The power of the Quake Fruit at A-Class has undergone a fundamental enhancement, affecting a much larger area than before.
For instance, when Shasha throws a punch now, even without hitting an enemy directly, the vibration can reduce them to a bloody mist. He once tested the fruit's power in an abandoned warehouse, and with his current strength, he could easily shake the entire building apart.
However, the downside is that control and proficiency need to be rebuilt; otherwise, it could lead to situations like this one.
The vibrations are uncontrollable, and the ground around Shasha begins to crack slowly.
This scene is fully observed by the three figures on the rooftop. While Scott shows no visible change, Aurora and the Brotherhood members' eyes shine brightly, as if they have spotted a treasure.
At this moment, the ninjas from Hand-to-Hand Meeting are already planning to retreat, but Shasha has no intention of letting them go.
Just as Shasha moves to pursue the Hand-to-Hand Meeting ninjas, Scott makes his move. However, just as he intends to leap from the rooftop, he is suddenly halted by an unseen force, leaving him suspended in mid-air.
Fuming with anger, Scott shouts, "Magneto!!"
The floating figure slowly descends. Clad in red attire and wearing a peculiar helmet, he appears as a singular presence.
He is of similar age to Charles but possesses a robust physique that belies his elder appearance. His aged face is expressionless yet exudes undeniable authority, like a king among men.
He is Magneto, the leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants and a fervent advocate for mutant supremacy.
"Did Charles not teach you what manners are?"
Scott remains silent, his gaze hidden behind his visor fixed intently on him.
Aurora is poised for action, wind swirling in her hands. "Magneto, do you wish to start a fight?"
"Of course not. I merely found an interesting fellow mutant and hope not to see him taken away by you," Magneto replies with a playful expression. "While I wouldn't mind intervening, it would be somewhat unfair. Go back and tell Charles not to meddle in everything; let this child grow on his own without trying to guide others with his methods."
With a swift motion, Aurora and Scott were sent flying, and once they regained their footing, both wisely refrained from advancing.
Exchanging glances, Aurora gently shook her head at Scott, conveying a message through her mental powers, "We are not their match; let's avoid conflict as much as possible. As for that child, we can deal with it when we return to headquarters."
Scott had no objections; he had never wanted to be out here in the first place.
After the two departed, Magneto's gaze shifted to Shasha, who was searching for the Hand-to-Hand Meeting ninjas.
At that moment, Shasha fully exhibited the primal nature of human slaughter. His abilities grew stronger with each kill, and with Vibration combined with Liquid Snake's skills, he was nearly unstoppable. He gradually became lost in the thrill of it all.
Witnessing this scene, Magneto's expression flickered. "Awakening abilities and losing one's true self? No, he is manipulating his powers; has he awakened the bloodthirsty genes within his body? This situation seems quite troublesome."
Troublesome was an understatement; Shasha was essentially becoming a madman. If this continued, his descent into slaughter would turn him into a machine that knew only how to kill.
Meanwhile, Stick Sage led Erika and Matt in a proactive assault. The synergy among the three made them formidable.
Gradually, the Hand-to-Hand Meeting's offensive began to wane. After all, they were not only facing the Purity Society but also a madman.
"Strange, why are these guys retreating so easily? They still seem to have the upper hand," Stick Sage remarked, sensing that members of the Hand-to-Hand Meeting were slowly pulling back. His brow furrowed in confusion.
In response to Stick Sage's puzzlement, Daredevil shared his sentiment. "Could it be that they are facing some trouble?"
Erika couldn't help but think of Shasha but quickly dismissed the thought; she knew Shasha's skills were not that formidable.
However, reality proved that some individuals could not be measured by past standards.
Soon enough, Stick Sage sensed an anomaly in one area. "There's a fight over there; let's go check it out."
The three moved swiftly and soon arrived at the scene of the battle. Erika immediately spotted Shasha surrounded by Hand-to-Hand Meeting ninjas, and her expression turned to one of shock.
"It's the Hand-to-Hand Meeting! They are besieging someone! So that's it—they're not retreating; they intend to eliminate this person."
"Stick Sage" finally realized something and immediately felt curious about "Shasha's" identity. "This person seems to be..."
"A mutant!" "Daredevil" affirmed confidently. "I've sensed their wavelength before; it's different from that of ordinary people."
How could he not be a mutant? "Erika" could tell with her own eyes, after all, only someone extraordinary could turn a person into a bloody mist. She never imagined that the person she had been living with for months was actually a mutant.
Why hadn't he revealed this before? Such questions swirled in "Erika's" mind.
"Wait, he seems to have entered a state of madness!" "Stick Sage" suddenly sensed something unusual about "Shasha," and his expression changed immediately.
