"Power comes from Hatred?!" I was puzzled when the voice of the Void Spirit echoed within me once more. "Hatred deceives, Hatred betrays, Hatred kills—everything that fills you with anger in this world!" 0

As the words of the Void Spirit resonated, a surge of intense Killing Intent erupted within me. The betrayal of my friend and Gu Kai's ruthless slaughter of the innocent transformed into an overwhelming fury that consumed my heart. 0

The power of the Void Spirit, which had been suppressed until now, burst forth like a flood, and I could feel it breaking through its seal. 0

I gritted my teeth and thrust the tip of the Crimson Spirit Sword into my chest. 0

In an instant, a searing heat filled my body, and black lightning radiated outward in all directions. "Is this the power of Hatred?!" I felt a flicker of fear even towards the strength I possessed. 0

I withdrew the sword from my chest and gazed at the massive Black Sphere suspended in mid-air, infused with Soul Burial energy. "I can do this!" 0

Without waiting for further instructions from the Void Spirit, I charged forward. Just as time seemed to freeze, I reached the base of the Black Sphere. 0

Li Zhisheng saw me and shouted with his remaining consciousness, "Shen Xu, run! I'm no longer someone you can contend with! You'll die!" 0

"I'll die? Open your eyes and watch closely!" With that, I lowered my stance and leaped upward with all my might, instantly plunging into the Black Sphere. 0

Inside that sphere, I swung Jiang Ling at breakneck speed. A flash of sword light sliced through the air, shattering the Black Sphere into countless fragments that fell like black snowflakes. 0

A fierce glint flashed in my eyes as I addressed Li Zhisheng before me. "If I can't save you, then I'll kill you myself!" 0

Li Zhisheng, whether due to his consciousness being suppressed by Soul Burial or having been completely consumed by it, let out roars like a wild beast. His blood-red eyes locked onto me as he lunged forward with incredible speed—so different from when he fought Gu Kai. 0

Seeing no way to evade him, I swung Jiang Ling directly at him. A black Slash Mark emerged and raced toward Li Zhisheng's face. He disregarded it entirely and shattered the Slash Mark with a casual block before unleashing a powerful punch that rushed toward me like a gale. 0

If it had been me when the Void Spirit first awakened, that punch would have turned me into mush. But today was different; I swiftly countered with a strike to the side. Using the recoil from my sword's energy, I spun around violently and kicked Li Zhisheng away, sending him flying a hundred meters through the air. 0

Before he could regain his bearings, I unleashed dozens of Slash Marks in his direction to inflict serious damage. 0

To my surprise, Li Zhisheng's Soul Burial was formidable; not only did he stabilize himself mid-flight, but he also gathered another Black Sphere in his hand. Just as I released my Slash Marks, he hurled it back at me. 0

The Slash Mark collided with the Black Sphere in an explosive clash that caused both to shrink dramatically before erupting with a deafening boom that sent both Li Zhisheng and me crashing to the ground. 0

At that moment, I suddenly remembered there were still many villagers in this village. If this battle continued, those villagers might lose their lives because of us. 0

Thinking of this, I sprang up from the ground like a carp and hurried towards Li Zhisheng, a cloud of dust rising behind me. 0

Before Li Zhisheng could get up, I had already closed the distance. I grabbed him by the collar and, with a sudden burst of strength, hurled him away. I followed closely behind, shouting, "Li Zhisheng! Are you really willing to be consumed like this?! You are a descendant of the founder of the Yin Master; how can you let something created by your own family devour you without a fight?" 0

Upon hearing my words, Li Zhisheng displayed an expression of extreme pain. Seeing that it had an effect, I was about to continue when unexpectedly he seized the opportunity to launch a counterattack, striking me squarely in the chest. 0

I let out a muffled groan as I crashed into a large rock, blood spewing from my mouth. I immediately felt my internal strength wane. 0

Shaking my head to clear the dizziness from the impact and spitting out blood, I looked up to find Li Zhisheng's whereabouts, only to see three Black Spheres glowing faintly as they flew towards me. 0

Realizing the danger, I quickly steadied myself, gently tossed Jiang Ling into the air and caught her with one hand. Aiming at the three approaching Black Spheres, I swept her down fiercely, unleashing a massive Slash Mark that cleaved the three Black Spheres in half. 0

However, the Slash Mark did not stop there; it continued on its path toward Li Zhisheng. He showed no fear as he faced the incoming Slash Mark but instead charged forward to meet it, dispersing it merely through the force of his momentum. 0

I cursed under my breath, "Why is my power diminishing so quickly?" The Void Spirit heard my thoughts and replied impatiently, "Did I not tell you?! Hatred! Your earlier actions have lessened your own Hatred as well. If you lack sufficient resolve, then facing your enemy means certain death for you, and you will save no one!" 0

Upon hearing this, a flicker of self-Hatred arose within me—Hatred for my own impotence, Hatred for my own weakness, Hatred for everything about myself! 0

"Ah!" I roared into the void as dark lightning crackled around me, becoming darker than the night sky itself, spreading outward as if to tear apart space. 0

