As a Demon God who had lived for a thousand years, even when suppressed by the High Monk beneath the Buddhist Temple, enduring the sounds of chanting every day, it refused to submit—especially not to a young man from Huaxia.
"You are strong, more than I expected. But you have your trump cards, and I have mine. If you want to fight to the end, I will accompany you," the Eastern Deity said coldly. It devoured the Earthly Fiendish Aura, growing larger and larger, resembling a massive black cloud floating in the air.
Though it felt wary of Jiang Chen, it had enough confidence in itself. It was a Demon God; as long as resentment existed, it would not perish. Even cannon fire could not kill it, nor could fierce flames burn it away. Unless Jiang Chen possessed enough strength to seal and suppress it.
"The game is about to end; there's no need for you to accompany me," Jiang Chen chuckled lightly. The Eastern Deity's power was indeed formidable, and killing it would not be easy. Even Spirit Fire would struggle to consume the Eastern Deity's resentment; after all, it was a Millennium Ghost God with considerable power. If only Jiang Chen could elevate his cultivation level one more notch and set up a large Spirit Fire Formation, he could completely annihilate the Eastern Deity. But for now, using ordinary Spirit Fire was insufficient.

The tourists holding binoculars on the Mountain Peak looked down into the valley with expressions of panic. They found it hard to comprehend Jiang Chen's presence. The Eastern Deity's terrifying strength was understandable; after all, it was a Demon God. But Jiang Chen—a mere human—despite his exceptional martial talent, possessed such overwhelming power that it seemed almost superhuman.
If they hadn’t witnessed it with their own eyes, no one would believe that a young man could wield such astonishing abilities that could make even a Demon God tremble.
Fortunately for the Eastern Deity, it was not without its own cards to play. The two sides seemed poised for a stalemate for some time.
The world was eerily quiet; even the wind had ceased, as if time itself had come to a standstill. Tengye Kikuko and Du Guanghua stood exposed without the cover of boulders, nervously watching.
"Eastern Deity, this Mount Buddha is your territory; then I shall borrow this Mount Buddha for my use," Jiang Chen spoke clearly, his voice echoing through the valley.
Upon hearing Jiang Chen's somewhat perplexing words, the ghostly face hidden within the black mist of the Eastern Deity suddenly froze.
"What do you intend to do? Are you planning to move mountains?" The Eastern Deity's tone grew noticeably serious.
"No need to move mountains to deal with you," Jiang Chen smiled and then turned his gaze toward the main peak of Mount Buddha—a dormant volcano that hadn't erupted in over a century and was capped with snow, presenting quite a picturesque scene.
Stepping into the void, Jiang Chen took a single step and found himself a mile away, walking toward the main peak of Mount Buddha. In less than ten steps, he arrived at the base of the peak and gazed up at the volcano's crater at its summit.
The Eastern Deity stared at Jiang Chen, unable to discern his intentions. Du Guanghua and Tengye Kikuko also looked on curiously at what Jiang Chen was about to do.
