All signs pointed to one conclusion: Kabo Corporation was definitely in trouble. The vice president's incident, along with Fang Shanshan being inexplicably attacked and kidnapped by Viper Woman, only reinforced this notion.
Han Ming's Antique Motorcycle, truly a classic, was a sight to behold. With its bare wheels and raised fenders, it looked like it had just come from a street race. The handlebars were gripped by leather gloves, complemented by sunglasses and a short bomber jacket.
Mounting the motorcycle, Xiao Qiang transformed into a formidable street racer. Although the bike was an antique, it roared with power. The sound was deep and rich as he sped off in search of shortcuts, heading straight for Kabo Corporation.
Upon arriving at Kabo Corporation's entrance, his attire made it clear he wouldn't be allowed inside. As Xiao Qiang approached the door, a robot came over and politely asked, "Sir, do you need assistance?"
"Get lost! I don't need your useless help."
One robot after another approached him with inquiries, all of which he dismissed. A staff member in uniform began to take notice of this intruder boldly entering Kabo Corporation, pinching an ID card between their fingers as they strode confidently toward the main hall.
The hall was the first barrier; Xiao Qiang's ID was invalid, and a simulated female voice repeatedly announced, "Authorization failed." Yet he stubbornly shoved the card in again and again.
Several staff members exchanged glances and moved in closer. Each held something in their hands while Xiao Qiang ignored the threats surrounding him and punched the voice control device with all his might.
Instantly, alarms blared throughout the Kabo Corporation lobby. The approaching staff rushed forward, hoping to apprehend the intruder.
This was exactly what Xiao Qiang wanted; the bigger the commotion, the better. It would draw out Choke and Serpent Woman. With a swift motion, he unleashed his right fist like a gust of wind, propelling himself forward! The powerful punch created a whirlwind effect as he retaliated with forceful intent. Amidst the dazzling lights and shadows, those nearby were caught off guard, clutching their knees and bellies as they writhed on the ground in agony.
Looking at the writhing figures on the floor, Xiao Qiang sneered, "I am Xiao Qiang. Where is your giant Choke?"
"I am here." A voice came from the entrance of the hall—calm yet authoritative—as a well-dressed man with a prominent belly stepped into view.
Indeed, it was Choke. He had once been Xiao Qiang's teacher back in 2038 and was the instigator behind the entire simulation space project.
Choke moved his lips slightly and shot him a piercing glance with his hawk-like eyes. In a tone laced with disdain, he remarked, "It's you?"
"Yes, it's me. Xiao Qiang has returned."
“Ha ha ha! A great teacher produces outstanding students?”
“Pah, what kind of teacher are you? Aren't you just teaching a mindless, dazed person the most basic rules of eating, drinking, and living?”
With a sharp retort, Choke's face changed like a magician's trick. One moment it was pale, the next it was flushed, standing there unable to move forward or backward. Finally, he whispered a few words to the people around him, pretending to be calm as he tried to leave.
Xiao Qiang would not let him go; he needed to find Fang Shanshan through him.
He stepped forward quickly and blocked Choke's path.
Choke's companions glared at Xiao Qiang but could not act disrespectfully in front of so many employees. Moreover, Choke did not want to escalate the situation. He shot a cold glance at Xiao Qiang and said, “Come with me.”
Xiao Qiang pondered for a moment and replied, “Alright.” He followed without being servile or arrogant. He knew that once they entered the Kabo Corporation lobby, all staff members were strictly prohibited from carrying weapons. Anyone carrying a weapon had to pass through the robot security system, which was equipped with scanning, detection, and calculation functions.
If anyone attempted to enter or exit with a weapon, the robots would immediately respond. Since violent weapons posed a lethal threat to them as well, Kabo Corporation employees generally did not dare carry weapons openly.
The people following Choke were merely brutes with some rudimentary skills. Xiao Qiang was confident he could easily handle them.
As they left the lobby, one of Choke's companions waved at the other onlookers and said, “Disperse; go back to what you were doing.”
Just as Xiao Qiang entered, Choke waved his hand and his companions surrounded him.
Choke's cold gaze swept over him as he sneered, “Kid, you're too green to challenge me.”
“Ha! How about we have a little contest?” Xiao Qiang quickly scanned the room; it wasn't large. It was enough space for him to use his Ability against Choke's lackeys. He needed to capture Choke in a short time to exchange him for Fang Shanshan, who had been abducted by Serpent Woman.
“Stinking mutant; you won't even need me to lift a finger; they’ll be enough for you,” Choke snapped his fingers and casually leaned back in his chair, propping his feet up on the desk as he flipped through a magazine. The magazine featured dynamic images of alluring women, vividly displaying their charms and striking poses.
First was Reincarnation Tactics, with unwavering focus on Xiao Qiang, who moved around, ready to spring into action at any moment. The thugs could no longer contain themselves and charged in, the attack began with a bang! Xiao Qiang snorted coldly, taking the blows head-on. One of the opponents let out a low cry as he pulled back his arm, already dislocated.
"Go back and have your mom apply some ointment," Xiao Qiang taunted, then launched into the second round of combat.
The first thug had suffered, and during the second wave of attacks, they suddenly changed tactics. Three of them charged together, splitting into two to attack below while one targeted above. Two focused on Xiao Qiang's lower body while one aimed for his head and chest.
Xiao Qiang smirked confidently, feigning an attack before swiftly retreating. Bang! The two attacking his lower body collided with each other as they missed their target, ending up hitting their own teammate.
"You idiots," Choke shouted, finally tearing his gaze away from the dynamic magazine beside him. He hurled the magazine at the two fools.
Xiao Qiang had already taken down three without using his abilities, leaving three others staring at each other in hesitation, too scared to advance.
Seeing Choke's ulterior motives, Xiao Qiang knew he had to take down those three before getting closer. His expression darkened as he swiftly moved left, right, forward, and backward before stopping.
Puff! The three thugs hadn’t even realized what was happening when Xiao Qiang's dagger sliced through their belts. They scrambled to pull up their pants in a flustered panic, unable to deal with Xiao Qiang amidst their chaos.
Seeing that the situation was slipping away and realizing his companions were useless, Choke erupted in anger. He opened a drawer and grasped the prepared X17 silenced pistol. The dark muzzle aimed at Xiao Qiang as his thumb and index finger slowly tightened around the trigger.
