"The city is filled with sin." 0

A figure wandered through the skies of New York, effortlessly weaving between the towering skyscrapers. Even when crouched on the smooth, mirror-like glass, he would not fall, his form resembling that of a spider. 0

Suddenly looking up, the red and blue mask he wore revealed a pair of white compound eyes that glimmered with an unusual light. 0

"With great power comes great responsibility." 0

Below, a man and a woman were in pursuit; the woman was panicked while the man brandished a knife. He halted the flicker of his gaze and dove downwards. 0

The next day, Shasha sat in his office, listening to discussions about Natasha's sudden resignation. A strange expression crossed his face; if he could, he would tell them that she wasn't quitting but rather that there was no longer a need for her to continue. 0

He opened a newspaper, and the expression on Shasha's face quickly froze before he let out a soft laugh moments later. 0

"A figure drifting over New York." 0

A headline that revealed this person's origins, yet who would have thought this was precisely the time he was preparing to make his presence known? 0

Putting down the newspaper, Shasha rested his chin on his hand. Spider-Man had appeared, which meant that villains were gradually making their entrance, and Reputation would follow suit. He had once considered whether to provoke Peter Parker a bit; now it seemed unnecessary. 0

Just as Shasha pondered how to deal with Green Goblin's impending arrival, a text message chimed on his phone. He opened it casually and glanced at it, a playful smile spreading across his face. 0

"Midnight 1 AM, meet at the Golden Gate Bridge." 0

Although Spider-Man had shown up, the trouble currently facing him came from Felicia. 0

That night, Shasha climbed up to the Golden Gate Bridge. His eyes fell upon a pair of legs clad in black tights, though they weren't swaying joyfully as they had before. 0

"What game are we playing tonight?" Shasha asked casually as he sat down beside Felicia. 0

However, after a moment, Felicia remained silent. 0

Shasha turned in surprise and saw Black Cat's usual playful expression replaced by an emotionless face. He wanted to ask her what had happened but hesitated; they were not close enough for him to know how to broach the subject. 0

Just as Shasha was feeling quite hesitant, Felicia suddenly spoke up. "The game is canceled. I need you to do me a favor. If you can manage it, I'll hand everything over to you." 0

"Is this considered a transaction?" Shasha asked a rather foolish question. 0

Felicia raised an eyebrow and coldly replied, "If you want to think of it that way, go ahead." 0

Shasha awkwardly smiled, "That's not what I meant. If you have any troubles, you can tell me; it doesn't count as a transaction." 0

Felicia was taken aback by her words, and the expression on her face softened considerably. 0

The atmosphere cooled again, and after a while, Shasha began to gaze at Felicia's face, gradually becoming lost in thought. 0

"I once thought I would have no regrets, but now I realize that many things are not as simple as I imagined. When I was young, my mother passed away. It was my father who raised me all by himself. I used to think my father was just an ordinary man until I discovered his true identity when I turned eighteen. But by the time I learned the truth, he had already been imprisoned. I know this is largely his own fault, but only recently did I find out—" 0

At this point, she couldn't help but grit her teeth. "The cause of my father's death is suspicious!" 0

Shasha was stunned; was this her reason for wanting to cancel the game? To investigate her father's death? 0

While Shasha was lost in thought, Felicia had already turned to look directly at her. "I want you to help me investigate the cause of my father's death! As payment for your help, everything I've stolen will be yours." 0

Did Shasha have any reason to refuse? This was a substantial amount of money and a significant reputation boost; most importantly, it came with the favor of Black Cat. 0

Of course, what made it even harder to refuse was that the System had issued a new mission. 0

"Chain Side Quest Activated: Death of the Spirit Cat." 0

"Accept Black Cat's request and investigate the cause of Spirit Cat's death." 0

"Mission rewards will be calculated after completing the series of tasks." 0

A chain Side Quest? It seemed like the rewards would be quite generous; otherwise, they wouldn't wait until the series of tasks were completed for a unified settlement. 0

However, the more it seemed that way, the more Shasha looked forward to what rewards would come after completing the mission. Perhaps it could even include an Advanced Ability Extraction that he couldn't gather at this stage. 0

Just as Shasha couldn't help but dream about the rewards from future missions, Felicia's dissatisfied voice broke through his thoughts. 0

"Hey, what are you daydreaming about?" 0

Shasha snapped back to reality and waved her hand dismissively. "It's nothing, just thinking about a few things." 0

"Oh." Felicia didn't suspect anything and shifted to another question. "Where do you plan to start?" 0

"Which prison did your father stay in before he died?" 0

Of course, they needed to investigate from the source. Even after several years, there would surely be some traces left behind in the prison where Spirit Cat had died. 0

Felicia thought for a moment before naming one of the most famous and secure prisons in America. 0

"The Desert Prison on Rock Island, Colorado!" 0