"Only slaughter can stop slaughter; only death can end death..." I murmured softly, my heart almost entirely consumed by darkness. 0

At that moment, facing Li Zhisheng who was charging at me with a fierce expression and glowing red eyes, I felt not an ounce of fear. 0

With a grim expression on my face, I whispered, "Die..." With unprecedented speed, I leaped towards Li Zhisheng. 0

As I brushed past him, Jiang Ling in my hand unleashed countless slashes upon him. Li Zhisheng was completely unaware that he had already sustained serious injuries. 0

Seeing me pass by him, he turned to pursue me. Just as he pivoted around, black energy rapidly spread from his body, causing blood to splatter everywhere. With a thud, Li Zhisheng collapsed into the stream outside the village, blood flowing down with the water and staining the once-clear stream red. 0

I stood not far away and flicked the blood off my sword before walking towards Li Zhisheng's fallen form. 0

Looking at my friend lying on the ground, I felt no regret whatsoever; in fact, there were no emotions left in my heart. 0

The Void Spirit roared within me, "Haha! This is it... this is it! Isn't this the power you crave?" I stood by the creek, staring blankly at the motionless Li Zhisheng, my hand instinctively raising Jiang Ling. 0

Just as I was about to strike down at his neck, a somewhat familiar voice called out from nearby, "Yes! Yes! Chop down, kill him!" I looked up to see the fake Wang Po. 0

Although she looked exactly like the real Wang Po, I could now see a sinister Void Spirit coiling around her body. 0

I coldly remarked, "Oh? Do you want to die first?" The fake Wang Po paused for a moment, and before she could react, I had already walked past her, dozens of tendrils of black mist spreading across her body. 0

"I..." The fake Wang Po tried to say something, but before the words left her mouth, she shattered into pieces like the carrot chunks she had cut. 0

I cast a disdainful glance at the pile of mangled flesh on the ground and returned to Li Zhisheng's side. "Now that those who disturbed me are dead, it's your turn..." With that, I raised Jiang Ling once more, the black blade glimmering with an eerie light under the moon. 0

"Wait!" Accompanied by the shout, four white orbs flew toward me. Before I could discern who they were from, the orbs struck my limbs. 0

In an instant, a surge of white light rapidly spread over my hands and feet. When I tried to move again, I found myself immobilized. 0

This only fueled my anger further. "Why does everyone keep interrupting me!" I shouted as I unleashed my inner power; the black mist immediately engulfed the white light binding my limbs. At the same time, I swung my sword from top to bottom, sending a massive Slash Mark flying in the direction of the white light, carving a deep trench in the ground. 0

Just then, another voice rang out urgently, "It's me, Shen Xu! Don't you recognize me?!" There was a hint of tears in her voice. 0

"Hu... Hu Fang?" Hearing that voice brought some clarity back to me. As I focused, I saw that Hu Fang was supporting Wang Po as they stood there. 0

"Hu Fang! Run!" I shouted and rushed toward the path of the Slash Mark. But it was too late; just as I took two steps forward, the Slash Mark had already reached them. 0

I knew all too well that if this Slash Mark hit Hu Fang and Wang Po, they would be obliterated. My heart raced with anxiety; no matter how fast I tried to move, it was impossible to catch up. 0

In that critical moment, Wang Po pulled a talisman from her pocket. She held it between her fingers and began chanting an incantation. 0

Suddenly, she hurled the talisman toward the Slash Mark. To my astonishment, its overwhelming momentum halted upon contact with the talisman. Although it stopped moving forward, it did not disappear. Wang Po showed no signs of relaxation and continued chanting fervently. 0

As Wang Po struggled more and more, beads of sweat rolled down her forehead. But thanks to this brief moment she bought for me, I dashed to the side of the Slash Mark. Gathering my strength in my hand, I swung down hard at it with my sword. 0

In an instant, two pitch-black Slash Marks collided with a thunderous boom that sent all three of us crashing to the ground. 0

I was unharmed thanks to the protection of the Void Spirit's power. I hurriedly got up from the ground and shouted, "Hu Fang! Where are you?" 0

From the nearby bushes came Hu Fang's intermittent voice, "I'm... here." 0

I rushed over and saw Hu Fang and Wang Po lying on their backs on the ground. Wang Po, already injured, had worsened her condition with this fall. She pressed one hand against her chest, coughed once, and spat out a mouthful of blood. Hu Fang also had blood trickling from the corner of his mouth; it seemed they were both seriously hurt. 0

I pounded my thigh in frustration. "It's all my fault! All my fault!" 0

Hu Fang reached out and grabbed my hand, saying, "Don't worry, I'm fine. But where is Li Zhisheng?" 0

Upon hearing this, I turned back toward the stream where Li Zhisheng had fallen, but there was no sign of him there. I started to panic a little. "I've used up a lot of power; if Li Zhisheng has recovered..." 0

Just then, I heard Li Zhisheng's voice behind me. He spoke in an Evil Spirit-like tone, "Are you... looking for me?!" 0
