Hearing that Li Yu was going to lend a hand, I was naturally overjoyed. However, I quickly reconsidered; Yin Master had not intervened in such matters for many years, and there must be some hidden reason behind it. Although I desperately wanted Li Yu's help, I did not wish to put him in a difficult position.
At that moment, Li Zhisheng was also astonished, his mouth agape. He thought he had misheard and incredulously asked, "Father, you are going to help us?!"

I felt moved as well and said, "If it is truly as you say, that the mark on me will bring disaster to this world, then I might as well die. After all, sacrificing oneself to save the masses is a duty I cannot shirk."
Seeing my resolute stance, Li Yu sighed and said, "Buddy, matters of the yin and yang realms are far more complicated than you imagine. If your death could resolve everything, I would have killed you just now instead of discussing this with you."
"Is it because the Nine Star Life Diagram grants immortality?" Li Zhisheng interjected.
"Not quite. Although it is rumored that the Nine Star Life Diagram can grant immortality, ancient texts state that this diagram can only protect its host. When the host suffers fatal injuries, it will extend their life. However, killing them is quite easy. Do you two know about a fire called Karmic Fire? Using this flame can completely destroy your friend."
Li Yu raised his hand, and a white flame slowly emerged from it. Though the flame appeared gentle, one could sense an immense power within it. Wrapped in its glow, I felt that even a mere touch would incinerate me instantly.
As I thought about this, a sense of fear gradually crept into my heart, causing me to instinctively take a few steps back. Noticing my trepidation, Li Yu retracted the sun-like flame and said, "Don't be afraid; I won't harm you because I know that turning you to ashes would serve no purpose—the Nine Stars would not simply disappear."
"Why?! If I die, won't the Nine Stars vanish immediately?" I asked in surprise.
"The Karmic Fire in my hand can only burn your soul and body to ashes but cannot destroy your Void Spirit. This would lead to the Nine Stars seeking out a new host again. Finding that person would be nearly impossible..."
"Is there no other way?! Right now, I have no idea what is inside the Third Box and cannot guarantee that whatever is in there will eliminate the Nine Stars. If you end up clashing with Yang Master and get injured or..." I said.
I wasn't finished yet when Li Yu raised his hand to interrupt me, saying, "In anything, if you don't take action, you'll never know the outcome. Now that we know the Box might be able to eliminate it, why not give it a try?" Li Yu's voice suddenly rose, "I've rested long enough; it's time to move these old bones of mine and settle things with Yang Master’s people. It's been thirty years!"
With that, Li Yu's body trembled violently, and in an instant, a flash of white light surged forth. The dragon that was originally embroidered on his clothing came to life. This dragon, pure as jade and exuding an extraordinary aura, circled around Li Yu, making him appear like a king descending from above.
"You..." Even Li Zhisheng had never witnessed such a scene. He was so startled that he lost his balance and fell to the ground. I quickly stepped back a few paces, fearing I might be harmed by that terrifying presence.
Li Yu saw my astonishment and said, "Buddy, you shouldn't be surprised. The Void Spirit within you should be no less than mine..."
Upon hearing this, I hurriedly waved my hands and said, "No, no, no! You are being modest; your strength is far beyond what someone like me can aspire to..." As I spoke, I glanced around and noticed that the bookshelves had been shaken against the walls.
"Don't you know that the Void Spirit within you is also one of the Nine Void Deities? Although I'm not sure who it is, I can clearly sense the immense potential of your Void Spirit within you. Your power is definitely on par with mine," Li Yu continued. At that moment, I felt my own Void Spirit starting to stir restlessly within me. In an instant, a surge of power erupted from my body. The Void Spirit manifested itself without me encountering any danger.
"Who is this person? Why does his power awaken me?!" my Void Spirit asked anxiously within me.
"He is the father of my friend; from what he said, it seems he also possesses a Void God..." I replied.
Upon hearing this, I sensed my Void Spirit becoming somewhat flustered. Its anxious emotions caused its power to surge uncontrollably within me.
"Since you're awake, why not come out and meet him?" Li Yu seemed to be addressing my Void Spirit.
"Do you want to go out?" I asked my Void Spirit in my mind.
It feigned calmness and replied, "Although I don't know him, since he's like this, I must go meet him..."
With that thought in mind, I relinquished control of my body to the Void Spirit. As soon as it emerged, it gathered a Black Sphere in its hand and looked disdainfully at Li Yu before asking, "Who are you?!"
Li Yu smiled and said, "I will not change my name or alter my surname; my surname is Li, and my given name is Yu!" Suddenly, he surged forward, swiftly closing the distance between us. He gathered a ball of white flame in his hand and without hesitation, hurled it directly at me.
At that moment, I realized that if I were hit, I would indeed be reduced to ashes as he claimed! Before I could warn Void Spirit, he unleashed all his power. Dark lightning erupted around me like sharp blades.
Immediately, Void Spirit concentrated his energy to form a pitch-black longsword in his hand. He then reversed the grip and held it diagonally in front of him.
In an instant, the white light and Black Light intertwined, releasing a tremendous energy that blasted large holes into the walls on either side.
However, as the standoff continued, I noticed that Void Spirit's strength was gradually waning. A look of anxiety began to spread across my face.
Just as Void Spirit was about to falter and the Black Sword conjured from his power started to fade, Li Yu unexpectedly laughed. With that laughter, he forcefully pushed me backward with the ball of flame in his hand, sending me crashing to the ground.
At this point, Li Zhisheng, who had fallen to the ground, became anxious. He hurriedly got up and stood in front of me. "Dad! What are you doing?!"
