"How could this happen?! Is it really true what the Void Spirit said, that place doesn't have any Wandering Spirits or Wild Ghosts at all? That's impossible; even after death, there should be ghosts..." I muttered to myself as I watched the words I had just written completely vanish before my eyes. 0

Just then, a voice came from behind me. It was the Death Apostle: "You're back. Did you find any clues about Onizuka?" 0

I turned around to see the Death Apostle leaning against the door, clutching his stomach and looking quite uncomfortable. "Nothing at all. It seems this matter has nothing to do with Onizuka from start to finish..." I replied, feeling a bit dejected. 0

The Death Apostle sighed in response. "Looks like it was all for nothing..." Before he could finish, a gurgling sound came from his abdomen, and his face turned pale as he hurried back to the bathroom, clutching his stomach. 0

Seeing him like this made me want to laugh and cry at the same time, but I couldn't show it. Instead, I shouted, "There seems to be some stomach medicine in the living room; you should go take some." After saying that, I put away the Sheepskin Book in front of me and sighed as I looked at the mark on my hand. 0

After putting away the Sheepskin Book, I walked out of the room and saw Li Zhisheng, Haoyang, Hu Fang, and Yao Long sitting on the sofa in the living room. Li Zhisheng was recounting our recent experiences to them while Hu Fang and Yao Long listened intently. 0

I didn't interrupt Li Zhisheng but instead sat down on my own and picked up the remote control, flipping through the TV channels. 0

After changing channels for a while, I stopped on a news program that was reporting on the landslide we had encountered. 0

"Due to a landslide, many people in the town have died, resulting in significant property damage. Rescue efforts are still proceeding in an orderly manner; specific casualty figures are pending further statistics..." 0

Listening to this, I thought to myself that it was obvious those buried under the landslide had died under abnormal circumstances, yet the news didn't mention it at all. It seemed they wouldn't release any information until a thorough investigation was completed. Perhaps this was for the best; it could prevent public panic... 0

As I pondered this, Li Zhisheng seemed to have finished explaining everything to them. After hearing him out, Hu Fang didn't appear particularly surprised; perhaps she had become accustomed to such events after everything she had been through. 0

"Ah, it's so tragic for those innocent people. They did nothing wrong yet were killed for no reason by the Blood Farmer and buried under the landslide..." Hu Fang said with a sigh. But then she noticed me quietly sitting nearby. "You guys must not have eaten well during this time; let me go get you something to eat." With that, Hu Fang headed toward the kitchen on her own. 0

After hearing this, I felt a bit puzzled and muttered softly, "It's strange. We have food at home, so why order takeout and end up with an upset stomach..." 0

Beside me, Yao Long heard my murmurs and replied with a smile, "Isn't it because of the advertisement? Yesterday, someone slipped a flyer under the door. Mr. Death saw that a new restaurant was having a buy-one-get-one-free promotion. He thought it was a good deal and seemed to want to try the food advertised, so he ordered some, and now look what happened..." 0

Just then, the sound of flushing came from the bathroom, and Death Apostle walked out with a pale face. Yao Long quickly pulled out some stomach medicine for Death Apostle to take, followed by a sip of hot water, which provided some relief. 0

Death Apostle sat on the sofa with a ghostly complexion and weakly said to Haoyang, "Haoyang, why don't you just stay here with us? It’s better to have someone around in case anything happens." 0

Haoyang nodded silently and said, "I don’t want to leave either; I’m just afraid you might not trust me, especially Yao Long..." He glanced at Yao Long. 0

"It's not that I don't trust you; I'm just worried about Mr. Death's safety. What if you're still an undercover agent this time? Tell me, what reason do I have not to be cautious around you?" Yao Long's expression gradually became serious. 0

Hearing this, Death Apostle quickly intervened to ease the tension. "Yao Long, remember that Haoyang helped us once before? Plus, this time he was with Shen Xu and the others; he must have helped them quite a bit too." 0

"No, I really didn’t help much at all. It was Shen Xu and Li Zhisheng who saved me. If it weren’t for them, I might have ended up as a vegetable by now..." Haoyang looked somewhat guilty as he spoke. 0

Upon hearing Haoyang's words, I hurriedly responded, "Don't say that. If it weren't for us and you were acting alone, you probably wouldn't have run into any danger." 0

Just then, Hu Fang's voice came from the kitchen: "The food is ready! Come eat!" With her words came the enticing aroma wafting from the kitchen. Since being rescued by the team, I hadn't eaten anything and was now so hungry that my stomach growled audibly. 0

"Coming!" I quickly replied and turned to everyone sitting on the sofa. "Let's all eat together." 0

Everyone nodded in agreement except for Death Apostle, who held his stomach and smiled wryly. "I'll pass. If I eat anything else, I might just die here. You all go ahead." 0

After listening, I didn't press Death Apostle any further and had no choice but to join the others in the dining hall for a meal. 0

Once we were full, everyone at the table began discussing our next plan. Death Apostle, who had been sitting alone on the sofa, overheard our conversation and came over. 0

"Right now, we have no leads on Onizuka, and there hasn't been any news from Yang Master. Are we just supposed to sit here and do nothing?" I muttered to myself. 0

But Death Apostle replied, "It's not that Yang Master has no movement; rather, they are currently not taking any actions against us. It seems they are dealing with something more important. Since we lack leads and cannot discern their movements, it gives us the illusion that they are inactive." 0

"How do you know this? Is it just a guess?" I asked, confused. 0

"It could be a guess, but based on my years of experience with Yang Master, they must be facing something more troublesome. Otherwise, they wouldn't be ignoring us like this. Think about it; before, Yang Master went to great lengths to try to kill me, yet now they remain silent. They already know I'm alive; unless they've obtained what they wanted and no longer need to kill me, or my existence doesn't pose a significant threat to them anymore." 0

After hearing Death Apostle's words, I fell into deep thought. What Yang Master wanted was nothing less than the book "Divine Anomalies Classic: Nine Star Life and Death Diagram," which was currently at my home. This meant that Yang Master had not obtained what they desired. If what Death Apostle said was true, then Yang Master must be dealing with something very tricky. But what could that be… 0
