In the dead of night, a jewelry store was robbed in a way that seemed absurd yet had actually happened three times. 0

The gang's choice of location was never fixed, leaving the police unable to discern any patterns or know where to start. They could only watch helplessly as the criminals continued their spree without any leads. 0

The incompetence of the New York police left the public dissatisfied. Several jewelry store owners banded together to appeal for a swift resolution to the case. Although their losses were irreparable, they hoped that those damned criminals would face justice. 0

The police, of course, claimed they would resolve the matter quickly, but in reality, they were still fumbling around without any clues. 0

That night, near Times Square, outside a jewelry store in southern Queens, a middle-aged man was pacing back and forth while smoking a cigarette and talking on the phone, reluctant to leave the area. 0

After a while, he hung up and discreetly surveyed his surroundings before silently disappearing into the street. 0

The foot traffic was heavy at this hour; after all, it was still early evening and the jewelry store had not yet closed. 0

This particular jewelry store boasted the most advanced security measures in America. The owner felt a sense of smug satisfaction as he watched his competitors suffer misfortunes. Unfortunately for him, his store had also caught the attention of someone. 0

An old apartment stood just three blocks away from the jewelry store. The middle-aged man who had been on the phone earlier arrived here. He appeared calm, but if one looked closely, they would see wariness in his eyes. 0

In a room on the third floor, someone pulled down a corner of the window blinds. Upon seeing the middle-aged man return, the person whispered, "Dawson is back; it seems he has scoped out the place." 0

Before long, there was a knock at the door. When it opened, light flooded into the dark room where three burly men stood. Dawson quickly shut the door behind him, plunging them back into darkness. 0

"I just checked; their security system is quite good. Regular explosives would be hard to breach," Dawson reported. 0

Upon hearing this, one of the men with a scar on his forehead frowned and asked, "What about using something stronger?" 0

Dawson's eyes widened in shock at this suggestion. "Are you crazy? That kind of power could bring down the building's columns! If we can't get our hands on the jewels, all that noise will attract police attention." 0

The scarred man sneered at Dawson's fearful response. "If their security system is so good, then using more powerful explosives shouldn't be an issue. Besides, do you really think we can't escape if we draw police attention? Those guys could never trap us." 0

Dawson lowered his head and sighed after hearing this. "Fine, Kunter, you make the call." 0

Seeing Dawson in low spirits, the scar-faced Kunter patted him on the shoulder. "After this job, we'll move to another city. I know you're worried about getting caught and understand your difficulties, but we have no way back now." 0

Hearing Kunter's words, Dawson couldn't help but smile bitterly. He forced himself to suppress those negative emotions and prepared for another robbery. 0

Time passed slowly as the jewelry store closed, and the flow of people gradually diminished. However, even as evening approached, there were still quite a few pedestrians bustling about. 0

At that moment, a car suddenly screeched to a halt in front of the jewelry store. Several pedestrians who nearly got hit rushed forward, cursing, but when they saw four heavily armed Masked Robbers emerge from the vehicle, they were instantly terrified. 0

Kunter, leading the group, nodded at Dawson. The latter hesitated for a moment before gritting his teeth and walking to the entrance of the jewelry store to begin installing the explosives. 0

The other three guarded Dawson, vigilantly scanning the surroundings with their submachine guns. 0

The appearance of the robbers sent pedestrians fleeing in panic; some even turned a corner to call the police. But with a gunshot ringing out, one of them fell to the ground, showcasing how sharp-eyed and ruthless these men were. 0

Before long, the bomb was set. The four retreated, and with a loud explosion, sparks flew as debris rained down. 0

Watching the entrance blown open, Kunter hurriedly led his team inside. 0

Just then, Police Officers arrived in a flurry; several police cars followed suit. A total of eight police cars and over thirty officers gathered. Taking advantage of the moment when the robbers had not yet emerged, they set up a perimeter and began evacuating the surrounding crowd. 0

Though they were evacuating people, it didn’t hold much significance; after all, humanity's love for spectacle has spanned thousands of years. 0

"People inside, listen up! You are surrounded! Put down your weapons and surrender immediately!" 0

The loudspeaker startled Kunter, who was frantically grabbing jewelry. The smile on his face quickly froze as his expression darkened. The murderous glint in his eyes hinted at his next move. 0

Outside the jewelry store, the police waited for any sign of movement. However, in the next moment, a barrage of gunfire erupted. The whistling bullets made them duck for cover; some even dropped to the ground. 0

This scene was witnessed by onlookers from a distance, their faces pale as they looked on with disdain. 0

"Thirty-some police officers are actually being suppressed to the point where they can't lift their heads. What a disgrace!" 0

"These guys have always been bullies against the weak and cowards against the strong. Sigh, entrusting our lives and property to them is just bad luck." 0

It was undeniable that the four criminals, known as Kunter, appeared to be well-trained individuals, their marksmanship reminiscent of soldiers. 0

More than thirty armed police officers were being overwhelmed, and several had already been injured. Even though reinforcements were on the way, it seemed that the four were about to break through the encirclement. 0

Just as despair settled among the police and fear gripped the onlookers, a black figure suddenly descended from the smoke-filled building, blocking the path of Kunter and his men. 0

The figure wore a mask that covered his mouth and nose, known as the Toothy Demon Mask, and was clad in a black trench coat made of metallic material. He leaned on a Black Ghost Face Swallowing Long Sword, coldly assessing them. 0

"Fellas, this road is closed!" 0
