I picked one up and muttered to myself, "So you mean we should look for clues in the implantation method and the reactions that occurred afterward?" Hearing this, the Death Apostle nodded.
I then turned around and sat back down at the computer. At that moment, the video had finished playing, and an annoying advertisement popped up on the screen. Seeing this, I quickly reopened the video and skipped back to the scene I had missed.
There was a woman whose abdomen had been opened up; due to her struggles, her intestines were spilling out through the wound. Eventually, under the influence of the Guiding Wood, she began to cough up blood before leading into the content I had already seen.
I dragged the video forward a bit, and at that moment, the woman was completely dead. The rather stiff man sighed in frustration, "I've failed. Our last hope rests on you... whether it is life or death, let fate decide. Go ahead..."
With that, another man silently nodded, then raised the glimmering surgical knife and walked toward the bound man.
