In the images, a figure wearing a veil appeared, moving gracefully in the rain. Xiao Qiang looked at this strange scene with curiosity. Who was this person?
Seeing this, Oke unexpectedly began to sob, saying, "He is the owner of this ring. Everything you have experienced is related to him. The mural hints beneath Stratum and the garbage DNA information in your mind were all set by him. His purpose was to save Earthling. But he was harmed by the Blue Star System's Catcher, leading to the eventual destruction of Earth."
"I see," Xiao Qiang replied, still processing the concept of garbage DNA information, which he had never heard of before. He touched his head and muttered to himself, "How did he input that information into my mind?"
Oke shook his head and said, "Unfortunately, humanity is often too clever for its own good. If they could combine this set of garbage DNA, it would be the lifeline for Earthling."
Under Oke's manipulation, the ring did not display anything else; instead, a map-like image appeared in the palm of Xiao Qiang's hand. "What is this?"
Oke was surprised and cautiously lifted his hand with a pair of pincers. "Is it garbage DNA? Is it a map of the Cosmic Star System..." As he spoke, he stared blankly at a specific location on the image. "I can't understand; what are these?"
Xiao Qiang pondered deeply, trying to recall who might have come into contact with this ring. Whoever had touched it must have set up the plan to save Earth that Oke mentioned somewhere in their mind, and the clues were contained within this ring.
Oke shifted his gaze from Xiao Qiang's fingers and sighed. "In fact, humanity's scientific advancements have already frightened certain beings from other star systems. This concerns the seven great Mysteries of the universe that humanity has unraveled; only then can Earth's beings elevate their status in the cosmos."
"In the universe, are we...?" Xiao Qiang hesitated, recalling the humiliation he had just suffered.
"Yes, among all beings in the universe, Earth's life forms are considered the lowest tier. When you unraveled the seven great Mysteries of the universe, it frightened Blue Star Lifeforms, which is why they launched a surprise attack on you."
"So that's how it is?"
"Yes."
"What should we do next?"
"Let's go to Wandering Colony Star; perhaps you will find what you're looking for there."
"Wandering Colony Star?"
"Yes. There you will see what you want."
"Is Wandering Colony Star outside or inside Red Zone?" Xiao Qiang asked casually as he followed Oke into his spaceship and suddenly remembered Red Zone.
"It's relatively close!" Oke activated the spaceship and reminded him, "Hold on tight." The spaceship shot forward like an arrow, following its trajectory into the sea of stars.
Wandering Colony Star is akin to a no-man's land on Earth. Various extraterrestrial beings might reside here, and it serves as a cosmic junkyard. The inhabitants are generally those who are impoverished and have nowhere else to go, joining the ranks of those clearing space debris in hopes of earning a meal.
This place is different from the war-torn expanses of space, filled with countless star systems. Xiao Qiang gazed into the distance, reminiscing about Earth. He thought of the five War Orphans he once fought alongside, and his eyes grew misty.
"Are you homesick?" Oke, ever observant, could sense Xiao Qiang's emotional state even without looking directly at him.
Oke's words pulled Xiao Qiang back from his melancholic thoughts. He forced a smile and nodded, "Yeah, I think about it all the time."
"What kind of people are at home?" Oke asked with a grin, "Is that too abrupt?"
"Not at all." Xiao Qiang's gaze dimmed slightly as he managed a strained smile. "The hibernation period is set; I have to wake up at the designated time."
"Well, it seems the secret to human regeneration lies within that ring on your finger. I can't decipher the symbols displayed on it, but someone can."
"Who?"
"Aulian."
"Aulian is?"
"A being from one of the Eight Major Star Systems."
"Alright then, what are you taking me to see at Wandering Colony Star?"
"There are Earth beings there—humans. Don't you want to take a look?" Oke nodded. "We're almost there."
Wandering Colony Star was a desolate planet littered with garbage. Aside from sandstorms, green plants were nearly nonexistent. The ramshackle shantytown housed emaciated beings, including humans who had wandered here from Earth.
The cosmic debris was overwhelming—broken spaceships needing laser beams to be cut apart before being salvaged by transport ships. The busy inhabitants merely glanced at the ship slowly descending onto the planet as if it were an everyday occurrence; after all, ships arriving here were typically looking for trouble.
Xiao Qiang suddenly thought of a sensitive question: "Will Blue Star Biologicals come here?"
"No, unless there's something they need," Oke replied, scanning the busy residents around them. "These are all impoverished beings without status; Blue Star Biologicals have never set foot here."
Xiao Qiang felt a stir in his heart and wondered: What if the remaining humans were relocated here? While Oke waited, he caught sight of Xiao Qiang lost in thought when a tall being resembling a kangaroo appeared in their line of sight. He seemed familiar with Oke and approached them with a loud greeting: "Hey! How have you been, old friend?"
"Good," Oke said as he walked over to embrace Mr. Kangaroo.
Mr. Kangaroo looked at Xiao Qiang with a surprised expression and said, "Earthling?"
"Yes, Earthling," Oke added, introducing, "Wildfire." Noticing Xiao Qiang's astonished gaze, he explained further, "It was your ship's simulated Girl who told me."
Xiao Qiang instinctively reached out his hand, and Mr. Kangaroo's hand... well, it was already extended. It would be awkward to pull back now, so he reluctantly grasped the unique hand of the other, nervously retracting it afterward. Feeling both amused and frustrated, he could only nod awkwardly as if trying to hide the embarrassment of his earlier actions.
"What do you need me to do, Earthling?" Mr. Kangaroo seemed not very friendly towards Xiao Qiang; perhaps his earlier gesture had annoyed him. If it weren't for Oke being present, he might have completely ignored this Earthling's existence.
"Are there many Earthlings here?" Oke asked in place of Xiao Qiang.
"There aren't many left. Hehe, maybe in a few years, Earthlings will go extinct."
"You..." Xiao Qiang was furious and really wanted to punch that ugly mouth.
"Don't be hasty; Kyle is right. If you don't come up with a plan soon, your species on Earth will truly become extinct."
Though the words were harsh, they were also quite real. Xiao Qiang felt speechless as he turned his gaze toward a human stumbling in the distance like a drunk man. Excited yet anxious not to be mistaken, he confirmed that the figure approaching was indeed a human as it came closer.
