Noticing that Xiao Qiang seemed lost in thought, Liu Yi gently nudged his arm and said, "Are you really eager to see her?"
"What?" Xiao Qiang replied cautiously, wondering if this guy was up to some trick.
"Don't worry. I'm genuinely trying to help you. Meeting her is simple but not easy."
"Spit it out already."
"When we gather later, we’ll definitely be running. She’ll be in that room behind Fourth Barracks..." Liu Yi noticed someone approaching and quickly fell silent, pulling away from Xiao Qiang.
Once the person had passed, he leaned in closer and said, "But she's not easy to deal with. You need to be prepared."
"Prepared for a beating?"
Liu Yi nodded seriously. "Yes... she's always looking for a challenge..." As he spoke, Xiao Qiang caught a flash of fear in his eyes and continued, "She'll treat you like a Mimetic Bionic Alien."

Liu Yi glanced around and gestured for Xiao Qiang to move into a blind spot—an area where the surveillance couldn't reach. He whispered the details to him and added sternly, "This is between us. If anything goes wrong, I can't help you. Please understand that."
"Thanks." They shared an unspoken understanding as time was tight, and they parted ways to handle their own tasks.
At exactly nine o'clock, the military camp became noisy and bustling. Troops marched out of the camp in large numbers while armored vehicles rolled out one after another from the left side where Xiao Qiang stood.
Liu Yi winked at him, signaling that they needed to slip under one of the armored vehicle's wheels. In an instant, they had to roll past it to avoid drawing L Captain's attention.
Running was considered one of the simpler training exercises. Xiao Qiang was positioned just right relative to the moving armored vehicle and wasn't too far away. Watching the slowly turning wheels made him feel uneasy; if he hesitated even slightly, those wheels could easily crush him.
With a whistle in his mouth, L Captain blew sharply as his gaze followed the running soldiers. He didn’t notice that one soldier was missing as an armored vehicle passed by.
In a flash, Xiao Qiang darted through under the armored vehicle's wheels with incredible speed. The vehicle provided perfect cover for his escape. Following Liu Yi's directions, he made his way into another barracks area where soldiers were bustling about without noticing the unfamiliar face among them—perhaps they mistook him for a new recruit. Unexpectedly smoothly, he slipped into a spacious training facility equipped with special devices.
Beneath his feet lay an intelligent sensor line that triggered voice alerts. As soon as he stepped near it, a simulated female voice warned: "Warning! Do not cross into dangerous restricted areas."
Despite the warning, he saw that within this so-called dangerous zone lay none other than Lin Yu—the stunning beauty who seemed oblivious to everything as she lounged comfortably.
Ignoring the warning entirely, he walked straight over. The alert line flickered with pale white light just as a strong hand reached from behind and grabbed his shoulder, pulling him back.
Caught completely off guard by this sudden attack, Xiao Qiang instinctively turned around and threw a punch—but stopped just short of making contact.
The other person looked serious but not hostile as they glared at him and asked, "What do you think you're doing?"
Xiao Qiang smirked slightly, a smile that was neither fully a smile nor a frown, and said, "Challenge the goddess."
"You think you’re worthy?"
"Let’s see if you can back it up," Xiao Qiang replied, his expression darkening as he brushed off the hand resting on his shoulder and turned to glare at Lin Yu.
Number 22, lying on the ground, was unable to continue resting due to the two large men outside the warning line. She sat up and fixed her gaze on the arrogant scholar who dared to ignore the warning line and challenge her.
"Let him in."
The man still entangled with Xiao Qiang had no choice but to leave upon hearing the goddess's command. He glanced back at Xiao Qiang before walking straight inside.
As soon as Xiao Qiang crossed into the warning line, a series of swift movements began—three triangular steel frames spun towards him like blades.
"If you want to challenge me, you must first defeat them," Number 22 said expressionlessly, her eyes devoid of any previous gentleness, replaced only by a murderous intent.
In an instant, the deadly spinning frames rushed toward him. The speed of their rotation was so fast that he could barely see their axes; all he noticed was a white blur that wrapped around them like a storm, attacking him from all sides.
What on earth is this? Xiao Qiang dodged to the left but neglected the right. Suddenly, he felt a heavy blow to his back that nearly knocked him off his feet. The spinning frame came at him again. He crouched low and rolled away, but as he stood up, bam! His forehead felt as if it had been struck by a knife. A tingling sensation shot through him as he instinctively touched his forehead—his hand came away covered in blood.
After taking hit after hit in quick succession, Xiao Qiang found himself unable to retaliate; he could only defend himself. Number 22 let out a cold laugh and stopped the spinning frames, not even bothering to look at him as she walked away.
Xiao Qiang lay sprawled on the ground, feeling as if the world were spinning around him. Slowly, he shifted his gaze toward the deadly contraption. To his surprise, it was made of three ten-centimeter-thick steel plates shaped like crescent moons that could expand and contract like human joints. When not spinning, they resembled giant claws; when they spun, those claws opened up into blades.
Wiping away the blood still flowing from his nose, he attempted to push himself up. Just then, the man who had blocked him earlier appeared again, wearing a mocking expression as he approached with an outstretched hand.
"Get lost," Xiao Qiang snapped angrily as he limped out of the warning line and retreated along the same path he had come from.
