The structure of the Mechanical Fusion Body resembled the shape of a human, suspended in a row within the exhibition room. 0

If you weren't mentally prepared to be here, you would surely be terrified, thinking you had stumbled into a human specimen display. 0

Before the massive mechanical bodies, humans appeared insignificant. 0

Standing in front of the mechanical body was the only female member of the Vanguard United Defense Force, designated as Number 22. She held her head high, her eyes fixed unwaveringly on the KT3 mechanical body. 0

Number 22's tightly closed mouth and resolute gaze exuded a powerful confidence: I will conquer it! 0

Amidst a crowd of men, there stood a girl with delicate features and graceful elegance. She truly was a standout… but this was a battlefield, where smoke filled the air and life and death reigned, leaving no distinction between genders. 0

The Cosmic War loomed large, with Bionic Aliens repeatedly appearing on Earth, mercilessly slaughtering weak humans and abducting countless individuals. 0

During the skirmishes, Bionic Aliens shot down several G-97 'Mustang' aircraft. The G-97 'Mustang' utilized technology from high-speed dual-rotor helicopter prototypes. 0

The primary mission of the G-97 'Mustang' was to transport Mechanical Fusion Bodies to engage in combat against the Bionic Aliens. Unlike its predecessors, which were conventional single-rotor helicopters like Sharp Blade and Dragon Rising, the G-97 'Mustang' featured a dual-rotor design and an added propulsion tail rotor, allowing it to fly at twice the speed of conventional helicopters. 0

The World Alliance Rescue Team discreetly dispatched elite forces required by the Vanguard United Army, quietly moving on to their next target. 0

Dozens of countries participated in resisting the invasion of Bionic Aliens on Earth as part of the Alliance Army. War is brutal; all participating members had their past memories erased. 0

Upon joining this vanguard unit, everything began anew for them. They underwent necessary training and adaptation to new armor technology. In their memories, there were no family ties or any concerns. 0

The purpose of erasing memories was to prevent Bionic Aliens from capturing any one of them and using their terrifying appendages to probe their memory banks for military secrets about their forces. 0

Bionic Aliens were akin to demons, adorned with multiple tentacles. Each tentacle could take a life; they typically attacked in groups. Like whirlwinds, they swung their weapons to strike all nearby enemies. 0

Their tentacles could shoot acidic liquid and breathe fire. Their strategies of rolling, crushing, smashing, and burning had proven repeatedly victorious. 0

From space down to the ground, the situation was dire; their invasion threatened the recently revived Earth and all remaining life forms on it. 0

The higher-ups issued orders to locate the lair of the Bionic Aliens. Once found, they could concentrate all their forces for a decisive strike. However, after searching for so long, no one knew where their hidden base was located. They always appeared unexpectedly, eliminating any humans or other creatures that came into view without warning. 0

The G-97 'Mustang' was brought down by flames spewed forth by these Bionic Aliens. The fragile human warriors stood no chance; all perished without exception. 0

At the Vanguard Joint Defense Force camp, a massive poster of Bionic Alien hung prominently on the battlements. 0

The day’s training began with the commanding shouts and synchronized footsteps echoing across the training ground. The soldiers, strangers to one another, stood tall with an air of righteousness, their faces reflecting a mix of determination and the lingering shadows of defeat as they tackled the grueling tasks set before them each day. 0

Once training concluded, the soldiers were granted ten minutes of free time. The intense regimen had transformed their youthful faces into those of seasoned warriors. They gathered together, joking and teasing one another, yet they dared not show any disrespect towards the only goddess in their ranks. 0

Behind closed doors, the men secretly dubbed Soldier 22 with a nickname: Metal Slut, the goddess who risked her life. 0

The Death Goddess wielded a large blade with finesse, slicing through the air with such skill that it sent a chilling breeze around her; no one dared to approach her lightly. 0

However, two newcomers were subtly probing their teammates for information about the Death Goddess. 0

“Who knows her number or real name? I’ll give you this,” one asked, holding out a deck of cards. 0

The soldier being questioned glanced at the cards in his hand. The monotonous military life had left them sleepless at night; what were they thinking about? Nothing at all—just an empty void in their minds that made boredom unbearable. 0

The playing cards were clearly a rare commodity that money couldn’t buy here. “Her? The Death Goddess!” 0

The two newcomers exchanged glances. “N. I want her real name.” 0

“Hmph, the Death Goddess doesn’t have a real name; it’s just Metal Slut,” came the reply as he focused on the cards. “Besides, once you enter here, who remembers anyone else? It feels like we’ve belonged here since we were born.” 0

“Alright! I’m K, number 26,” said K, who consistently wielded an iron rod as his weapon. 0

“I’m L, number 25.” 0

“I’m Lao Mu, number 23.” 0

“Lao Mu, nice name.” 0

“I actually noticed you guys early on; K wields that iron rod with great flair,” Lao Mu remarked as he turned to L. “Why do you always play with your fingers?” As soon as he asked this question, he chuckled inwardly, wondering if this guy was into men. He thought about how K and L were always inseparable—could they be together? 0

“What are you thinking?” K seemed to see through Lao Mu’s teasing thoughts. His expression hardened as his sharp eyes scrutinized Lao Mu’s face beneath his thick brows. 0

"Hey, stop staring at me like that." Lao Mu felt uneasy and waved his hand dismissively, saying, "You all do as you please; I'm going to check over there." Just as he tried to walk away, K suddenly grabbed him and landed a punch on Lao Mu's left cheek. 0

Lao Mu frowned, covering his bruised face in shock. "What are you...?" 0

L gave a knowing look, signaling him, "Don't shout; let's put on a good show." 0

Lao Mu didn't understand what he was trying to do and just kept covering his face, wanting to leave. 0

But K wouldn't let him go, holding on tightly and shouting, "You think you can just walk away after taking my stuff?" 0

The three of them—L, K, and Lao Mu—were arguing loudly, which not only attracted the attention of the soldiers resting nearby but also caught the eye of Death Goddess No. 22. She picked up a stick she had been using to poke at ants and propped herself up curiously to look over at them. 0

"She's watching us," Lao Mu said nervously, his heart racing. 0

"Have you really never seen a woman before?" K teased with a wicked grin. 0

L pretended not to notice someone approaching and raised his voice to feign mediation. "What are you two fighting about? Do you think Death Goddess would be interested in either of you?" 0
