Li Zhisheng heard the sound and pushed himself off the ground with one hand, springing up. In one hand, he gathered a Black Sphere, while the other seemed to be condensing power into a single point, intending to pierce through the Minotaur's arm. 0

At that moment, the monster in the black mist suddenly extended all its arms towards Li Zhisheng's position. "Watch out!" I exclaimed. 0

Seeing no way to evade, and with his hand still gathering power, Li Zhisheng couldn't reach out to block. Just as those massive hands were mere inches away from him, he suddenly sidestepped, aligning his shoulder with the monster's outstretched arm. 0

There was a sharp crack, and I knew Li Zhisheng's shoulder might have been broken. However, I didn't expect him to minimize the damage by using his momentum to turn. Unfortunately, the monster's strength was overwhelming, and it sent Li Zhisheng flying through the air. 0

Seeing this, I rushed forward to catch him before he hit the ground. "Are you okay?!" 0

He gritted his teeth. "I can't use my left hand; it feels like several bones are broken." I noticed his left hand hung limply at his side, blood dripping from his fingertips. 0

"Are we really going to die here?!" I felt despair creeping in, but Li Zhisheng refused to give up. "I can't use my left hand, but I still have my right!" With that, he suddenly became fierce and unleashed the power he had condensed into a point. 0

"What are you aiming at?!" I was astonished as I watched him target the wall. 0

"I'm hitting right here!" Li Zhisheng declared as he fired a beam of black light at the wall. Instantly, a large hole was blasted open next to the door. 0

"Run!" Hearing Li Zhisheng's shout snapped me back to reality; he intended for us to escape through that opening. Without hesitation, I helped him rush through the breach. 0

As soon as we burst outside, we saw that the Undead outside had been drawn in by the sounds of our struggle. They gathered at the entrance, their hollow eyes fixated on Li Zhisheng and me. 0

"Quickly, let's go! Don't mind them!" Li Zhisheng urged through gritted teeth. 0

"I know we need to hurry, but where do we go?!" I felt lost and unsure of where to run. 0

Just then, a heavy thudding sound echoed from the house behind me, each step so weighty that I could feel the ground trembling beneath it. 0

"Forget where we're going, just get out of here quickly! If that Ox-Head catches up to us, we won't be able to escape!" Li Zhisheng urged anxiously. 0

At that moment, my first instinct was to return to the room where Hu Fang had been. With that thought in mind, I charged forward, shoving aside the Undead blocking my path and running for my life. 0

The instant I burst through the crowd, a loud crash resounded behind me. Debris flew everywhere, and several sharp stones struck my hands and feet, causing pain that nearly made me stumble. 0

I realized that the Minotaur had broken through the wall. There was no time to think about anything else; I sprinted desperately to the door of Hu Fang's room. As soon as I opened it, I pulled Li Zhisheng inside with me and kicked the door shut behind us. 0

Inside, Hu Fang was curled up in a corner. When she saw us burst in, she jumped up in shock. "What... what happened? You came back so soon..." But then she noticed the blood on Li Zhisheng's hands and gasped in horror. "What happened? How are you hurt? Were you discovered?!" 0

Her words ignited my anger. I released Li Zhisheng and pointed an accusing finger at Hu Fang. "How dare you ask us what happened! If it weren't for the room you told us about, we wouldn't have ended up like this! What are your true intentions? Are you even really Hu Fang?!" 0

Seeing my fierce expression, Hu Fang looked flustered. She stammered, "Shen Xu, listen to me! I swear I didn't deceive you! There really is a staircase there; I escaped through it! I don't know what you encountered, but I never meant to harm you! It's really me!" 0

As she spoke, she took a step closer to me. I noticed tears glistening in her eyes and her face bore an expression of deep grievance that stirred a sense of sympathy within me. 0

However, having been deceived multiple times before, I remained unmoved by her display. Coldly, I replied, "Don't try that with me. We went through the door you mentioned and found a Minotaur waiting for us inside. We nearly lost our lives because of it. If you're not trying to trap us, then there's only one possibility: you're not really Hu Fang!" My voice was sharp as I slowly backed away, wary of any sudden attack from her. 0

Hu Fang showed no signs of anger at my accusation; instead, she appeared even more pitiful. She silently retreated to the wall and lowered her head. 0

Now confused, I thought about how those who had previously tried to deceive me—whether they were Evil Spirits or humans—had all revealed their true forms when confronted. Moreover, with Li Zhisheng injured and my weapon nowhere in sight, this would have been the perfect opportunity for her to attack. Yet she did nothing... 0

Just then, Li Zhisheng spoke up from beside me. "Maybe it's not about whether she's Hu Fang or not; perhaps we've misunderstood... Think about it: when we left, we were facing away from the main door. The left side where Hu Fang was could very well be facing the door itself. In other words, we went in the opposite direction from where Hu Fang was! Is that right, Hu Fang?" 0

Li Zhisheng looked at Hu Fang, who was leaning against the wall. Upon hearing this, Hu Fang thought for a moment and nodded, saying, "That's right, it's your misunderstanding, and now you're blaming me!" 0

At that moment, I suddenly realized what had happened, and my excitement quickly subsided. I looked at Hu Fang with guilt and said, "Yes, I'm sorry. It's my fault; I wronged you. It's all because I didn't ask clearly back then." With that, I raised my hand and slapped myself hard across the face. 0

Seeing me apologize to Hu Fang, Li Zhisheng interjected with a tone of surprise, "Wait a minute, I'm the one who's injured here. Shouldn't you be apologizing to me?" 0

As Li Zhisheng took the opportunity to tease me, I replied, "It's all my fault; it's all my fault. I've caused you both to get hurt and endure this injustice... Is that enough? Do you want me to die to atone for it?" 0

After hearing this, Li Zhisheng sighed and changed his joking demeanor to a serious one. "Right now, it's not about who is hurt or not. Ox-Head has been released, and there are so many 'Walking Dead' outside. How are we going to escape?" 0

I thought for a moment and said, "We definitely can't go back that way. Not only is Ox-Head there, but there are also so many 'Walking Dead.' Our options are limited to two: either return to the level we were in before or check out the level where Hu Fang is." 0

Upon hearing this, Li Zhisheng smiled wryly. "If we go by your reasoning, we actually have only one choice left because the level where we were imprisoned has only one cell. You've already checked each one individually, haven't you?" 0
