Li Hang said that just half an hour ago, he had submerged Xiao Qiang in the pond, and he should have woken up by now. He instructed the members of the clan to clean up the battlefield and went to check on the situation at the pond with Lin Yu.

The Human Official Army was still engaged in Mass Extermination, searching every household. They forcibly dragged out those Transformed Species who were hiding indoors and sprayed them with Silver Nitrate Sprayers.
Humans infected by such S Creatures faced devastating slaughter. The scene was horrific, filled with Patrol Officers searching everywhere amidst cries of despair.
News channels broadcasted 24/7, offering heartfelt condolences and advising human compatriots who had lost loved ones during this large-scale search not to panic but to focus on the bigger picture, face everything calmly, and actively report the residences and surnames of infected individuals.
This Mass Extermination directly affected extraterrestrial species residing on Earth. Just as Lin Yu and Li Hang were caught in this forced secretive operation, Han Shaoyu invaded the Li Family.
The Li Family was also a relatively hidden Vampire Family; their sudden appearance of numerous Beast Werewolves was no coincidence. It was not Han Shaoyu's doing but rather something more complicated.
However, when Han Shaoyu thought he could successfully find the owner of the Rare Serum this time, he discovered he was too late. The Li Family residence had already been subjected to a thorough cleansing by human officials.

With an unsuccessful start coinciding with humanity's Mass Extermination, this operation declared failure while unexpectedly uncovering Cold Star trapped within a stone house.

Matt seemed not to have heard him; with an indifferent demeanor, he ignored the barmaid's flirtations and said, "I'll have a drink." As the barmaid went to fetch it, he leaned closer to Wu Yi's ear and whispered, "Do you want to bet on how many connection wires she has inside her?"
Wu Yi chuckled in disbelief and refused to take Matt's bet. His eyes and insight were unmatched; if she was indeed a machine barmaid, then she certainly was one.
"Could it be related to Professor R?" Wu Yi asked as he nervously trimmed his fingernails, fearing someone might notice their abnormality and report him. With a snip, it seemed his scissors were a bit dull; it took him quite some time to finish.
Matt frowned, took a sip of his drink, and muttered, "That's disgusting. You could schedule your nail trimming during your breaks."
Wu Yi held the scissors up to his nose and laughed out loud. "If you keep nagging me like that tonight, I'll use my nails to strangle you."
"How can you still joke around?" Matt shifted his gaze towards the street near the tavern. "It's strange; why are they carrying flamethrowers in broad daylight? Are they planning to kill someone?"
"Maybe they're hunting vampires?"
"I feel like it's not just those vampires," Matt said thoughtfully, staring at a tall man in a suit, curling his lip. "Look at that guy; he doesn't seem like anything good."
"What do you mean?"
"He's..." Matt hesitated, noticing that others in the tavern were watching them. He quickly lowered his voice. "Let's get out of here! With how you looked just now, they're paying attention to you."
Wu Yi followed Matt's gaze and indeed saw two people sitting side by side at the bar, both staring at them.
"That's not right; they're looking at you," Wu Yi said nervously. He didn't want to end up in some holding cell at this moment. He needed to find R and the others quickly to get information about Lin Yu.
However, it seemed things were beyond his control. The two people had already stood up, their eyes fixed on them as they walked over directly.
"Are they detectives?" Wu Yi's heart raced. He wasn't afraid of these suited humans; he just didn't want to cause unnecessary misunderstandings before finding Lin Yu. Plus, he feared the flamethrower that was likely hidden beneath their jackets.
"Don't panic," Matt advised. He scanned the room aimlessly, maintaining a calm demeanor as he raised his glass to his lips.
