Upon returning home, Liu Yan began to bustle about. She moved gracefully through the kitchen, pots and pans in her hands like obedient instruments, occasionally producing crisp clinks that filled the air.
The rich aroma of whatever she was cooking seemed to come alive, quickly permeating the entire house.
Before long, a table full of dishes was ready.
The Sweet and Sour Pork glistened with a bright red hue, exuding an enticing sheen; the Spicy Boiled Pork Slices steamed invitingly, with chili peppers and red oil complementing each other beautifully; the Braised Lion's Head meatballs were round and plump, radiating a unique charm from the plate.
Liu Yan's culinary skills were truly remarkable, with color, aroma, flavor, and presentation all perfectly balanced. My fingers involuntarily twitched, and I swallowed hard as my throat tightened with anticipation.
Like a whirlwind, I eagerly sat down at the table and began to devour the food voraciously. My chopsticks flew about as I stuffed my cheeks full, leaving not a single morsel behind.
After finishing my meal, I leaned back in my chair, satisfied. I reached into my pocket for a cigarette, lit it with my lighter, took a deep drag, and slowly exhaled several smoke rings.
Liu Yan sat across from me, her eyes fixed on me without blinking, a hint of something special glimmering in her gaze.
I felt a warmth spread through my body under her watchful eyes and shifted uncomfortably in my seat. I asked her, "What's wrong?"
She smiled, her eyes narrowing into crescent shapes like a new moon, her expression carrying a blend of allure and shyness.
Leaning closer to me, she spoke softly like a fragrant breeze, "Shall we revisit that dream from that day?"
My heart raced wildly as if it might leap out of my throat.
Suddenly standing up in excitement, I embraced this enchanting woman and fell onto her clean bed that smelled delightful. I kissed every inch of her body passionately, my hands roaming freely over her skin as I surrendered to the moment.
Again and again!
As I collapsed beside Liu Yan, utterly exhausted, she still seemed unsatisfied, gently wrapping her legs around me and subtly twisting her body in an attempt to catch my attention.
Finally, she closed her eyes, and I suddenly felt a bit parched. Slowly, I got up, straightening my clothes as I made my way to the kitchen, hoping to find something to quench my thirst.
I opened the refrigerator and bent down to rummage through its contents. At the very bottom, I spotted a black plastic bag that seemed to contain something. Curiously, I reached out, grabbed the bag, and opened it to take a look…
I returned to the bed holding a bottle of mineral water, my brow slightly furrowed as I pondered.
At that moment, Liu Yan stirred awake. Blinking sleepily, she saw me and immediately wrapped herself around me like a snake, pressing tightly against my body.
She murmured, “Darling, I want more!”
Summoning all my strength, I pulled her into my embrace once again and launched an assault on her.
In a particularly intense moment, I felt her body trembling uncontrollably. My blood surged with excitement as I yearned to unleash my power. Just as I was about to reach the peak of pleasure, I inadvertently caught sight of a glimmering blade reflected in the mirror across from the bed!
It was clutched in Liu Yan's pale hand!
My mind jolted as if doused with cold water; I instantly became alert. With wide eyes, I reached out with lightning speed and firmly grasped her wrist.

"How did you know I would kill you?" she asked again.
I let out a cold laugh and replied, "Because I've always known that you are the real murderer."
She seemed to break down a little, her body swaying slightly, despair filling her eyes. "Why don't you believe what I'm saying?"
I smiled, a smirk laced with mockery and pride.
On the night she seduced me, just before I entered the duty room, my Bald Director called me into his office, where a man was waiting for me.
This man was the Big Shot. He had already communicated with my director and wanted me to find a time to release Liu Yan.
He knew that Liu Yan was the one who killed that woman, but since Liu Yan never revealed his identity, he used all his connections to get Liu Yan into Dandelion Hospital instead of facing legal consequences.
The dead woman was a new mistress of this esteemed Big Shot. He had planned to enjoy some time with her at Fragrant Nest while Liu Yan returned to his hometown, but unexpectedly, Liu Yan came back early.
Liu Yan was truly a terrifying woman, as ruthless as a Viper. Right in front of the Big Shot, she stabbed that woman to death.
She had made an agreement with the Big Shot: he had to release her within two months; otherwise, she would expose all the truths.
With no other choice, the Big Shot turned to me for help.
Liu Yan looked at me with an unusual gaze. "You already knew. So why didn't you tell me when I went to find that man? Why didn't you warn me that he was the one who saved me? Instead, you let me go after him! You knew I was going to kill him!"
I narrowed my eyes into slits and slowly said, "Well, he’s not a good person anyway. It wouldn’t be a loss if he died. People like him deserve to die!"
I crossed my arms and maintained an indifferent expression.
Liu Yan asked again, "How do you know I want to kill you? Why don't you believe that I would go back to the hospital with you?"
As I stood up and picked up a rope from beside the bed, I replied, "Once someone has come out, no one wants to go back to the hospital. That's something everyone knows. More importantly, I just found a black plastic bag in your refrigerator. When I opened it, I discovered a frozen, stiff woman's head! I've realized that it's the head of that dead woman! You are a woman with a Venomous Woman; how could you let me go?"
With determination in my eyes, I quickly tied her to the bed with the rope, securing a tight knot.
I took out my phone and swiftly swiped across the screen to dial 110.
Before long, I heard the sound of police sirens coming from downstairs, growing louder and more piercing as they approached.
Liu Yan's expression darkened, her eyes hollow as she gazed at me and asked, "Was today's meal good?"
I nodded and said, "It was delicious. I've never had such good food before. It's a pity that I'll never have the chance to taste it again."
In my words, I felt an inexplicable sadness wash over me. I sighed softly, a hint of regret flashing in my eyes.
Liu Yan laughed despairingly, her laughter tinged with a certain recklessness.

When the police entered the room, they were taken aback to find me leaning against the headboard, vomiting violently onto the floor, which was now covered in filth. My face was pale, and my body trembled slightly.
