The engine at the front of the craft roared to life, but they couldn't take off just yet; they had to hold onto the control stick with all their might and use the thrust from taxiing to move forward. Wen Kai unleashed his powerful shockwave weapon, targeting the relentless waves of Mimic Monsters rolling in. Under his resistance, a wall of flames formed, creating a strong defensive line. 0

Monsters rolled in from the northwest, spewing corrosive flames that clashed violently with the shockwave weapon. The brief moment of resistance was only temporary. As the splashes on the water surface grew denser, Wen Kai felt a strain. 0

"We definitely can't get through," Wu Yi said, lacking confidence at this critical moment, revealing a hint of cowardice. 0

"We can make it," Xiao Qiang replied, his eyes filled with determination as he decisively pulled down on the control stick. The engine let out a shriek, reminiscent of a knight urging his steed forward. 0

"Come on!" Wen Kai shouted, frightened by the approaching Mimetic Organisms. It wasn't fear itself but rather the dread of failure and the potential for greater casualties. He thought of the beach where countless Human Warriors fought valiantly against these foes, wondering how many brave souls had already fallen to the Bionic Mimetic Creatures. 0

"Damn it!" Xiao Qiang exclaimed angrily as he yanked on the control stick with all his strength. The engine successfully glided forward, quickly approaching Wen Kai. "Get on!" As they sped away from the northwest, waves of Mimetic Organisms surged toward them—at least several thousand strong. It seemed that his earlier estimate of around a thousand was grossly inaccurate; they were determined to eliminate Xiao Qiang and his team right at their doorstep. 0

As Wen Kai retreated, the Mimetic Organisms surged forward with renewed confidence. Standing at the cabin door were Wu Yi, Li Hang, Wen Kai, and Lin Yu, forming a powerful firepower net to prevent the Mimetic Organisms from getting close to the engine's nose. If they got too close, it would surely lead to further destruction, jeopardizing their plan to cross fifty meters and reach their lair. 0

The Mimetic Organisms indeed charged toward the engine's nose. They employed four strategies: dodging, leaping, circling, and aggressive attacks against Xiao Qiang and his team—tactics stolen from human thought by the cunning Mimic Leader. "You take over the control stick," Xiao Qiang instructed Lin Yu. 0

Seeing these enemies rolling in made everyone's blood boil; they longed to unleash their full power against them. Yet in such brutal warfare, maintaining composure was crucial. They understood that what they faced wasn't merely Mutated Skeletons relying on environmental advantages or bloodthirsty vampires known for their savagery. They were up against agile beings capable of mimicking human thought—ambitious bionic Mimetic Alien Monsters intent on dominating Earth. 0

Inside the engine cabin lay spare battle suits. Under Xiao Qiang's command, their tendrils swept through the incoming Mimetic Organisms. 0

The scene was nothing short of breathtaking as fiery projectiles zipped through the air—some launched by the attacking Mimetic Organisms and others by their own firepower network. 0

The Mimic Monsters hissed ominously as they surrounded from all sides. Xiao Qiang remained calm and commanding, confident and fearless against the Wind Sharks that attacked like monsters. 0

He had seen movies featuring Wind Sharks; they relied on fierce winds to swoop down and attack humans or sever necks and limbs—truly a bloody horror show. 0

Wind Sharks and Mimetic Organisms were two entirely different concepts; one thrived on wind while targeting prey for survival, while the other invaded Earth using intelligence and formidable offensive capabilities. Thus, dealing with the latter proved far more challenging; abilities were ineffective against them since they came from all directions. Each Mimetic Organism possessed no fewer than eight tentacles as primary weapons. 0

Each tentacle bore corrosive fireball attack capabilities. Faced with such fierce assaults from fireballs, abilities offered little assistance; using them would only drain physical energy significantly without yielding benefits. Therefore, abilities could only be used against a few enemies; for now, they had no choice but to rely solely on weapons. 0

With so many Mimetic Organisms present, those floating lifelessly on the water obstructed their engine's path forward. To make matters worse, a Mimic Monster lunged at the top of their engine cabin—the situation was becoming increasingly dire. 0

The Mimetic Organisms trampled over their fallen brethren as they drew closer to Xiao Qiang and his team. 0

The engine's nose spun in the water—not a good sign—they needed to find a way to push forward. Xiao Qiang's decision to have Lin Yu handle the control stick was also an act of protection because in such intense combat fueled by adrenaline, if she were to use her telekinetic wave impulsively… well, that would lead to mutual destruction. 0

He didn't want to lose her; even if death awaited them, he wanted them to face it together. 0

Xiao Qiang maneuvered within the MctcH Mech Suit while positioning Wen Kai on his left wing and himself on the right wing; Li Hang took center stage while Wu Yi protected Lin Yu at their rear entrance. 0

This formation allowed them to confront enemies coming from all directions. After this deployment, indeed, the Mimetic Organisms no longer acted as recklessly as before; they were kept at bay three feet away from their wings while fireballs launched toward them were blocked by their defenses—at least for now. 0

A few Mimetic Organisms approached from behind; Wu Yi shouted, "Alpaca! I'll send you back to space!" The sound of gunfire echoed as he shot down several of them. 0

Xiao Qiang and Wen Kai worked in tandem—one on each side—to keep the Mimic Monsters at bay. 0

Everyone's nerves were taut as Lin Yu pulled hard on the control stick; finally carving out a bloody path as they slid forward. 0

The nearby Mimetic Organisms waved their tentacles and lunged after their rapidly advancing wings. Xiao Qiang sensed that they were changing their attack strategy; he continued firing while observing those eager monsters readying themselves for an assault. 0

Unfortunately, Wu Yi was running low on ammunition when one attacking from behind slipped inside—a critical oversight! Li Hang turned back to deal with it just as multiple Mimics breached through their central door into the cabin. 0

Lin Yu panicked upon seeing Wu Yi engaged closely with a Mimicry enemy but failed to notice an obstacle ahead—a nearly collapsing loft obstructing their wings' advance. 0

As Xiao Qiang and Wen Kai hung suspended beside their craft battling off attacking Mimetic Organisms, they were abruptly severed from their vehicle by that towering loft. Both fell into the water while their detached engine cabin continued sliding forward with Wu Yi, Lin Yu, and Li Hang still aboard. 0

Inside that cabin during combat with Mimicry enemies, Lin Yu lost her balance during a collision and was violently thrown out of the craft. 0
