"What happened?!" I exclaimed as I looked out the window. Our vehicle was currently on a rugged mountain road, with a steep drop of several meters on one side and a sheer cliff on the other. The car was violently swaying back and forth on the narrow road, barely over three meters wide, and it felt like we could tumble off the edge at any moment. 0

"Oh no, it looks like we have a flat tire!" Haoyang said in panic. 0

"Everyone, hold on to anything you can!" the driver shouted without turning his head, desperately trying to control the steering wheel and stabilize the vehicle. 0

However, we were going downhill, and with so much gravel on the road, there was no way to regain control; we could only let the car accelerate uncontrollably downwards. 0

At that moment, two young men and women sitting in front of Li Zhisheng and Haoyang began to panic. The woman kept clutching the man's shirt, crying out, "I don't want to die! Think of something!" 0

The man ignored her cries and suddenly stood up. He reached for the fire axe hanging in front of him and smashed it through the window beside him before leaping out without a second thought. 0

Seeing this, the woman hurriedly followed suit, trying to escape through the window as well. But at that speed, with the car swerving wildly, there was a loud crash as one side of the vehicle slammed into the cliff, instantly crushing the man who had just jumped out into a bloody mess. 0

The woman who had tried to follow him was also caught half out of the window when they collided, resulting in her being severed in two. Blood splattered both inside and outside the vehicle, filling the air with a strong metallic scent. 0

The sequence of events had unfolded too quickly for me to intervene; I could only watch helplessly as they met their tragic fates. 0

Yet even after this collision, the car did not stop. Instead, it screeched against the mountainside, creating a piercing sound that mingled with the terrified screams of those inside. 0

In an instant, many people panicked; some lost their sanity from fear and rushed from their seats toward the driver's cabin, attempting to grab onto the steering wheel alongside him to regain control. 0

But things went awry. With too many people rushing forward and the vehicle being so unstable, several lost their balance and crashed against the windshield. 0

In that moment, there was a loud bang as those individuals shattered the front windshield and fell out of the vehicle, getting caught under its wheels. 0

The driver was stunned by this sudden turn of events and momentarily lost his wits. This caused what little control he had over the vehicle to slip away completely. 0

Then came a whoosh as the car flew off the edge of the cliff. Inside the cabin, it felt as if time had frozen; those who had been screaming fell silent. The vehicle began its rapid descent. As we crashed violently several times during our fall, I rolled around inside without any sense of where I was or whether I was alive or dead. All I could see were splashes of blood and dismembered limbs rolling around in the cabin… 0

“Shen, Shen Xu…” I don’t know how long it has been, but a voice calling my name echoed in my mind. “Shen Xu, are you still alive?!” Along with the shouting, I felt someone gently shaking my body. 0

“Where is this?” I struggled to open my eyes and saw a bloodied face in front of me. Instinctively, I wanted to retreat, but something seemed to have struck my leg, and any movement sent a wave of intense pain coursing through me. 0

“Don’t be afraid, it’s me…” As the voice continued, I focused and realized that the bloodied person was Haoyang. “Can you move?” he asked with concern. 0

Now that I had regained consciousness, I felt as if my body had fallen apart; every part of me ached terribly. “It’s a bit difficult…” I replied weakly, then suddenly thought of Li Zhisheng and hurriedly asked Haoyang, “What about Li Zhisheng? Where is he?!” 0

Haoyang responded, “I just checked on him. He was luckier; it seems he didn’t suffer any serious injuries, but he’s still unconscious. However, his breathing is normal.” 0

“That’s good…” Just as I thought to get up, my body refused to cooperate, and the sharp pain surged through me like electricity, causing me to break out in a cold sweat. 0

Seeing how difficult it was for me, Haoyang assessed my condition before lifting me up and moving me aside. It was then that I noticed the sky had completely darkened, with a bright full moon hanging above. 0

In the moonlight, I saw dozens of bodies lying on the ground—uncertain whether they were dead or alive. The wrecked vehicle lay not far away in the stream, continuously leaking bright red liquid that stained the water crimson. 0

After settling me down, Haoyang limped over to the pile of people and carried one back to my side—it was Li Zhisheng. 0

I quickly took advantage of the moonlight to look at Li Zhisheng. Although he was covered in bloodstains, his clothes were not severely damaged; it seemed to be blood from others. The only visible wounds were some cuts on his cheek, which didn’t appear too serious. 0

“Li Zhisheng! Li Zhisheng! Wake up!” Unable to shake him due to the pain in my limbs, I could only shout loudly at him. 0

After calling out several times without any response from him, I urged Haoyang to get some water to wake him up. 0

Haoyang nodded and hurriedly took off his shirt to fetch some water from the stream. He splashed some onto Li Zhisheng's face. Moments later, a low groan emerged from Li Zhisheng as he slowly began to regain consciousness. 0

“Li Zhisheng, are you okay?!” I asked anxiously. He frowned, raised his hand to rub his head, and with a confused expression asked, “Where am I? Am I in the Underworld?” 0

“Don’t worry, you’re not dead yet!” I replied. 0

Upon hearing this, Li Zhisheng looked around and said, “Are those people… all dead?” 0

As soon as he finished speaking, a voice came from the pile of bodies: “I’m not dead yet…” It was a woman’s voice, weak and seemingly injured quite badly. 0

“Haoyang, go check it out!” Since I couldn’t move, I had to ask Haoyang to take my place. 0

Haoyang agreed and rushed over without hesitation. However, just as he reached the pile of bodies, he froze in place, as if he had seen something wrong. 0

Meanwhile, the woman’s voice continued to come from the pile: “Please help me…” 0
