It seemed she wasn't far from them. She thought this and quickened her steps, taking off in a sprint...

Xiao Qiang broke through the encirclement and rushed to Wen Kai's side, discovering that his leg had been pierced by a steel bar about the thickness of a thumb. Blood flowed uncontrollably; the pain was likely excruciating, making it difficult for him to fight against the Winged Skeleton Mutant.
