At that point, not only would all our efforts be wasted, but they might also seize the opportunity to counterattack us." With that, Li Yu opened the door and left without looking back.
Just as the three of us fell into silence, Hu Fang's voice came from nearby. She stretched lazily and yawned as she walked out of her room. Seeing our serious expressions made it clear to her that something significant had happened.
"What's wrong? You all look so gloomy this early in the morning. Did you eat bitter melon or something?" she asked as she walked over.
Seeing her, I pulled her to the side and sat her down on the sofa. "Just now, Li Zhisheng's father came by. He discussed a plan with us..." I then recounted our earlier conversation to Hu Fang, wanting to hear her opinion.
I thought Hu Fang would be just as torn as we were, but to my surprise, she answered without hesitation, "Of course we should go!
