"Greetings, Daoist Zhang. I am a friend of Huang Xishi. I happened to meet Tai Shu Xianzi on the way here and ended up coming with her. I got so caught up in our conversation that I forgot to tell her my name. I'm Zuo Dao."

Before Tai Shu Reincarnation could respond, Tai Shu Yun interjected.
"Grandpa, he has Life Essence Herb and Sword Spirit Pill that he wants to trade with us!" There was a hint of pride in her voice. If this deal went through, her contribution would be significant since Zuo Dao was the one she had brought to the mountain.
"What?" Upon hearing Tai Shu Yun's words, the earlier calmness of Tai Shu Reincarnation vanished.
"Is it true?" When he spoke again, his tone was urgent and filled with doubt.
"Absolutely true. I wouldn't dare deceive you, Elder, here at Spirit Sword Mountain."
"If you truly possess these two types of pills, then we can have a serious discussion. But if I find out you're lying to me..." At this point, Tai Shu Reincarnation unleashed his Void Realm aura, filling the hall with a chilling Sword Intent that left no room for misunderstanding.

The atmosphere in the hall became even more tense after Tai Shu Yun spoke.
Zuo Dao sighed inwardly.
"The timing of Tai Shu Yun's words is just too off."
Sure enough, not long after Tai Shu Yun finished speaking, an even more intense wave of killing intent surged forth, aimed directly at him.
